    View from the park

Beautiful and well kept park with an excellent view of the city. Came here to watch fireworks on the 4th of July, but found out that the park closes at sunset and the closure was enforced by private security. Still got to see a wonderful view of the sunset though

Beautiful park with great/ amazing views... there are trees on the perimeter of the park but no tree in the main lawn, it's a decent lawn space but not huge, some benches, clean bathrooms, one set of playground with swings, not much paved sidewalks at the park but can walk in neighborhood.

This park is amazing n it has a great view

Pros: Beautiful view, safe neighborhood, plenty of parking, unique, baseball diamond, soccer field, playground, plenty of swings, picnic tables, romantic, gorgeous houses. Cons: Size, distance away from Sacramento. We visited this park yesterday at 6:40 pm just in time for the sunset. I took a while getting there from Roseville (40 minutes) but it was well worth it. This park has on the the best views in the Sacramento region that I know of. On a clear day you can almost see downtown Sacramento, you can also see Folsom, Rancho Cordova, Roseville and Lincoln. This park has a lot of features, it has plenty of parking spots unless there is young girls soccer practice going on but even then there are a few spots free, it 'has a few picnic tables and a port-a-potty. The soccer field is very large and the baseball diamond is off to the side. There are 4 regular swings and 2 childrens swings as well as a medium sized playground. The most striking and unique things about the park are the surrounding houses and unique location. The houses surrounding the park are well in the 1 Million dollar range with one being estimated at 2.5 million currently. With this kind of neighborhood you can correctly assume it's a safe place with many unique sights and feels very romantic. This park is placed on top of a hill in this prestigious neighborhood. Overall this park is perfect for any activities one can imagine and very pretty, very highly recommended as one of the best parks around here.

Nice El Dorado Hills Homes can be found with wonderful Views of Folsom Lake,& the Snow-capped Sierra Nevada Mountains #JillBerni

One of the greatest sites for a Picnic in the area, with an extraordinary view. You can have Pizza delivered there, while 100 of your closest friends play Softball or "Kick the Can"...Honk if you saw that episode too ! #JillBerni

It was beautiful but they close sooo early and it would be nice if they weren't so pushy and rude about leaving right after the sun sets.

Great park with every amenity. Parking is very close to bathroom and park. Shaded seat area. And breathtaking view.

This place is beautiful great for picnics and watching sunsets. It just needs more parking spots. The park closes at sundown.

Our favorite park! I would give it 5 stars if it had a normal bathroom instead of a stinky porta potty!

Hurray to the City of Folsom Parks and Rec for this great use of the 5 acres. Broder Park preserves the history of the land. A portion of the olive orchard has been kept. The olive trees are still thriving. New fruit trees have been added since the 2020 park opening. The city also planted new vines in the area where the vineyards use to be. Remnants of the original concrete base of the Broder house is preserved and makes for the border of the patch of real grass. The City did its best to salvage material from the Homestead to be used in the park. The park is elevated with gentle sloping walking paths. The elevation makes for some pretty nice views of the surrounding area. The park has walking paths, some or paved and others are sand packed. Both are ADA compliant. There are benches and information boards about the Broder Ranch and activities, the olive orchards and vineyards, and the way folks in this area received water in the late 1800. The info boards are scattered about the different areas. There is a pavilion with picnic benches that is right next to a play area with farm animal statues. The statues are meant to be climbed on. Above that area is a horseshoe pit. Bring your own horseshoes to toss about. The first time I explored this park was when I visited the neighboring park for a Little League game. Since then, I have been back several times minus the Little League games.
