This is a quaint little neighborhood park with a lot of foot traffic on a weekend day, so I'm surprised to see only one other review for the place. I stopped in to get some fresh air and connect with Mama Earth while out talking with some various local business owners. It's small, lush, well-maintained, with a great play area if you have kids. I especially like the number of picnic tables and shady areas where it's easy to completely pass out due to too much relaxation. Not that that's a bad thing, I just don't want to be mistaken for a vagrant. Overall, this is a great spot for the family or a young lover's retreat.

Location is great, quiet, right on the levee. Nice to park and take a walk. Can also use the tennis courts.

Adj: very nice aquatic center for the community…read more We aren't close by here, so we've not been here but a few times, but we do like this aquatic center which is much more than a regular rec pool and much nicer than most city aquatic centers. It actually reminds me of Sunsplash, but not as fancy, understandably. Still, my kids and their friends have a great time here every time we come and swim and play, no matter that there's "only" a huge rec pool and 2 slides and a kiddie splash play structure, plus a lap pool that's not open for rec swim time. Still very fun all the same. Being end of the summer season, it was pretty empty on the day we came and we almost have the whole place to ourselves! With only a couple of weekends left that this place is open until next summer, I'm glad we decided to have fun here one last time. The pool is super clean (see pics), and lots of seating bc so few people are here, so all empty lounging chairs and "Roman" awning/tents. Plenty of picnic tables too, with umbrellas for shade. Overall, we really like this aquatic complex, I'm very thankful that the City of Sacramento built this nicer and still very new because it's really well-kept and maintained. It's great for the community and especially for kids and young adults!

Surprisingly nice aquatic center. We came on a weekend afternoon and it wasn't too busy at first…read more We got a tent to put our stuff and sit under. The kids ran off to go down the slides. They really enjoyed it. More people came as the day continued. There's lot of lifeguards and they pay close attention so it's good, but of course everyone should watch their kids also. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean, with stalls for changing and rinsing off too. The bathroom was in good shape and well maintained clean. There are plenty of in the sun lounging chairs as well as some under tents. There's the water slides as mentioned, as well as a big kids water features play structure. Of course, there's also a big rec pool that could hold a lot of people so everyone can spread out and swim. All in all, a pretty nice aquatic complex for recreational swim and for those who swim for exercise they also have a lap pool. Hours vary, always check the website and call to confirm.

I visited Asha Urban Baths in Sacramento, CA [2417 27th St] on Tuesday, 09/08/26, around 1:45 PM…read more I came here 15 minutes early, so that I was able to check in, fill out the necessary paperwork (waiver), and get an introductory feel for this establishment. The front office receptionist was sweet and provided a warm disposition. Next, I got settled in by providing my driver's license to exchange for a lock box with a key. Finally, I was directed to the space that had lockers, bathrooms, rooms for changing clothes, etc. I simply put my belongings up first, since I was informed I would start with my massage first. I opted for this package in advance: 50-Min Massage & 2-hour Bathhouse utilization. This offering was priced at $140.00. My appointment was set for 2:00 PM sharp. I went to the Green Room, where all massage reservations were held. The massage therapist that I selected online for the booking was Michael. Michael was incredibly wonderful. His techniques put my entire body in a state of rejuvenation. I almost wanted to fall asleep because the entire massage was so comforting and met expectations. Next, I proceeded to the entire bathhouse. The entire ambiance was filled with a lot of peace and tranquility. I was going between the warm pools and doing the cold plunges, as well as stepping into the steam room. There were moments when I also relaxed on the lounge chairs. The key was also to stay hydrated. Water was readily available with plastic cups, and guests were able to bring their own water bottles inside, too. The two hours went by so fast, because of how much I truly enjoyed this self-care day to myself. I'm so grateful that I discovered this business. I can say that I am completely in love with the services and offerings provided at Asha Urban Baths. The overall value was well worth it. Undoubtedly, I will be returning whenever I need another day of pure relaxation. I will be spreading the word!

I had a great experience at Asha. I went for the first time over Mother's Day weekend and I booked…read morethe "retreat yourself" package. It included 45 minutes in the salt room, a 50 minute massage, and time in the bath house. The salt room was great! The attendant provided thorough instructions and made a serious effort to make sure I was properly set up. They have great loungers, eye masks, ear plugs, and weighted blankets. The salt room is not a solo experience. There were 3 other customers in the salt room with me and unfortunately they were distracting. They got up multiple times to get water and walk around, which you're allowed to do but it brought me out of my relaxed state. It was slightly annoying but it's still an experience I would try again. Also want to acknowledge it isn't the fault of the workers but it made me realize your experience at Asha does depend on how other customers treat it. The massage was absolutely fabulous! My massage was with Michael, I did communicate that it was my first massage EVER and he was kind enough to thoroughly explain what to should expect. Absolutely no complaints at all! The bathhouse was cool. It felt a bit crowded, which I expect since it was Mother's Day weekend. I did not try out the different pools because it was very busy! A lot of people hanging around the edges of the pools and I didn't want to have to constantly ask people to get out of my way. The locker room was also very busy which I did expect because as I mentioned it was Mother's Day weekend. I do plan to go back to Asha, hopefully during the week or a weekend that doesn't land on a holiday.

We've been to Antelope Aquatic Center a few times now, and overall, we've really enjoyed it!…read more One thing I especially want to mention is the lifeguards. They're young, but they are SO attentive and constantly watching the pool. You can really tell they're well-trained and take their job seriously. As a parent, it makes you feel a lot more comfortable knowing they're actually paying attention and keeping an eye on everything. Another big plus is that you can have a birthday party or small celebration there. You can bring your own pizza, food, cake, etc., and enjoy your celebration without having to deal with extra fees or complicated rules about bringing your own food. That's honestly so convenient for kids' parties! The only thing I'd mention as a small downside is that the water in the kids' area can be pretty cold. Especially when it's not super hot outside, it's not very comfortable for kids to stay in the water for a long time. The water in the main lap pool, though, feels perfectly comfortable for swimming. Other than that, we've had a great experience and will definitely be back!
