LV Home & Garden Center Maybe you remember seeing "Cheers",…read morethe place where everyone knows your name. Well that came to mind for me this Thursday, when I stopped by the Lehigh Valley Home & Garden Center. My wife and I have been doing business there for over 20 years, it's always our 1st stop for gardening supplies, plants and flowers. As with most non-professionals, most of our purchases have been Spring to Early summer. During those timeframes, the staff has always been overly helpful and friendly. They listened to us carefuly, suggested products that would sute us best, even special ordered some from their Nursery for us when we were looking for something special. This past week I stopped by to get a replacemnt hanging basket and I was sure they would have a few when no one else had any. I was greeted with a warm welcome and a bit of humor. When I mentioned to one of the staff what I was looking for she immediately said "Oh! you always get the _____ in ____ for your hanging baskets - she was spot on and pointed a few out and as my hands were full with our new puppy "Tiffany", who the staff seemed to like more than me (kidding), she carried my collection to my car. This may not mean a lot to most, but it showed me once again the level of customer supposrt and kindness that has always been present to my wife and myself by the staff and management of the Lehigh Valley Home and Garden Center - they get a 5 out of 5 from these very happy clients. In spite of the fact that she said I'd get a 50% discount, it still would have been overpriced. They kept repeating to look at my invoice that tells me the products are natural with imperfections. Imperfections are one thing but flaws and failure are another. To sell a defective product is not right. I expect a replacement for the failed pieces but of course, they hung up on me and never addressed my grievance.
