First, the interior is painted a yummy warm shade of yellow that is bright as sunshine on a gray wintry day that I shopped there. The quilt store has three rooms of fabrics and notions and patterns and books. The owner Carrie's lots of the Villa Rosa pattern cards which are easy and simple designs in fun and fresh colors. She also has lots of books including the popular 3 yard quilt books. Tons of fresh bright colors by Moda and Free Spirit with a sprinkling of civil war and 1930s Repros. What I especially liked is that she had many, many fat quarters individually available to purchase so you could fill out your stash. This store has a number of Riley Blake Lori Holt small individual block kits. Very nice! Many items I had never seen. Finally, very personable owner or staff. So friendly and informative and helpful. We discussed thimble use and vintage sewing machines and QuiltCon! I will be back even though I'm only visiting from out west. Bravo Sunday Best, you are best every day of the week!

I went to some fabric stores out here in CA and I don't see the selection that you have out there. I'd have to drive pretty far and I wouldn't know if I'd be happy. I do not know why this fabric store employs an eighteen year old male and leaves him in charge of…read morecustomer service, but he is probably one of the most incompetent people I have ever encountered. I needed a very specific fabric so I called to ask if it was in stock and he told me it was immediately. Then he said he had lots of fabrics that were the color I was looking for when all I needed was velvet. It seemed like he didn't even know what velvet was, but told me they had lots of fabrics and I would probably find what I needed. So I drove from Auburn to check out a couple of fabric stores. When I walked in he and another boy were watching a video on a phone, they continued watching this video until I was there for about five minutes and then the person I talked to on the phone started helping me. I told him what I needed and he went around the floor showing me things that were not that and it turned out they had absolutely no velvet in any color so he tried to convince me that what I really wanted was a woven fabric with a pattern. While this store has a fair number of woven fabrics, never ask anyone for help or you will be faced with the incompetence of their employees.
