I requested a 2.2 tow to the Nissan dealership. But the driver decided to take my car to his tow yard, 40 minutes north. When I attempted to get my car back, he initially told me that his shop was closed for the day. During this same conversation, he inadvertently admitted his shop was not closed.
He then moved my car from Sherman Oaks to Van Nuys, as he provided a lame excuse. It took several days to get my car back, and I had pay him $545, in cash, not $140. He threatened to impound my car, with no justification to do so. He tried to buy it from me. And when that coupled with a great deal of trash talk didn't work, he eventually delivered it where I later asked for it to be delivered. And this made a heck of a bad introduction to the mechanics.
He also refused to give me a receipt unless I give him the VIN and tag numbers. I refused. However, his statements in a text substantiate the what I paid, and the danger that he put me in.
Further, by refusing to take my car to where I initially requested him to take it, he committed a felony. read more
