Mano's Pizzeria wasn't even on my radar, and I eat a lot of pizza. My husband randomly came across…read moreit and suggested we try it. Queens can be very hit-or-miss when it comes to the perfect pie, which is unfortunate given that it's such a foodie paradise in terms of international cuisine. Mano's pizza definitely hits hard. It's pretty perfect on every level. The crust is really crispy and airy, and the sauce is really fresh and tasty without being too acidic. The toppings are well balanced (generous without going overboard). We ordered delivery, which often requires some reheating due to the perils of transit, but it wasn't required in this case. It arrived in perfect condition. This will be in my regular takeout rotation for the foreseeable future, and I definitely look forward to dining in person someday soon.

Cash is still preferred but they also accept credit cards and it looks like they also do online orders (pick up and delivery). We got their bbq chicken pie, cheese pie and 1 chicken caesar salad slice. The caesar salad slice was so heavy with the generous amount of toppings they put on it! Not to mention the crispy bottom. Bbq chicken pie has always been a family favorite with the smoky grilled chicken mixed with the sweet barbecue sauce flavor. It's a flavor that can't be beat. No matter what other pizza spots I try, Rosa's always reigns supreme.

Came here with my girlfriend for dinner and if you like average pizza and horrible customer service…read morethen this is the place for you! Nobody at the counter acknowledges you until you stand around for 5-10 minutes and there's no signs or indication of how the order process goes. The first guy that was working on my girlfriends order (she wanted anchovies on her slice) was decent but as he was working on that another staff member announced "if you haven't ordered yet I can take care of you" and seeing as I was waiting for the guy to finish my girlfriend's order I looked to him and before I could even get a sentence out he cut me off and said "if you have someone taking care of you already then he'll finish you're order". Mind you there isn't anyone in line behind us and if that's the case why'd you ask that question as if you were offering your services. I didn't think much of it and pretty much ignored it and waited for the first guy to take my order. 10 minutes later that same guy puts a tray in front of me of a plain and pepperoni slice (which happened to be what I ordered as well) and I went to reach for it and told me not to touch cause it wasn't my order in the most condescending and disrespectful way possible. I apologized to the young lady it belonged to as it was an honest mistake but there's a way to speak to people especially if you are serving the community. To top it off we asked for a to go box and the kid at the register gave us a brown paper bag. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and the whole staff needs to be sent to a customer service seminar.

For dessert, we sampled their unbelievable date cake which came in hot caramel sauce with vanilla gelato on the side! The servers were very sweet to us and made suggestions about the menu when asked. Our orders came quickly, too. The interior is beautiful and has a low-light, romantic, rustic ambiance. The restroom was also neat and clean. It was family friendly and still felt intimate. We will definitely be back to try more of their menu.

We were seated at a long high top table that gets shared with other parties but at the time of our reservation, it was just us. The specials were speaking to us. We had a bottle of white wine for the table and I later ordered myself a glass of one of their orange wines of the day, Sikele, which was great. We started off with the meatballs from the specials, which were served with tomato sauce and sea salt focaccia bread and the Tuscan Kale and Radicchio Caesar salad. The salad was delicious, as were the meatballs and sopping the sauce up with the bread. We also had the roasted shishito peppers off the specials menu which came with a za'atar ranch dip that I actually loved even though I'm not a ranch fan. We then shared the cheese pizza and the special of the day pizza which was smoked bacon, figs, crème fraiche, buffalo ricotta and crispy onions. Both were amazing but I could have done without the smoked bacon. The best part was DESSERT. Both from the specials menu, we had the Sticky Date Cake (butterscotch + fior di latte) and the Pistschio Tiramisu (served with fior de latte gelato, olive oil and salt). Opposite vibes but both incredible in their own ways. The date cake was dense and super sweet but in the best way. The pistachio tiramisu was crunchy but super light and fluffy. The waiter then brought out free amaretto shots to end the night, even bringing a nonalcoholic one for my friend who wasn't drinking. 10/10 across the board. The place has vibes, food and great service. Can't recommend it enough!

No customer should have to ask that their food be made fresh. The pizza was a reheated cardboard disc. After it happened the second time we have been ordering half one topping and half something else and specifically asking that it be made fresh because on one other occasion they just added cheese and then added topping and reheated it. Nice warm bread with a very flavorful olive oil started the meal followed by baked clams and buratta, baked clams were fresh and delicious, garlicy with a little red pepper bite, they use panko breadcrumbs and while they were definitely one of the the better baked clams ive had I think I prefer a more traditional breadcrumb. The buratta was fresh milky and creamy and paired perfectly with the camponta ( probably murdered the spelling on that). The oso bucco special was insanely good, fall off the bone tender, great sauce and the mashed potatoes with crispy panchetta were out of this world .
