Not to mention their failure to address my concerns during a moment of crisis, which caused me to fail a class that they claim I owe $822 for. My best advice, AVOID THIS SCHOOL!!!

Staff in the district office (Student Services / Special Ed.) play incessant games with parents and do everything they can to avoid granting an Individual Education Plan or any kind of help or hand up for a student that needs it despite evidence. Also, district staff are patronizing towards parents because they think that their M.Ed. or Ed.D. makes them know everything. What a waste of taxpayer money and a disgusting excuse for a school district.

To make a long story short, this is the type of experience you don't want to regret missing out on…read more I had gone into the Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy combo class with my instructor Ms. Hedrick and I am so happy that Providence Training Institute has an instructor that actually wants to see you succeed because what you'll learn about Ms. Hedrick is that she has a clear objective of what type of medical assistant needs to come out of you in order to feel successful and she will see what you don't see right away but always pushes us to feel confident in ourselves as well as in our skills. For example, she will work with you hands-on in order to evolve you from that shy girl who was too scared to do injections into actually getting excited when injections needed to be done. Overall, the staff was always so welcoming, it was a very good school to attend especially for the price of the program. P.S. Ms. Hedrick is the G.O.A.T. It'll come down to a point where you'll see it for yourself as her student but for now take my word on it and don't miss out on an amazing instructor because her teaching skills truly cannot be compared and you will notice just how much knowledge you walked away within just such little time being at the program.

Daniel Coady comes into our classroom almost every day and interrupts our lectures or lab time. I'm paying for my education, and I want to spend that time learning, not having class interrupted over and over. I understand that he's new, and he reminds us of that a lot. Everyone has to start somewhere, but I don't understand why our class has to be interrupted so often. Career Services should be helping students when it's actually time for externships, not taking away from our learning. On top of that, he comes across as rude and always seems upset or irritated. It makes students uncomfortable, and it doesn't create a positive environment. I wish I could work with someone else, but I don't think that would even be an option.

The lab activities don't ever match what the Electudes are; it's like learning two separate things constantly. I felt like I was often thrown into labs with little explanation of what I'm supposed to be doing. If you don't understand something, you can ask questions and there's *usually* no judgement from the instructors. However, I've literally had an instructor tell me to my face to figure things out on my own. Why am I paying for this certification if I'm not going to be taught something? Classes sometimes go without instructors for the full 10 week period. This school is a joke.

Mrs. Amber in particular has been phenomenal. She has been incredibly accommodating and understanding when it comes to fees, as well as my children's dietary restrictions.
