Wonderful historic building.

GREAT POTENTIAL! I am always attracted to book stores and libraries. I especially love little independent stores that have a great vibe and strong sense of community. However, I like them to be very clean and very organized. This place was a bit too dusty for my taste and I could not readily identify the order of the books. I did find one Civil War book that peaked my interest but I noticed that the cover was soiled and it seemed a bit dusty. The selling price was $12.95 but when I whipped out my phone to verify the price on Amazon, I realized that I could get the brand new book for less than half of the Judy Bugs price. When it comes to hardback and reference books, I simply prefer to purchase them new. This little store has great potential but needs a bit of TLC to create a truly warm and inviting ambiance. ***3/19/17 For $3 more than one dusty and soiled book at this store, I was to get the book I wanted and another one in the Time Life Collection in new and pristine condition. It pays to shop around and you should never have to settle for a dirty and neglected book. ***Books are special and deserve to be respected!

This is just a cool, kitschy, eclectic, steeped-in-local-flare-and-charm book shop. A Must Stop for anyone visiting Columbus.

Judy Bugs is a paradise among the other pointless businesses around the downtown area. A great selection and good atmosphere.

Found in my brief visit to downtown Columbus today, I am super interested in the books, CDs, and LPs in this fine store.

I was a constant here when I live in Columbus. One of the things I miss about that city.

Classic style to this book store, which adds a touch of class to the downtown Broadway scene.

Love this place. Small but PLENTY to check out and spend money on. I only wish it was open a little later because it is downtown.

This is the kind of comic store we need more of - the kind you're not scared to take a kid into. Will definitely be back to continue the stuff he got us started on.

But after has continued screw-ups that were always someone else's fault, and he's argumentative attitude, I went to him and said, Pat, I come to you because you are local and I've been coming here since 1977, and I don't mind spending more to give back to my community and I thought freind. I told him that I could buy from Midtown Comics in NY, have them pull my comics and get free shipping if I did the once a month shipping, with no taxes, and save 10% to 35% off a comic. Mind you I'm spending $250 to over $400+ a month with him at this time. He looked at me and said " You would be a fool not to buy from them"! I was dumbfounded!! But one thing I'm not is a fool especially when you show me how much you appreciate my business! So I started using Midtown for all my comic needs. Also he's a very smug person that's always complaining about something. And he's the type person that always has the right answer, and theirs no grey area or that he could be wrong. Definitely a personality disorder. I would never give him any of my business. Go to midtown or the new comic shop in town called Sentinel Comics!
