Last summer, we did end up hiring Albert to fix a leak coming from our bathroom. He seemed very…read morenice on the phone and was very responsive into action. He diagnosed the leak to be coming from the shower pan. As a result, we paid him roughly $11k to completely redo the shower and also remove the shower block windows that appeared to be a secondary leak source discovered after. As we were dealing with the issue remotely, he sent plenty of progress photos and cleaned up after the project well. The problem initially seemed fixed. Unfortunately, the identical leak started again within a year, and we scheduled a date for him to check on the shower but he never made it. We rescheduled for another date but he also failed to show up for that and has ignored our messages to remediate the issue. The problem was either misdiagnosed or incorrectly remediated. Either way, we will have to find another contractor to fix what Albert didn't. Two stars rather than one as he was very pleasant and responsive during the initial project.

Jason and his crew executed with perfection. He and his crew finished ahead of schedule. The worksite was always clean. The fit and finish were "on point.". I recommend this business. EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS--AND EVERY TIME…read more Let me start out by saying that my expectations are low here on Hilton Head. That's not to diminish the aforementioned statement in any way, but I've lived in 8 states and have never been in a place so "infested" by semi-con artist contractors as here. If anything, at a minimum, they gouge customers as if we are all multi-millionaires. I digress. Rob is as obsessed with perfection as any contractor I've ever worked with. He recently completed his third project for me--this time, a more serious remodel that included adding a 1/2 bathroom and renovating an office to include built-in bookshelves. "Handyman" is a good word for him, as he is skilled in a multitude of fields to include: electrical, general construction, plumbing, carpentry, flooring installation, and the lost art of drywall taping. As part of this project included all of the above. It is RARE for a contractor to be "bothered" by some slight imperfection rather than the homeowner, but that has been the case all along. He is honest (so much so, I've left the house to him alone on many occasions), fairly accurate in his estimates, and detailed oriented. Because of his diverse background (that to include real estate), he has an "eye" for what "flows" during a remodel and what does not. Unless his schedule conflicts greatly with my next or any future project, I will use him for all of the above specialties exclusively. Don't waste your time hunting down a rare find on Hilton Head. While I am sure there are a few, it will take excessive time to find them out.
