I had called in good faith to confirm the guitar's details and buy directly, a route that also saved the store Reverb's fees. Once I called they said they were busy with other customers, and the listing was raised back to $2,600. Eventually the manager Gary offered me the guitar directly for $1,800. He was good to work with but the owner just wouldn't honor the price from when I called. Calling instead of clicking "Buy It Now" cost me $542. Everything Musical came out ahead: it avoided the Reverb fees, and I paid hundreds more than the price it had been publicly advertising minutes earlier. A reputable dealer should stand behind a live advertised price. I would not trust this store's listings or pricing without taking screenshots first, and I would not buy from them again.
