5 Stars - Fixed another shop's mistake for less than half the price!…read more Avtoro off Old Greenhouse Rd is a fantastic, straightforward shop. I needed a front strut reinstalled after a previous mobile mechanic put it in incorrectly. Avtoro took care of it quickly, safely, and correctly. They operate with a low-overhead setup (think master mechanic with full lifts) which keeps their prices incredibly low--my repair came out to less than half of what competing shops wanted to charge. Excellent problem solvers and fair pricing. I'll definitely be bringing my vehicles back here!

He did a great job, was very nice, and the price was perfect. He made a new customer and I'll refer him to anyone. Review update: Jay came out and replaced the coil overs and rear brakes on my car. He didn't finish and said he would be back. A month ago. A month of me calling and texting with no response. Meanwhile I have front coil overs that were never adjust properly and a loud clunk from one of them. I would assume at this point he is just ghosting next because he doesn't want to finish the job that I paid him for. Unless I hear back from him with a good explanation of why he couldn't use the phone for a month, I'll leave this review up as a warning for others. Second update: Miraculously the day after I posted the previous update, Jay contacted me. The months worth of text messages and calls weren't enough I guess. He said he was sick and would let me know when he would be able to come by. It's coming up on a month since that message and still no contact from him. Not even after I asked if he couldn't finish the work to just tell me. It's a shame that it got to this point, he seemed reputable at first. But now I'm stuck with a half assed job that I need to take somewhere else to get finished. Bottom line, stay away from this one. 30DEC19: And now he has the nerve to downvote my review here with his personal account. Nice try Mr. Jahol Rice.

Got upset that my garage didn't have adequate lighting and he would have to use his own portable lights. He diagnosed my coolant was leaking and my thermostat and thermostat housing had to be replaced and coolant added. He let me know he doesn't like to talk while working so I said no problem. During the work he said something and I answered. He was then RUDE and said he didn't want to talk. I informed him I was just answering his remark. I paid him $350 for the work done. Even though he had been rude, I was considering using him again. Then, my car, 5 weeks later, started exhibiting the same symptoms as before he worked on it. I contacted Oscar, we made an appointment for the next day. No call no show. I then took the car to a qualified auto repair center and will now be paying over $600 to replace the thermostat, replace the thermostat housing that he cracked and add more coolant. I would give negative stars if I could! DO NOT USE THIS GUY!!!
