If you love coffee that actually tastes like coffee (and not liquid sugar), this is your place. My Oat Milk Honey latte was delicious, and my husband's extra strong 4 shot sugar-free latte did exactly what it needed to do for the long drive ahead. The barista who assisted us was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home the second we walked in. The inside is so cozy and peaceful that we decided to stretch our legs and enjoy our drinks at the table rather than rushing back to the car. The shop has some breakfast and lunch offerings as well as a few different baked goods. They also have a clean restroom for customers, as every good coffee shop should. Walker Coffee Company also has a gift store/fly fishing vibe with hats, shirts, cups, and fly fishing equipment. I also noticed a sign for fly fishing guide service. The shop was extremely clean and the staff very welcoming. This is a must stop when traveling through Walker! Their Summer hours are 7 days a week 7 am - 5pm.

Many little seating areas, books available to read, free wifi for an hour. Staff very charming and took their time to make sure our order was aligned with what we wanted. This place delivered on that, plus the mac and cheese added a level of creaminess that paired well with the savory brisket. The brisket was BBQed with out too much sauce, this allowed the smokiness of the meat to come through and not be overwhelmed by the other ingredients. So overall, a winner in my book. It's a great place to stop before heading to Tahoe! I had a bagel with smoked salmon and it was AMAZING! NOT ONLY DID IT TASTE DELICIOUS, THE PRESENTATION WAS TOP NOTCH! Their operating hours are a work in progress. Check before going. At the time of this post, they were open Friday TO Sunday morning. But they are working on expanding hours.
