I'd love if they added Adirondack merch too though. Lots of seating, Adirondack-style chairs to stretch your legs out on if you're taking a break from driving. There is also a kids playground and a dog area as well as a small area for everyone else to walk around. Overall, it was a great and easy stop!

The welcome center is only open from 7am to 7pm and when it's closed, there are no restrooms available. Fortunately, I have a potty on board the van. I arrived after closing, took a spot against some of the trees and remained undisturbed overnight. While they have signs that indicate "No camping," that doesn't mean no overnight parking. Just don't "recreate" or set out a tent or a grill, and you should be okay. The welcome center has a free wifi but it doesn't reach far. Other than the cool fact that it's in the Amsterdam area (but not that Amsterdam unfortunately), the gas is 10-30 cents overpriced but you can't get off the highway to get gas because you have to pay more in tolls if you do it that way. The food here is all pretty awful (haven't tried all of it though) and everything inside is overpriced, as usual for these plazas. They do have free Wi-Fi but don't stay too long, because if you fall asleep here or get caught up on your laptop, the people at the toll booth when you exit, will think that you're playing them for fools and will try and charge you full price $25 or so, because you stayed on the highway too long.
