Awful company, terrible customer service and only performs average work. Because my experience was terrible my review is long. In short, I would never use Glamour flooring again and would suggest you find another company as well. I only used Glamour Flooring for granite so I cannot speak to their flooring work but if their flooring work is anything like their granite work I would stay far away from this company. I recently purchased a house that needed all new flooring and I wanted new counter tops. Because of the proximity of Glamour Flooring to my new house I reached out to Maynor and asked for a quote for all of the work. He came out and measured and provided a quote for the granite and flooring. I found a more knowledgeable (and as it as turns out a must more trustworthy) flooring company do install the flooring but still wanted Glamour to install granite and that's where everything went wrong. Maynor knew of the flooring work that was being done at my house and I asked him, "knowing the work that we are getting done at the house when would be the best time to schedule the granite install?" His response was something along the lines of "my guys have been doing this for years, they can install at any point in the project". I trusted Maynor and scheduled the wood flooring install then Glamour came out a few days after to install the granite. Excited to see the new granite I stopped by the house and there were scratches everywhere in the kitchen. Maynor's granite crew did not protect or cover any of the brand new wood flooring. The scratches were caused by granite and backlash pieces along with grout dust all over the floor and the wall oven sitting on the floor with nothing under it to protect the brand new floors. So I called Maynor and he came by the house and he told me "there's no evidence that my guys did that" and "I was only hired to install granite, not manage your project". His guys were the only ones in the kitchen and the only other person in the house had canvas tarps covering his workspace so I am 100% positive Maynor's crew scratched the brand new floors. Not only did they scratch the floors his crew drank all the bottled water and ate food out of the fridge. That isn't a big deal but it just goes to show the level of respect Maynor and his granite crew had for my house and possessions. Maynor did send out a flooring crew to "repair" the floor, his guys were out there for about 15 minutes and only rubbed some stain on the scratches so only time will tell if his repair hold up. Never the less, our brand new floors are now refurbished and I can still see scratches. Don't use Glamour flooring or trust anything Maynor tells you, there are way too many knowledgeable and trustworthy flooring companies in the Houston area so you don't need to waste your time with these amateurs. Update: I've never met or communicated with Alex on any of these issues so every thing he has heard has been second hand from Maynor and is mostly inaccurate. I never attempted to blackmail or demand $1500, when Maynor asked how he could make this situation right I asked for a discount equivalent to what it would cost to replace the section of flooring that Glamour flooring ruined. I did tell Maynor that I would be writing an honest review of my experience so that's what I did. There was never numerous attempts to collect money. There was one text message from Maynor and I explained to him I would pay him in two weeks when the repair was complete and he communicated understanding. I have no problems paying for work that was done and that's what I did. It does bother me that Alex, who I never met or communicated with, would make up such a lie. Again, my experience with Glamour shows a lot about this company's character. The attempt by Alex to blame the scratches on a different company also exhibits a lot about this company's character. It is very clear in the pictures that his crew didn't protect the floor and placed the oven on the new floor. It is hard to argue or deny that they didn't damage the floor. The flooring company did damage the floor in one spot, since they are a company of integrity they took responsibility for the damage and did repair the single scratch that happened during their installation. By the time Glamour came out to "repair" the floor the scratch from that other company had been repaired to my satisfaction. About this review, while it is negative and I wouldn't recommend Glamour flooring it is ultimately up to the customer. Glamour has some positive reviews so if the customer wants to roll the dice and use Glamour go ahead. I know I will never give this company again. read more

After purchasing a builder home from David Weekly we definitely skipped out on all their upgrades for flooring their prices were high. Glamour Flooring on the other hand had reasonable prices and the best selection by far me and my wife saw. Let me start by telling you the staff at the store is very helpful / friendly they made sure I understood the pricing and hardness of all the hardwood flooring. The reason I mention this is because other flooring retailers were rude and lacked a lot of knowledge. After our 2nd visit we purchased Hardwood Flooring and Travertine for all wet areas at Glamour Flooring. They were quick on their estimate and gave us our price the same day were opposed to other companies had to wait up to a week. Let me tell you about their installers they came in ripped out all the carpet and tile made sure all the floors were level. As they progresses I can see on how accurate their cuts were and how they cared about their craftsmanship asking us if we liked how everything was turning out. These guys installed 1400 Square Ft of hardwood Floors in 3 days I was excited! Any concerns I had about the job made a phone call to the store and Ivan/Alex took care me the right way never minding my ignorant questions I was asking due to my lack of knowledge of flooring. So if you want a high quality job and need guidance on flooring assistance Glamour Flooring have the right personnel to make that possible. I read couple reviews online mostly all goo about these guys but any doubt I had once I met them and their flooring store went out the door. I had a very good experience with glamour flooring. I was looking around for flooring and they ended up doing. The floors through out my house, painted every wall and ceiling, put in crown molding in the rooms that I did not have it in. They were able to match it with the moldings I already had in the other rooms of the house. They also did my granite in the kitchen and back splash. I had carrera marble put in both bath rooms new faucets. All the different trades did a beautiful job. When ever I called the store with any questions i was able to speak with someone and was able to get my questions answered, or I would get a call back. They are very knowledgeable about the products. They gave me a quote right from the very beginning and when ever I would change something or add something they would give me a written quote for the add on's. They guys maybe young men but they are very professional, friendly and they always greet you with a smile. I would recommend this location on Mason Rd to family and friends. I would have given Ivan and his crew 100 stars if it allowed me to! After researching several companies in the area we chose Glamour Flooring based on the reviews, and I'm sure glad I did. Closing on our new home was the worst nightmare creating numerous scheduling problems. When communicating these loan problems with Ivan, he was very understanding and prompt in his responses. We hired Glamour Flooring to do work on our new home before moving in. They replaced the entire 2nd floor carpet, and installed wood flooring in 2 of the downstairs rooms. My husband is the most cynical person when it comes to vendors, but not only was he impressed with the quality and look of the products installed, but also impressed by the quality and efficiency when Ivan's crew worked. In a blink of an eye they were finished! We shopped around at 4 places for engineered hardwood flooring. Glamour flooring was very competitive and we ended up going with them but not only because of price. We really liked the way Maynor and Katherine treated us and answered our questions. The crew that installed the floor were so nice and polite and worked very well together, it seemed like they were all close friends outside of work. They were even considerate enough to ask us how late they could work each day. The quality of their work was top notch, they paid attention to even the smallest details. I could not find anything that needed to be fixed before they left. Before they started I was worried because the wood we chose had quite a lot of variation and I wondered what would happen if similar boards were placed next to each other; however the way the installers laid it out flowed very nicely, it was obvious they knew exactly what they were doing. I am happy and very satisfied with my decision to have glamour flooring in Katy to install my laminate flooring. The choices of flooring i was able to choose from, was enormous. The time frame maynor quoted to me was actually completed before time. The installers completed the job with acuracy and professionalism. We live in Cinco Ranch. We had been looking to replace the carpet in the master bedroom, stairs and the game room for a long time. We needed hardwood that matched the wood already installed in the living, dining and study areas of our home. Maynor did an excellent job in finding wood that very closely resembled the existing wood. His crew began the work in late December and was able to finish the job in 3 days. Their work was excellent and the wood selected matched extremely well with the rest of the house and the finish was very neat. Purchased a new home in Houston as a investment property and needed new floors. I used this company before about three years ago. The service did not disappoint yet again. They cam out to my house in Houston measured for the hardwood flooring. They came in the next following Monday removed all carpets prepped floors and installed. They installed about 1980 Square Feet of hardwood within six business days.
