Another excellent review for a top notch company. GD recently installed shower enclosures in 4 baths for me. Having gone thru a very extensive remodeling project, it's great to work with a company that is professional, responsible, and knowledgeable about their craft. Andy visited the job site twice due to my busy schedule, just to make sure all the details were covered. He answered all my questions and gave me excellent advice about what he thought would work best. He showed me pictures on his iPad of the various fixtures as we made our selections. We discussed options such as 3/8 vs 1/2 glass, low iron glass, factory coatings, etc, and the various costs/benefits. After agreeing on the specs, we went ahead and ordered the glass. They predicted it would take approx one week to get everything ready for install, and they were exactly right. GD was able to accommodate my schedule and 2 experienced, courteous installers came on a Saturday and spent the entire day working. There was one hiccup - one glass panel had a very slight concavity on an edge which wasn't noticed until after the install. I spoke to Andy about it and he immediately called the manufacturer. It turns out the manufacturer polished out a nick, causing the curve. No problem, Andy had them remake the panel and it was replaced the very next Saturday. All jobs can have little hiccups, and it's how they are resolved which makes the difference between a great company and and a mickey mouse operation. Thanks Andy and GD! read more

He was very quick in scheduling an appointment to see my showers and the estimate came within the next day. 6 days later and my shower doors are installed and look beautiful! My mother's house was recently burglarized. The thieves shattered a large sliding glass door. I called the great folks at Glass Definition and they sent a crew out the same day. The guys were great and cleaned up the broken glass and boarded up the doorway. I found this company on YELP and used them for my job after reading the excellent reviews. I have to add my five stars to the list. We had a tricky job. Some of the beveled glass panels in our beautiful wood sliding doors had become cloudy and needed to be replaced. We didn't want to damage the wood. Andy was awesome. Super knowledgeable and very confident in his abilities. I was nervous as my application was challenging. Part of what made me nervous is that to install a glass enclosure meant drilling into glass 3x6 subway tiles. If you're not extremely careful and if they weren't installed well, the tiles will crack and you're screwed. He was able to give us exactly what we wanted and it was done perfectly. We had a shower enclosure that needed replacement and decided to get bids for a frameless unit. I got a number of bids. Andy showed up on time (critical as I had to take off work to meet him) and was not only the cheapest but the nicest of the people I had out. Being as he was the cheapest, I wanted to be sure he was also reputable so I checked him out at Yelp and elsewhere. Glass Definition had great reviews wherever I checked so I gave him the contract. Good decision on my part. Andy had spent time measuring everything before giving me a price so I thought that would be it. Not so, before ordering the unit from his supplier, he sent his installer over to do a detailed measurement of everything to be sure that the installation would go in without a hitch. We had three bathrooms glass enclosure done by another company who did a terrible job, crooked lines, water leaking, very unprofessionally done. Unfortunately our house got robbed in a Friday night and we had nothing else to do until wait until we found a window service provider luckily I received the referral through my friend from class definition I called them left a message and they called me approximately 20 minutes later and said that they'll send an agent to come and take a look at my broken window. Called to get an estimate on glass replacement for a window in my house. Spoke to a very nice lady on the phone where she told me to send them an email with pictures and measurements. Andy Perez responded back asking me what it was for so i told him it was for the glass in my window as explained in my precious email. Radio silence after that... I responded 3 separate times once a week after that and still nothing. I finally called today and the lady was super sweet and told me she would have him call me. When he did, he asked me if it was for a shower door, and when I said "no, its for a window, I had actually sent you a picture a few weeks ago and you responded but I hadn't heard from you since." He cut me off to tell me "i'm too busy". So I said "oh well i wish you had told me that when you responded to me the first time... but thanks anyway." He then cut me off to say "i have the right to refuse service to whoever I want." When i told him that i didn't appreciate that type of answer and that i would send write up a yelp review he said "so your threatening me?" and I said "i guess i am" then he got very hostile so i had to hang up. Not professional! I wish he would learn from the nice lady that answered on good customer service, because attitudes like this will put him out of business. Rude on every level. The absolute rudest and worst service ever....I wouldn't use them if they were the last company in town! I called and made an appointment for 3:00 the following day. I have 2 retail buildings and wanted to redo the entire store front. So the next day (day of the appt) at 3:00, I called to see where they were. The guy that answered said that there's nothing on his schedule and asked me who I was and what I wanted. I told him that I scheduled with a girl the day before and that it was for a store front. He said "I know who you are and I'm not interested". Excuse me??? No, you don't know who I am and you're not interested??? I wanted to tell him to go F' himself but I thought for sure he was mistaking me for someone else, so I asked what he meant. He said (in a very rude and aggressive manner) "I'm not interested in doing a store front!" I told him it would be nice of them to let me know when I scheduled or at least called to let me know ahead of time, but he had no care in the world. Look jackass....I'm a Real Estate broker who needs glass for homes and commercial on a monthly basis and has clients asking for recommendations all the time. This was obviously too big of a job for you and you're too rude and idiotic to let me know. Looking at your bad reviews, this isn't the first time you've done this. You are a flake and you are an asshole. So have fun installing small shower doors for the rest of your life because you obviously can't do a real job and have ZERO people skills.
