I was looking for something to do, and I found this potter painting shop! It was a relaxing way to get out my creative energy! When I walked in, they showed me where to get the pottery, how to use the glaze paint, and an instruction card with how to paint it! I chose a mug, and painted potted plants all along the bottom. I may not be a great or even good artist, but it was nice to try something new! You pay for the time and the piece, so prices will vary and they are labeled under the pottery pieces. I painted a regular mug, and for spending an hour and half, I only paid less than $30. Highly recommend! read more

We had a great time with our first visit to Glazed Expressions. I wasn't prepared with the amount of choices we would have to make. The examples they have out are very inspiring. Staff was very helpful. I would love to come back with kids so I can take my time and let my creative side out. My girls are 6 and 12 and they both had a great time even though their attentions spans are complete different. Will decide bring them back but one at a time so they both can spend the right amount of time On their projects. We are excited to pick our items up this week. read more

I've been to several places like this, and this one is my favorite. The space is very nice, clean and open. There is an area to paint pre-fired ceramics, an area to make candles, soap, and also a canvas painting area. I've only done the pottery painting thus far, and it was a really pleasant experience. They have so many nice glazes, brushes, plenty of tape sizes, markers, wax resist, sponges, stencils and stamps, there really is something for everyone, and people in all skill levels can come here and make something cool. My little girls had a great time. The concept of glaze colors turning out so differently after getting fired in a kiln is something that they found fascinating. The setup and variety contributed to them paying close attention to what they were doing, working slowly, and really considering their colors. I think a lot of parents would appreciate seeing their kids get into a groove like this, even if just for an hour or two. It is possible here! This is a great space to make a nice gift for someone if you are looking for something with a personalized touch. read more

We decided to do candles and will be going back some time to paint pottery. They had a nice selection of candle shapes and embellishments for the candles. Update: The last time I was here I brought our niece and painted pottery. We had a blast and it kept her attention. She got to pick her piece, pick her colors and paint away. All the staff was super helpful and they fired the piece perfectly. This time I am here for a grand re-opening. They have expanded almost twice the size they were before. The floor plan is awesome and the place feels huge! From outside you can see all the areas are brightly lit and soon to be full of people. As you walk in they have the ceramic painting to your left and the check in counter straight ahead. To your right they have so much more. There is a private party room tucked away among the candle creations. You can make your own candles with smells all on display. You can also make your own glass decoration or piece. These will be melted down create your own masterpiece. Back near the back is where you can wrap your finished masterpiece. They have a beautiful table set up where you grab your finished after and wrap it for a present. In the far right is the canvas painting room. HUGE! Here you can have sip and paint parties. An instructor can walk you through how to paint. They also now have wood shapes you can paint as well. I am very excited on the growth of this locally owned business. They will being in the crowd to fill the establishment and I think this all looks great. I'll be bringing my niece back again soon. read more

I stopped in with a few girlfriends for a girl's night. We love that we can BYOB, which makes it really enjoyable to just hang out and take your time painting. They have a LOT of ceramics to choose from, so if you have a hard time making up your mind, go in with a game plan! I decided to do a simple vase today, and I had a lot of time mixing paints and creating designs. I think the prices are good for what you get, and it's been an enjoyable experience both times I have gone. It would be nice to see some new color options in their paints, and some other painting tools like thicker tape, etc. But overall, this is a great place for adults young and old, as well as children! read more

Glazed Expressions is a place that is great to go to if you are looking for a winter activity. They have pottery painting, canvas painting, candle making and glass works. I have done it all over time. They also have a once a month Naughty Pottery Night. An adults only event. There are a couple party rooms for private parties. There are plentiful supplies to create your work of art. We had a party of 18 adults compromised of both men and women. I can honestly say that everyone had a great time. You are able to bring in treats and booze too. On those cold days and nights this is the place to get your creativity on! read more

I had the loveliest time at Glazed Expressions! It's not necessarily the most inexpensive option, especially if you are paying for kids also, but if you have about $40 to spend on painting for a few hours it's a great time! There is an $8 studio charge, and then you pay per piece of pottery that you paint. Most are around $25-$35. You can also design your own candle - choose your scent, shape, colors, etc. Those are also between $25-$40 each. They offer the painting classes, which looked great. I think the best part of this company is the staff - young, helpful, and enthusiastic! And very professional! Overall, it has such a great ambiance. It's a very positive, friendly place which is good for groups, dates, family outings. Really they have something for everyone. I know that the company often runs coupons on Groupon or similar sites - so check those out for a good deal. They do allow you to BYOB which is fun! Went here with my brother for a relaxing day out. We both loved it. It is a nice way to spend quality time and to do something that is interactive. We spend 1.5 hours deciding which ceramic piece we wanted & to create our master piece. The employees were super helpful with choosing the paints and how to make different designs with the tools they had available. I was very sick one weekend and my husband decided to take our daughter to paint, since I had told her we would go before I got sick. My husband had never been before and once they returned to my surprise my husband was annoyed at the lack of help offered by staff on how things worked. He was annoyed by the fact no one offered to help or educate him on the process, didn't come and check on their table but did everyone else. We had spoken to the staff on the phone several times checking to see if we needed to make reservations and checking on hours. We got to the location an hour and ten minutes before closing. In our party there were only five people and we had all been there before. The staff would not let us create anything, because we did not have enough time. I don't normally write reviews, but I feel that the staff should have told us on the phone that we could not create anything past a certain point. The staff also made it sound as if we had a reservation we would have been able to create. I am very disappointed because I had hear such great reviews. read more

I heard about Naughty Pottery Night through some ladies at work. They had an awesome time so I made a mental note to check it out. Fast forward one month, this is the festivity I chose for my birthday celebration. There's a $10 reservation fee and you can make a group name for friends to register under so they sit your group together. I liked coming in and having everything set up for the group. As previously mentioned, there was a table full of pizza and cookies. I didn't read or see anything about them ordering pizza so I told my girls to bring snacks and I actually brought my own pizza. The pizza part should be added to the flier and or registration part so customers know (maybe it has been). It's BYOB, which is awesome. The girls working this last Friday were great. The lead facilitator did an awesome job. I also love that they crank up the tunes while we paint and drink the night away. I chose the wine chalice with an F bomb. The cost for that is $24. They have soooo many options for pieces though. We had quite a few women switch out from their original pieces. I liked the incorporation of Plinko and the raffle. Whoever put this event together did a really great job :) Overall, the ladies and I had a great time. I would highly recommend this event for a birthday party, bachelorette party, or just to get the girls together. Lots of fun! read more

Glazed expressions was lots of fun. I went there with my family and we had a blast. We also went to a painting class which the teacher could have been more enthusiastic.
