We recently purchased our first home and hired Encinitas Plumbing for a full repipe, tankless water…read moreheater installation, and two water filtration systems. I genuinely can't say enough good things about our experience with Tim and his team. Our repipe was a particularly challenging job because our home's foundation is divided into three separate crawl spaces by retaining walls, which meant the team had to drill through multiple walls to run the new plumbing throughout the house. Despite all of this, they managed to complete the entire repipe in just three days, which I've since learned from other plumbers is pretty exceptional. What impressed me most was how meticulous and organized they were throughout the entire process. They came prepared every morning, kept the work areas incredibly clean, and consistently communicated their progress so we always knew what was happening. It was also really great to see how Tim worked alongside his son, taking the time to teach and guide him while maintaining such a high standard of work. They also installed a Navien tankless water heater and our whole-house water conditioning and reverse osmosis systems. Tim was incredibly knowledgeable and walked us through everything, making us feel really confident in our decision to make these upgrades. As first-time homeowners, finding contractors who are honest, communicative, and genuinely take pride in their work has been so important to us. They absolutely delivered on all fronts, and we'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality plumbing work.

Subject: Unresolved property damage and failure to honor warranty…read more I am writing this review to share my experience with Mastercraft Plumbers Inc. regarding a project that resulted in irreparable damage to my bathtub. While the company performed the initial task of removing a corroded screw, their technician's negligence resulted in significant, irreparable damage to the bathtub. Despite a written warranty guaranteeing workmanship, the company refused to restore the tub to its original condition, instead proposing an inadequate "refinishing" remedy that did not meet professional standards. After months of attempting to reach a professional resolution, I was forced to pursue this matter in Small Claims Court. On June 8, 2026, the Superior Court of California ruled in my favor, confirming that the company failed to meet its obligations and awarding a judgment for the full cost of the necessary replacement. I am sharing this factual account to assist other consumers in their due diligence. I have attached the Court's Minute Order and photographs of the damage for transparency. I am posting this as an addendum to address the owner's response. I wish to clarify that the facts of this matter were adjudicated in the Superior Court of California (Case #25SC04822C). On June 8, 2026, the Court ruled in my favor and awarded a judgment for the costs of repair, rejecting the defendant's claims. My review is based on these documented findings, and I stand by the facts presented. I have attached the Court's Minute Order for transparency to allow future consumers to make informed decisions based on the official record.
