I've been visiting Moxie when I've been in town for a couple years now, but their new location is absolutely excellent. The displays are eye-catching, there's a ton of room for browsing, and their board game selection is superb. Walked in expecting to browse a bit and leave and I left with three games lol. It's super clean, brightly lit, there's music playing, and the staff member who helped me today (I'm kicking myself for not getting their name, they had long-hair?) was really conversational and helpful. And perhaps most importantly, they're being extremely responsible with COVID, with staff members wearing masks and declining to hold in-person events to ensure the safety of their customers. I really appreciate businesses that take a stand like this even if it means a hit to their profits, so I wholeheartedly recommend visiting and grabbing some gaming supplies next time you need them. We need to ensure that responsible game stores like Moxie succeed in these rough times because they're the places that build community and give us spaces to enjoy our hobby when pandemics aren't raging lol. My 73 year old husband to several large boxes of books to them. The staff was incredibly rude and refused to offer any kind of assistance. He was forced to bring in heavy boxes and unload them into their boxes and then have many refused and forced to rebox them and carry them out only to find out that they would notify at some point if they would take them. He came home dehydrated with chest pain. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE, STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE If I could give less than one star I would

But after has continued screw-ups that were always someone else's fault, and he's argumentative attitude, I went to him and said, Pat, I come to you because you are local and I've been coming here since 1977, and I don't mind spending more to give back to my community and I thought freind. I told him that I could buy from Midtown Comics in NY, have them pull my comics and get free shipping if I did the once a month shipping, with no taxes, and save 10% to 35% off a comic. Mind you I'm spending $250 to over $400+ a month with him at this time. He looked at me and said " You would be a fool not to buy from them"! I was dumbfounded!! But one thing I'm not is a fool especially when you show me how much you appreciate my business! So I started using Midtown for all my comic needs. Also he's a very smug person that's always complaining about something. And he's the type person that always has the right answer, and theirs no grey area or that he could be wrong. Definitely a personality disorder. I would never give him any of my business. Go to midtown or the new comic shop in town called Sentinel Comics!

(Although I don't believe in witchcraft or whatever other religions can be found in store, that's not what l'm upset about. Everyone has a right to believe whatever they choose.
