We've hired Bluffton Electric for two jobs and they were phenomenal with both…read more First, we wanted to switch our outdated light fixtures with LED recessed lighting. They came by, provided a quote that was very competitive with the other quotes we received, and they got us on their books for the next week. The lights are high quality, they were installed quickly, and they cleaned up after themselves extremely well. Additionally, every staff member we spoke to was nice and helpful! Second, we had an electrical issue which required an electrician and Palmetto Electric to come out. The issue left over half of our home without power. I called Bluffton Electric and explained the issue, I let them know that we purchased the needed part (Palmetto Electric told us what we needed to purchase) and they told me they would do their best to help us. The next day which was a Saturday/Valentine's Day they sent out an electrician and communicated to get Palmetto Electric out there at the same time. There was an additional fee, but I felt it was fair and I just appreciated that someone came out. Overall, I feel like Bluffton Electric is professional, reasonably priced, and they provide high quality services.

DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANY SERVICE…read more We came to A 5 handyman services because we have a home that we rent out in Port Royal that needed the floor to be repaired. It was popping up on a small. He came in to "fix" the issue, only to leave it with more floorboards that were popping up, not installed correctly, and with water still coming through the door. I reached out to him on the same day to see if he can fix it, and he said that he would. HE NEVER CAME TO FIX THE ISSUE! I sent that message on the 26th of June, and reached out 2 weeks later because he never responded on the exact date of him coming to fix it. He said he needed to get more of the floorboard and reached out to whoever to see if they had more, but said he would come back the next day to fix it. He never showed up. He would leave us on read and not respond for weeks on end for trying to fix what he messed up. We said that if he didn't come, we'd want a refund, and he assured us that on the 7th of August ( it's been almost 2 months now), that he would come to fix it. We sent a message again to confirm when he was coming and he for sure said on the 7th of August. The 7th of August come and he texts that day saying he can't come again because he has jury duty. He could've told us the day before but didn't! He said he would come on the next day, August 8. August 8 comes and guess what, he didn't come! Court ran over so he couldn't. It has been excuse after excuse with this guy. We told him that we're done. We want a refund because he didn't fix the problem. He also put on our invoice that he bought 2 boxes of the laminate floor, but came to the house with no boxes and used what we had left from installing the floor in the first place. How do we get charged for something he never bought? And if he never bought it, why take the project saying you can fix the problem! I'm telling you, this company is a joke. He ruined our floor, with numerous individuals saying that it looked like he had no idea what he was doing after looking at the finished product. But he won't give a refund back, only for "labor costs" that were never on the invoice from the get go. Save your money, people, because this company will steal it with the quickness and give every excuse to not get it back. If you're in Port Royal, South Carolina, active duty or civilian, stay away.

This required working in the attic in July. I called several companies in Savannah that told me either they did not do that service, or since the appointment had to be very early for the safety of their workers, their soonest availability was too far off than I hoped. Joyner was able to come out sooner than everyone else could and they worked with my schedule to arrange a 6 AM appointment. They were very good about asking me questions so they knew exactly what I needed. They even asked what color my wall plate was so the others would match. The workers were on time, friendly, and very efficient. They said the cable company might have to come out, but then they worked their magic so I was fully hooked up for cable and internet before they left. This was on the morning of my moving day and made my life a whole lot easier, so I was very happy and grateful. I feel like they went out of their way to help me, but I think they are just that great by default. They did a fantastic job and exceeded my expectations and I will certainly call them next time I need their services.
