I have been to this thrift mall - and all the others in Columbus. My impression is, these thrift…read moremalls are loaded with a lot of stuff people don't want to sell. I suspect the prices are so high to cover the rent and realize a profit. Books are so WAY overpriced I can't believe it. For a buck I can load up on brand new books at Dollar Tree - often very good titles and authors. And Goodwill and Valley rescue Mission have great selections. If you're into history, a lot of books from the hoi polloi at Fort Benning end up in these places. Many excellent titles. Granted, for a buck old VHS tapes can be a steal and you can swoop on some excellent titles. Most of the tapes I get still play with no problem. But I never buy DVDs because they usually don't let you open and check for scratches or other defects. Yard sales are a much better option for those predisposed to going 'junking'...

They had lots of Christmas merchandise. Like all Dollar Tree locations, everything is $1 or less! What a bargain! You can find all types of things at Dollar Tree, but some great buys here are name-brand products, batteries, Bandaids, and poster boards. This location even has a freezer/refrigerated section! I came to this location to exchange a defective product I had purchased at another location for a new one, and the worker was very kind. She didn't even make me show a receipt or anything, just let me switch them out. Overall, I highly recommend this location of Dollar Tree.

I was getting off work later than I thought one day and wanted to make it before they closed so I called to check what time they were closing shop. The lady on the phone told me they were closing now but she'd keep it open for me, I insisted she didn't need to do so but she stayed open for me and helped me find what I was looking for. Phenix Serum and Western are good people.
