The third person was also very nice but he had a soft voice and I don't hear well so it was difficult. It turned out his questions were very basic and a person who could hear normally would have taken two minutes so I can't really blame him for anything. They were able to give me a diagnosis that will help my primary care physician get me scheduled for cataract surgery I expect to be back for new glasses after surgery and I recommend them

Just two hours later, I returned to the store to exchange them for a more suitable pair. After wearing the second pair for two weeks, I realized I needed prescription sunglasses. On September 16th, I returned to the store and spoke with an employee named Armando. He informed me that because I had already exchanged the first pair, I was not eligible for a refund, only store credit. This directly contradicted what was stated on my receipt, which clearly outlined a 30-day refund policy. When it became clear that Armando wasn't willing to help, I asked to speak to the manager, Eric, and was told he would be in the store on September 17th. I arrived at the store at 10 AM on the 17th, only to be told that Eric wouldn't be in until 11 AM. I waited an hour, returned at 11 AM, and stayed until 11:30, but Eric still hadn't shown up. After wasting over an hour and a half of my time, I left frustrated and disappointed. I won't be shopping at Sunglass Hut again, and I strongly urge others to avoid this location. There are plenty of reputable sunglasses retailers in Southern California, and I will be taking my business elsewhere. While I can afford to keep these sunglasses or even gift them to someone, it was the blatant disregard for their own return policy and Armando's unprofessional behavior that ruined my shopping experience at Sunglass Hut.

I came close to the evening time and they were not busy at all. I was the only customer there that day. Abbey was the person helping me and let me shop in peace. I mostly checked out the Oakley frames area and found the rafter. Abbey was able to built up a quote for me and I was surprise with the overall price even with the holiday deals. Adding things like blue light protection, anti scratch, the other features just keep making the cost go up. The eye exam cost here is pretty high also so just be aware. The customer service was great here but the value is on the higher end.

I also decided to do the retina photo thing where they'll let you know the health of your eyes. The price is very reasonable which is why I came here. I wasn't planning on getting my frame or lenses here but just wanted to do my eye exam. I saw that this Costco Optical carries some Oakley frame which is the only brand I wear.

I am free from being chained to wearing daily glasses after having cataract surgery! It's been incredibly liberating for me after over 50 years in spectacles. What I do have now are a custom pair of reading glasses for low light conditions, like after-dark reading or watching videos on my phone. My optometrist created the prescription since my implant lenses are middle-to-far distance in one eye and close-to-middle in the other. Thus, off the shelf reading glasses don't work for me. My Costco pair works great! I usually don't need reading glasses when it's daylight, so I only use this pair after dark. I also have a special pair for night driving, although I don't always even have to wear them. When my eyes are tired from being on the computer too many hours, I can feel the need for those driving glasses. What's fun for me is that I can now buy just regular sunglasses; no prescription sunnies needed anymore. Even one pair of those I ordered from Costco Vision Center - I liked the lightweight frames and had them custom-made with sunglass lenses instead of corrective vision lenses. Such a deal for about $70 inclusive of frames and lenses! (Have you been to Sunglass Hut or the like for nice sunglasses lately? They are very pricey!) The staff members at this location have always been helpful and kind. The hardest part about coming here is that they are popular and sometimes there's a wait to be assisted. Otherwise, the prices are terrific and fulfillment goes pretty quickly.

Apparently the styles here are different from the store on Larchmont, according to the salesperson they change depending on the location of the store. The staff are both super friendly and are more than willing to help or answer any questions you might have. My wife purchased a much needed eyeglass case for shades at a reasonable price. The average price for shades was around $50, which isn't bad for a unique style.

I initially visited the store to have my glasses repaired. During my first visit, associates Leilani and Daisy assisted me by ordering replacement side pieces for my glasses. They were both extremely kind, professional, and took the time to listen to my frustrations. They validated my concerns and ordered the replacement at no charge, clearly informing me that the parts would be provided at no cost. After not receiving another call, I followed up with the store and spoke with the assistant store manager (male), who told me the parts had again been returned and needed to be reordered. While I was there, I clarified once again that I had been told by Leilani and Daisy that there would be no charge, and he confirmed that the parts would be free. I was so appreciative at the time that I even gave him a Stanley Cup as a thank-you. Unfortunately, I was not notified when the parts arrived the second time either. I called the store again, and the assistant store manager informed me that the parts were in and that he would be available that day or the next to install them. I confirmed one more time that there would be no charge, and he said yes. When I came in, the store manager Lisa installed the parts but then informed me I would be charged over $100. I explained that I had been told by 3 different associates and one being the assistant store manager that there would be no charge. After her contacting the assistant store manager, he stated that he only said the "repair" was free, not the parts which was not what had been communicated to me. This was frustrating and confusing, especially since I had made multiple trips and had been consistently told otherwise. That said, I want to sincerely commend the store manager Lisa. Lisa listened patiently, considered the full context, and ultimately honored what I had been told by her team. Lisa handled a difficult situation with professionalism, kindness, and understanding, and she resolved the issue by providing the replacement parts at no charge. I truly appreciated that she believed me and acknowledged that the miscommunication was not my fault. Despite the missteps along the way, the store manager's handling of the situation is the reason for this positive review. Thank you Lisa for making it right!!
