I've been trying (with other companies) to get my windows cleaned for about 2 weeks now. I was feeling pretty disheartened with the lack of professionalism and urgency, so I consulted with my favorite advisor (the Internet) and found The Gleam Team here on Yelp. 1. A real human answered the phone the first time I called (I don't really love artificial humans answering calls); 2. Another (separate) human showed up to my house THE SAME DAY (today) to check it out and write me an estimate; 3. Unlike other companies the estimate I received was a beautiful and legible TYPED UP PDF SENT VIA EMAIL - people... do you know how amazing that is? If you could see the handwritten gibberish that I've been left with, you'd understand. 4. Their prices are competitive, and while you're paying a few dollars more (really not much) you're getting a fantastic value from a company that shows up and does what they say they're going to do. The part that really blew me away was when the estimator heard how frustrated I was (with the other companies) and said he wanted to try and get a crew out to my house in 2 days to do the work. When the dispatcher informed him that a crew wasn't available he looked at me and said "don't worry, I'll be here on Saturday and I'll do it myself." I felt bad (who likes working on the weekend?) so I asked if he would at least get a bonus or some kind of compensation for the additional work that's surely above and beyond his normal line of work. THAT'S WHEN HE TOLD ME HE'S THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY. Friends. I couldn't. I still can't. I'm so excited to have found this company. This will be my go-to window cleaning (and pressure washing, and gutter cleaning) vendor from here on out. This is a quality company with quality people at the helm. I contacted Gleam Team for Pressure Washing job of driveway, sidewalk, curb, porch area, pavers, small patio slab, and foundation areas needing cleaning. Larry was very cordial and prompt in scheduling for next day. Employee Joe Herrera was polite and professional discussing work to be performed. I called Gleam Team for a quote to power wash my driveway, sidewalks and a path to our back yard. I received a call back within several hours, walked through the service expectations and the price. We had a bit of a disconnect on the path leading to my back yard as that work was not performed. However, upon clarifying what I needed, and understanding that I did not communicate clearly, they came back and completed the job. Amazing service and we were extremely pleased with the results. *Everyone* messes up once in awhile. What really sets companies and leaders apart is how they face mistakes and handle them. Gleam Team passed this test with flying colors. We hired them to clean our gutters and pressure wash the front and back, and especially asked if they could remove oil stains on the driveway. They showed up quickly and were pleasant to work with. They went the extra mile and did some extra work that we had not requested. Very nice. Their prices were literally half those of the next highest rated competitor. (Nearly all of their 400 ratings are in a non-Yelp platform). On inspection, however, they had missed a few spots on the back, accidentally broke a slat in a (very old) fence gate with their hose, and the oil stains were pretty much just as obvious. The stains were lighter but so was the driveway, so it was basically a wash, no pun intended. These were very old oil stains, and they were very resistant to treatment. When I reached out by text about the issues, they immediately sent a team to fix missing spots and try to improve the driveway. Another team came out to repair the fence slat and did it quickly and efficiently. Not much improvement on the driveway though. I reached out to my contact, and he was not defensive at all. How refreshing! He readily admitted that he said he thought he could greatly improve the appearance, so he happily adjusted the invoice. No fight, no argument, just gracious professionalism. We called them later to do our windows. :-) You can trust these guys. read more

Cameron and Ben of the Gleam Team came to wash the insides and outsides of our windows today. They did an incredible job on our windows which hasn't been washed in years. The house is bright. The two men wore masks, and were so polite and nice. I wouldn't hesitate to ask them back again when I have a need.
