This is a cute store and is a popular place to get things monogrammed. However, each time I have been here I am never greeted nor helped, and end up so frustrated I leave without making a purchase. About two weeks ago I went in and three employees were eating lunch at the front counter. I said hello but they all just gave me the once over then resumed their lunch. I refuse to give money to a business that seems to detest it when a customer walks in . I will not be giving them another chance. I suggest you find another gift shop and avoid the lack of, or worse, surly service found at Dancing Needles. read more

With Thanksgiving being on 11/24/16 and my product deadline being on 11/28/16 I came to this business on Tuesday, 11/15/16 giving ample enough time for a 3 inch STICKER to be made (or so I thought). When I arrived, the very first thing I asked was if they could make this particular design that I needed. I showed a picture to the young lady at the front desk and she took a picture of my picture and said she would send it to the person but she said "I'm pretty sure we can do that". She then took us through the steps of choosing our font, our colors, our patterns, and our sizes. We left our phone numbers for pickup and was told we would be called when it would be ready but to expect it to be ready by Friday, 11/18/16 (which sounded reasonable). We paid before we left. Friday came along and neither my friend nor I received a phone call so I decided to call them. I was told it wasn't ready and that they would call us on Saturday. On Tuesday 11/22/16, it had been a week and I still had not heard from them and the sticker was still not ready after several calls back and forth. On Wednesday the 24th I was told it was ready and when I picked it up it was nothing like the image I showed and no one at the front tried to accommodate. When my friend when to pick hers up she was so mad at the product they tried to give her that she didn't take it. She went to Southern Belle Stitching and within A DAY they gave her exactly what we showed them and it was cheaper. Not only did Southern Belle Stitching exceed expectations but went out of their way to rush to get us the product we asked for due to our now shortened deadline and gave us a beautiful product. I have never known a business to pass off products like they did with the poor service they gave and not even compensate for the inconvenience. May I reiterate that this is a 3 inch sticker that took over a week and a half to be poorly put together that another company was able to perfectly give us within a day. I will never be using Dancing Needles service. I wrote this review about a sticker because I looked up reviews to see where to take my business and didn't see one on Dancing Needles so assumed they were great. I wish I had a review like this one so I wouldn't have waisted my time, or money on their awful business. Wish I could give zero stars. Possibly the rudest costumer service I have ever experienced. Over priced and cheap quality. I bought a key chain for my classroom set of keys and it was poorly made. Broke immediately when I tried to put it on my wrist. I went to take it back today, hoping to get it fixed or exchange it. After someone went in the back to see if she could fix it, 10 minutes later someone else finally came back out and asked, "Are you the one who wanted the refund?" No I wanted it fixed or another similar but apparently that wasn't an option. She offered me nothing. Not even to pick out a different one. Then I could not even get my cash refund of literally 10$ and some change. Because they didn't have it in the register...there was no apology to me at ALL! Not even a "Have a good day, bye!" I am really disgusted in the customer service and quality of work. Customer satisfaction should always be number one. I will never step foot back in this place. They should be ashamed of themselves. read more
