This a small neighbour park with nice green grass and a Nice view overlooking the homes of El Dorado Hills and the lake. They have a small kiddie playground and a small picnic area , two clean public bathrooms, and small parking lot. It's pleasant, but I would not come out of way to visit here again . It's really mostly for the surrounding homes to enjoy . It took a total of less then two minutes to circle the park. We did sneak a walk in the gated neighborhood next to the park. Very beautiful homes here ! read more

Beautiful and well kept park with an excellent view of the city. Came here to watch fireworks on the 4th of July, but found out that the park closes at sunset and the closure was enforced by private security. Still got to see a wonderful view of the sunset though read more

Well, this beautiful park near a quiet, gated community confirms another reason why I want to move to EDH! Though the park itself was roped off with tape due to coronavirus, we were able to enjoy a nice walk through the park, into the neighborhood to a bike trail for a beautiful walk outside, social distancing style. I can't wait to go back to play with the kids - there is a baseball diamond, vast play structure, and fun climbing rocks. Your scenic view includes Folsom Lake in the rolling hills with a fresh breeze in your face - what a refresher in the era of quarantine! My only feedback is that I recommend placing garbage cans to keep the area clean, as I noticed there was a little bit of trash about because there is no where to toss it. Hopefully we will be back as a resident the next time! read more

Beautiful park with great/ amazing views... there are trees on the perimeter of the park but no tree in the main lawn, it's a decent lawn space but not huge, some benches, clean bathrooms, one set of playground with swings, not much paved sidewalks at the park but can walk in neighborhood. read more

Drove 9 extra minutes to come here because of the great reviews. Wasn't worth it. The play structure is mediocre and doesn't have anything for toddlers to do. The kids here...about 12 of them had no manners. (Vulgarity and throwing trash and knocking down the younger ones) And no bathrooms but one port-a-potty with urine all over the seat,walls and floors. Ew. You'd think for such a "nice" neighborhood, it would've been at least a 3 star experience. Nope. One star...and that's only bc it had a nice view from the soccer field. read more

Pros: Beautiful view, safe neighborhood, plenty of parking, unique, baseball diamond, soccer field, playground, plenty of swings, picnic tables, romantic, gorgeous houses. Cons: Size, distance away from Sacramento. We visited this park yesterday at 6:40 pm just in time for the sunset. I took a while getting there from Roseville (40 minutes) but it was well worth it. This park has on the the best views in the Sacramento region that I know of. On a clear day you can almost see downtown Sacramento, you can also see Folsom, Rancho Cordova, Roseville and Lincoln. This park has a lot of features, it has plenty of parking spots unless there is young girls soccer practice going on but even then there are a few spots free, it 'has a few picnic tables and a port-a-potty. The soccer field is very large and the baseball diamond is off to the side. There are 4 regular swings and 2 childrens swings as well as a medium sized playground. The most striking and unique things about the park are the surrounding houses and unique location. The houses surrounding the park are well in the 1 Million dollar range with one being estimated at 2.5 million currently. With this kind of neighborhood you can correctly assume it's a safe place with many unique sights and feels very romantic. This park is placed on top of a hill in this prestigious neighborhood. Overall this park is perfect for any activities one can imagine and very pretty, very highly recommended as one of the best parks around here. read more

Beautiful park. Playground is excellent and well maintained. Picnic area is covered and also well maintained. Why not 5 stars with all of this... because on the day we visited the outhouse toilet was literally overflowing and unusable. The soccer field was being mowed by 2 park maintenance workers on large ride on mowers at noon. It wasn't a problem at first... then we realized they were racing across the field and pushing the backstops around with the mowers. I'm not sure the lawn could even be mowed the way they were using the mowers. Definitely not safe or professional especially given it's a public park, in the middle of the day, in the summer time and full of kids! read more

I was lead here by a Yelp search while driving up 50 with no specific destination. I didn't know it was going to be around a bunch of homes. It goes without saying that they were huge and beautiful. This is El Dorado Hills. I came just to relax and clear my head. There were a few young teenagers there when I arrived. I decided to walk out toward the cliff-like area that I saw in the photo. Half my way there I noticed a teen couple on the grass making out, holding each other, all that young kids stuff. I was kind of disappointed because they were taking up the main vantage point. It would have been so, so weird to walk over there. So I sat on a bench and took in the sun for a little while. It was nice. read more

Perfect romantic spot since it's the best view around the Sacramento area that I know of, and would be the best park in all of Sacramento for what I go to parks for (which is just to lay on a blanket and read) except for that there is no real bathroom... just a pretty gross port-au-pottie with freshly made feces ready to greet you and your date, so unless if you're coming for a very short trip then that will ruin the comfort and romance. It's probably purposeful since the park is in a very wealthy neighborhood that can obviously afford placing a normal bathroom, so it's pretty clear they don't want outsiders sticking around for too long... when you're that rich these days you gotta be paranoid too. read more

This park is up on top of a hill in a quiet neighborhood. It has great views of Sacramento and Lake Folsom. Kids love the play area and the large soccer field. There is also a nice baseball field. read more
