Glaze & Phase is a cute pottery shop tucked away in a quiet strip mall in Englewood. You should run here immediately, especially since the holiday pottery is being put out now! I went for my second time this weekend. My first time was to do a fun Halloween decoration and it came out so cute! I knew I needed to go back and make something for the holidays. They have a great selection of pottery paints too so you can really let your artistic creativity run rampant. The pieces come in a range of prices too, so you can find things from like $15 through $60 depending on the sizes of the piece. I made a large lamp and it was $55. My cute little reindeer bowl was around $20. It's a really fun thing to do with friends too. I have come here for Denver Book Swap too and know they can accommodate those larger events too since they have a backroom with a table. The staff is really helpful and lovely too! Definitely add it to your list!

Finally convinced my husband to paint pottery with me and we had such a blast at Glaze & Phase. I love the selection of pottery they have- everything is so cute, it's hard not want to paint everything. Christina and everyone else here are so nice and walked us through the process. There aren't any studio or paint fees which is an added bonus. My husband doesn't flex his creative muscles very often but even he had to admit he enjoyed our time and he was really proud of his masterpiece in the end. I've since been back to paint with my sister and would highly recommend to anyone else!

    Great pricing!!

I cannot say enough good things! Glaze and Phase is the life's work of shop owner and single employee, Christina! She is so excited to start you on your paint journey and easy to chat with. As a matter of fact, she has a knack for pulling folks from different tables into one conversation--this definitely adds to the coziness! What is most incredible about Glaze and Phase is the no studio fee! That is HUGE!! Also, paints are FREE! Literally all you pay for is your piece, and everything was so reasonably priced. You could walk out with your very own hand painted salad plate for 20 bucks or less! Right now she's running a five day turnaround, I don't even know how she does it! One more big thing, she runs WEEKLY deals! Def check their website first, and check in on Yelp for 10% off your order! Did I also mention the period poverty donation box? Ya, I'll be bringing some to pick up my piece for sure. The process itself is simple, walk ins welcome! Pick your piece, familiarize yourself with the process/paint brushes, then pick your paints! Christina has all the trinkets to make any pattern you could thing of, and she was more than happy to help each person out. She definitely is the expert, don't be shy if you'd like some help!

Came to Glaze and Phase for the first time today and really enjoyed it. There are so many great pieces to choose from and tons of amazing colors as well. I was really impressed by the speciality paints they have too. The staff were all very friendly and informative. I believe they even have a loyalty program with purchases, which is a nice touch. The inside is cute and comfortable and on top, there's tons of parking! I will definitely be back soon!

This place is the absolute cutest place EVER! My daughter brought me here for a Mother's Day gift. We had so much fun. And, I'll definitely be back! The owner is the sweetest, cutest person, and I love all the stuff she buys for you to paint. Everything was so adorable! My daughter and I had a difficult time picking out what we wanted to paint. I wanted one of each! Two thumbs up to this place, and I'll definitely be back to check more goodies off my list. Also, it is so reasonable priced and do much fun to create your own stuff. They also, so ladies night on Thursday's and have other offers throughout the week!

My daughter and I have painted here a couple of times. Great selection of options to paint, lots of brushes and paints. Also, very nice staff and not overpriced. We will come back again! Super fun experience.

Such a cute spot! I brought my friend in for some painting for her birthday. We were helped by Tessa who was absolutely amazing. There is a great selection of ceramics for painting and several seasonal ones as well. The paint options are fabulous and there are plenty of examples showing exactly what each color would look like after firing. I spent ~$30 in total for the two pieces which I would say was worth it! In case you've never painted ceramics at a shop before, you pay for your piece and the price includes use of all the paint, brushes, and firing of your piece when you're finished! Our pieces were ready for pick up 3 days later. Right off the bat, you can tell a lot of thought and care is put into this place. I noticed Tessa in the phone with the owner several times while we were painting and it was clear that the owner of the shop cares about this place. We came near the end of September and there was a Halloween trivia event being advertised which is so cute and unique! I've been to Color Me Mine before, and I think I prefer Glaze and Phase because of the ambiance and personality. I recommend!

Absolutely LOVE this new owner Christina!! Such an upbeat and enjoyable environment to be in. She is always caring and making sure you're doing okay. Always willing to lend a hand. Very helpful in describing the pros and cons of color, technique, or tools. Love this place. Whether you go alone or take a group in for a party--- it's the place to be!!

We were looking for a new place to paint pottery and loved our first trip to Glaze & Phase at Broadway & Belleview. They've only been open for about a year and a half. The owner, Christina, is absolutely lovely. Highly recommend!

    Christmas decoration

Visited Glaze and Phase twice so far. Wide and fun selection of items to paint. Lots and lots of paint options and paint brush types to choose from. The venue is very nicely decorated, family friendly, and large enough for group activities, work outings etc... I'm always amazed with how differently painted items look after they have been fired. Colors are so vibrant. They make great deco pieces for the house, or neat, personalized gifts for friends and family. I had never gotten into this type of activity before. I'm glad I have now. It's surprisingly therapeutic and relaxing! Finally, the owners at G&P are super friendly and really helpful. I definitely recommend this venue.

    The finished piece after firing.

Very friendly staff and a decent selection of bisque to choose from. My daughter and I have been here several times over the last few months and plan on returning soon.
