So, he told her, that was fine he'd go somewhere else that was open. There is no reason to be rude or mean to your would-be customers. He didn't know it didn't open until 9, the doors were open, lights on, workers inside. She could have nicely said, 'Sir, we don't open until 9," My husband and I both have worked in retail and customer service when we were younger and if we talked to customers like that, we probably wouldn't have had a job.
