I checked out this store during Christmas to find some cute stocking stuffer gifts. However, it seemed that most things in the store were over $30 - slightly pricier than I thought it'd be. Also, it felt a bit overwhelming being asked way too frequently if I needed help. I have never given and store a negative review- but this time I just can't let it go. My husband purchased me a lovely Lizzy James bracelet for Christmas, but he purchased the wrong size. It was never worn, I had the receipt and all I wanted to do was exchange it for a smaller size. Since it was past the 7 day return date ( by only 4 days) I was told they couldn't exchange it and they were sorry. I will NEVER shop at this store again and I recommend you think twice about it before you do too. read more

Today I went to look for a new Vera Bradley crossbody and to purchase a Pandora Charm. The sales assiociate helped me and when I didn't find what I wanted she then directed me to look at the Vera Bradley sales items. Really, Thats a no-no to assume I wanted to visit the same items. This is a great place to get gifts for the women in your life. I was out and about trying to do some last minute Christmas shopping. I was looking for some nice soaps and lotions in the area. I didn't want to go to a big chain and drove around to various local businesses trying to find some good stuff. Most of the stores closed early since it was the afternoon Christmas Eve. I finally thought that I had to relegate myself to Bath and Body Works when I saw this store a few shops down, This store is so not me. It's full of Vera Bradley, Pandora and all the other things that most women like. Although it's not my cup of tea, it was great for what I was looking for. I wandered around the store for 30 minutes looking at everything and finally decided on some soaps from Crabtree and Evelyn. They have plenty of handbags, jewelry, and home decorations. read more

This store is closing permanently and I see why-customer service is severely lacking! They carry a brand I like and I've asked for 4 days via Facebook message if they could check on a few items for me since the store is 4.5 hours away. I'm driving to the beach tomorrow and if I stop, it adds a minimum of an extra hour to the drive. I don't want to waste time and gas if they have nothing left! I've tried calling but no one answers and they don't have voicemails set up so I can't leave a message. I sent my phone number in a message so they could call back if they preferred that to a message. I commented in a Facebook post today asking if someone could get back to me and they told me they were busy. Someone else said the inventory had been low already last weekend and then a third person replied but they must not have liked what she said because the deleted the whole post. Guess I won't bother since they clearly don't want my money! I would've happily paid over the phone earlier this week and made a quick detour for pickup but they can't be bothered to help customers so I'll spend that money with someone who at least pretends to care. read more

If I could give a zero I would. I never am one to complain, but the treatment received is disheartening. As I shopped in the store I became a victim to being racially profiled. I have shopped here before and have sent others to this establishment. Most certainly it is not all employees but rather the eldest employee who went out of her way to ask me to hold my products behind the counter, as I kindly declined she came around the corner just to make note of what products I had in my hand. I love the many items they have in the store. I, like the others, was asked many times if I needed help. It didn't really bother me but I can see where it would some people. There is so much stuff in the store they have to have people strategically placed in order to avoid shoplifting. I didn't take it personally. It is the way it is, and our society has made it necessary. This time of year is one of the busiest for shoplifting. Just go look and perhaps purchase, just don't get upset when someone is always near by, watching!!!!! read more

I have never been so embarrassed as I was when I brought out of town guests to take a peek at this gift shop. We had been to lunch after an army promotion ceremony and the ladies in the group went shopping. We entered the store and were greeted nicely. It went south after that. We were followed, we were repeatedly asked if we needed help if we touched anything or commented on anything. Did I mention we were followed? All conversations between employees stopped as they all watched us. When I recounted my story to other army wives they said they've always been ignored or followed when they visit this store. Needless to say we bought nothing and left. My aunt is a huge Vera Bradley and Brighton fan. She was happy to spend the money on post at the Px I stead at this store where she was treated so poorly. read more

It is not a pleasant shopping experience. From the minute I walked in to the minute I left I had to practically peel the employees off of me. I couldnt concentrate or look without their making comments or just being annoyingly close by. I was there to look at purses but left without one due do the pressure I felt. I am a white female so do not know if they do know about the racial profiling.. just know I didnt like being made to feel like I couldnt be trusted to look around without their never ending presence. read more

Stopped by to look at the Vera Bradley merchandise I prefer buying from local shops rather than Macy's or Dillard's. They followed me and my sister around I felt like I was being racially profiled. They were nice and friendly in appearance but overbearing and uncomfortable. I recommend going to Pine Mountain's, Town & Country Fashions or Auburn's, Wrapsody. I'll never go there again. All I wanted was a diaper bag by Vera. read more

Makes you feel very uncomfortable, and as wonderful as the products may be, no one wants to shop in a place where you feel like you're being treated as a criminal.. very poor customer service skills, & even worse for employees... it's a shame really.. read more

I used to shop at Traditions every time I visited the Columbus area. I would also call sometimes to shop on the phone (I live in VA). In fact, my entire family spent lots of time and money in that store and we loved it. Suddenly, all my favorite salespeople have gone, or more likely were asked to go???? It won't be the same. They were friendly and they knew their stock - especially Brighton and Pandora. They knew me by name and knew what I liked. Its a shame and now I will find a new place to make my purchases. I have shopped at this store for over 3 years buying gifts for my wife. I have bought my wife a Pandora bracelet and filled it up with charms that I purchased at Traditions. I was in there a couple of weeks ago to buy 3 Pandora bracelets for the grandmothers for Christmas. The women sales people in there were terrible to talk too. They were rude and just treated you like garbage. The next week my son was going in there to buy his girlfriend a Pandora bracelet also. He was treated the same way. They were also out of the Pandora boxes and made no effort to take down any information to call or contact us when they would be coming in. I contacted Pandora and let them know what happen and they were happy to send me 4 boxes for the bracelets we purchased from Traditions. I will not return to this store again. If I need to purchase anything Pandora I will either go to Reeds in the mall to see if they have it or just order it online. read more
