Service: Went there to talk to someone concerning paint selections and purchase of paints/supplies…read more There was another couple before me doing the same. We waited patiently for our turn (20 minutes). At the same time the couple was finishing up, a man carrying paint charts came in and went to the counter. The owners son, Joe jr. ( only one in store working at the time), started helping that person who just walked in instead of us, also customers, who were waiting. He mentioned he would only be a few minutes, but obviously it seemed it would be longer and that this customer may have been a friend or contractor. Joe jr. mentioned he would be with us soon, and I asked, "we were here before that person", and he ignored me and proceeded to help the other guy. Been going there for years, Joe Sr., always very professional. Maybe a sign should be placed somewhere in the store that states "ALL CUSTOMERS THAT NEED ASSISTANCE WITH PAINT, WILL BE WAITED ON AFTER OUR COUNTER AND REGULAR CUSTOMERS ARE TAKEN CARE OF" out of respect for the people waiting. Living in Hunterdon County for years, we just purchased one of the largest estates (homes) in the area with a stable and a six car detached garage. We are painting the entire home, inside and out, six car garage and stables. Unfortunate loss for "COLORZ IN CLINTON" in which, I am sure, a multi-thousand paint order$$$ would have been made. Sorry Joe Sr. Junior needs a course on proper CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I ask a lot of questions and they have been a great resource for me, taking the time to make suggestions and helping me become a better painter. I appreciate that. They only sell Benjamin Moore paint which is all I will use now anyway. I've tried everything else and there really is a noticeable difference in the appearance and coverage, even compared to the best Valspar paint Lowes has to offer. Also, have you ever tried asking someone a question at HD or L? I've wasted so much time at these places. Never again. I wish I came here first.

The Virgin Mary and Cove that I purchased from Paolini's Cast Stone definitely won't be blowing over in the wind. It's very well constructed and has a beautiful alabaster quality to it. I was told by superior staffer Kathy that no one seems to want just a concrete looking statue of Mary; they want the white or painted ones. Paolini's was recommended to me by a coworker but she didn't know the name of the facility except it being on Route 611. A quick check on Yelp found Paolini's and it was the only one on 611, but had other 5-star reviews. I took time off of work and made the trek along the long and winding river roads to get to a rather plain but large facility. Paolini's has been here in Easton for decades, and they have their own foundry to make just about everything in the yard. I was told the City just made a purchase of a couple dozen huge planters. Kathy also mentioned the yard was actually quite empty because in the days of COVID-19, they got wiped out with everyone being home doing gardening work and therefore buying statues. They'll replenish the statues in the coming months to prepare for next Spring. I wish I asked for a tour of the foundry. They had a lot of animals, Bigfoot, military, political, gnomes, bird baths, fountains, and so many other possibilities that you may want to put in your yard. They also can do commissions. The yard today was slush filled and my sneakers were not happy. But I'll give a shout out to the staffer who drove the loader to pick up the statues from the yard as he expertly maneuvered around the other statues not hitting any of them. If there were a loader rodeo I think he'd win. When they retrieved the statues, they loaded them in my car safely wrapped in burlap sacks. Prices I thought were reasonable. My 34" Virgin Mary and Cove to fit it in were each $180. Soon enough I'll post a picture once it's in its place. Paolini's is not a store I'd be coming to often, but if I ever have another need for concrete statues, I'm definitely coming back here. Customer service was excellent.

I love that they have small trinkets (frogs, etc) for $1 which I'm sure they make with leftover cement but are fun to throw into your beds at home.

I had to make a trip to this store for my wife. She and my daughter are immunocompromised, so I'm…read morethe only one who's able to leave the house for any kind of supply run, during this outbreak. The only reason we chose this location was because they offered "no-contact, curbside pickup". No need to exit my car or interact directly with anyone? Perfect! Now I won't have to strip before entering my house, wash all my clothes and shower as soon as I walk in the door. Unfortunately my experience did not go as advertised. I pulled up, called the number and told them I was there for a pickup. A man came outside to meet me. As I came around to open my trunk, he asked if I had any paperwork for my order. I held up my confirmation email, which included payment information and clearly stated the order had been paid for, and my wife's drivers license (the order was in her name). He took a look at them, thankfully without touching them, and then said "I'm gonna have to meet you out back, but first you have to go inside and see her". Go inside? Seriously? The whole point of this was to be able to remain outside of the building. I didn't bring gloves because I didn't expect to have to leave my car (won't make that mistake again). Whatever, I'll do my best to not touch anything, I guess. Welp, that lasted about 30 seconds. Once I made it inside, the woman behind the counter (who was wearing cat ears, for some reason) requested to see the same documentation I had just shown the man outside, only this time she took them from me. She was not wearing any gloves. Then she had me sign a receipt for my order, which I remind you was already paid for. Once I got back outside, I sanitized my hands and got in my car. Could have been worse, at least now I can go get my car loaded and head home. When I pulled around back, the totally able-bodied man I'd spoken to earlier was not the one handling the pickup orders. Instead, a guy who appeared to be in his 60's (so already in the high risk bracket) was helping another customer. Actually he was watching as said customer loaded a bunch of stuff into his own car. Confused, I waited until he came to my car. He checked my order and reluctantly said "I'm gonna need a hand, I've only got one good shoulder". This poor guy was having to handle all of the day's orders, by himself, with an injury that prevented him from properly doing his job. So what did I have to do? Get out of my car. Re-Enter the building. Load my items into a cart myself. Pull the cart back outside and, finally, load everything in myself. I was furious, but not at him. It wasn't his fault his employers stuck him in that position with no help. At one point I heard the guy mutter "this is fucked up" under his mask. He's absolutely right. It was fucked up. He apologized to me as I went to leave. I said "no worries, man, stay safe". It wasn't him who needed to apologize for this. His boss, who I'm fairy certain is Catwoman from upstairs, owes him and her customers the apology. This place advertised NO-CONTACT CURBSIDE PICKUP, instead I got "Frequent-contact, in-store pickup while we watch". That's like FedEx saying "FREE SHIPPING, ONLY $9.99!". The process was redundant, frustrating and unnecessarily complicated. All they had to do was look at my order, send me around back and have an able-bodied employee there, ready to help. I realize everyone is having a tough time right now, but when something is advertised as being almost entirely safe and turns into something a CDC agent would cringe at, I think it's safe to say it's gone to another level. Well at least now I'm SUPER clean, since I've had two showers today. Silver linings, right?
