My daughter & I just got her Sweet 16 dress from this boutique. This shop carries a little something for everyone. From young to old you will find something for your event. What they have in stock really is beautiful & I haven't seen any of the dresses they carry anywhere else (something my daughter & I just love & appreciate). The ladies who took care of us were so sweet & helpful! The dress we chose was not available in her size or color @ the store but the gentleman @ the register put the order in for a reasonable fee & the dress arrived @ the store just 2 weeks later! Excellent timing in my opinion. What I really liked about this boutique, that I really appreciate when I shop, is when my presence is acknowledged upon arrival & I was informed that they were there to help us immediately & that is just what the lovely ladies did! I have no idea how this place is still operating. You're not allowed to browse the racks at all--just forced to look at about 15 outdated photos taped to a wall, while hundreds of dresses sit jammed into a cluttered, disorganized mess right in front of you. Try to look through them yourself, and the owner will literally yell at you not to touch anything. Even worse, you're not allowed to try on any dresses. You're expected to blindly buy something based on a photo, with zero idea of how it fits or feels. It's absolutely ridiculous. The customer service is hostile, the setup makes no sense, and the entire experience feels like a scam. Honestly, it makes you question whether they're actually selling dresses at all, or just using the space for something else. Total waste of time--avoid at all costs. read more

This store is absolutely disgusting and unprofessional! I went with my daughter to try look for dresses and the owner had the audacity to say you better look at the price first. So I said ok and continued shopping. My daughter was interested in this particular dress and I asked if she can try on. He said no we had to buy it first I said she needs to try it on to make sure it fits. He started yelling at us and said if you don't buy the dress then get out the store. We were racially profiled. He told us that we couldn't afford the dress and kicked everyone in the store out. He can keep all his ugly ass dresses! Worst experience. read more

I was able to take the dress i picked the same day, the lady that works there helped me put the dress on and was very respectful about it. Let me start with if - I could give 0 stars I would! The man at the front desk was incredibly rude to my family and I. He would not allow us to try on or look at ANY of the dresses, not even the ones in plastic bags!! All he did was insist that we look at one book and order from there. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ! Not even deserving of a single star. I swear anyone I know that's walked in this place has had trash service ! Yet we decided to give it a chance. The moment my mom, my sister & I walked in, the lady began her insults. I barely walked to a rack with short dresses & she automatically did not want me to touch anything. Emphasizing that nothing there would fit me. I'm a 5ft 125lb girl standing in front of a rack full of size 4,6,8. Giving my mother the same responses. I let it go and continue to try and browse through the rack. Lady then proceeds to PHYSICALLY REMOVE my hand and stop me from looking through saying she "doesn't want me to ruin the clothes". EVERY DRESS IS IN A BAG. I am know to respect my elders but this lady began getting closer to me to physically try and remove me. And at the point I begin to get loud and demand she steps back and stops addressing me. The man who claims he's the owner comes from back of the store, doesn't even hear what I'm trying to explain the lady was doing. He automatically listened to her and proceeds to continue with the same behavior as the lady. At which point I got aggravated and contacted the WNY police department and stepped out the store. Officer would arrive in 20 min but being short on time I let it go and left. Resulting to reviews I will now be writing for this store. I would LOVE to speak to the actual owners of this place because I REFUSE to believe the so claimed owner would treat PAYING CUSTOMERS In such matter. Went in and the man told me he did not have anything that would fit me. Very rude. I do not recommend the store to anyone. They won't let you touch any dress and you are not allowed to try on a dress before you buy it... very rude and very strange. Man was letting the other girls touch things and let my tiny mom look at dresses but yelled at me and told me he doesn't have anything for me. I bought a dress here in 2011 for graduation. First and only time I had a pleasant experience here. Anytime I have returned, my sister, mother, and myself were made to feel fat and like potential shoplifters. I will never, ever come here again. Their dresses aren't as nice as they used to be anyway. It's a struggle to even get to try anything on. No returns accepted. You aren't allowed to look through dresses which are in plastic bags. You are told to just look at the pictures on the wall. You get told what your size is, and it's wrong. They lie about their inventory. They get in your face, they disrespect you, and they discriminate you. I am always about helping small businesses but not this one. I came here on Saturday to look for dresses for my mother and I couldn't believe how terrible the customer service was. I walked in and started looking at dresses and this man comes up to me to ask what I'm looking for, I explained to him that I'm looking for mother of the bride dresses. He brings me to the section where the dresses are and I start looking through them and he rudely says "you need to turn around and look at the pictures on the wall, everything that's all on the wall is on the rack" I looked at the pictures and saw a dress that I liked so I began looking through the rack to find this particular dress (btw all the dresses were in a plastic seal so it's not like I was getting any of them dirty) he again rudely says "why are you touching them I'm right here you can just ask me what you need" I then told him "I just wanted to look at the details of the dress" at this point I was annoyed and ready to walk out but there was this one dress we really liked so I continued to look. He then asked me for a size and I said "I'm not sure we didn't take any measurements, I just know she's a large". He then says " No, no, no you need to know measurements before coming in here". I literally put the dress back on the rack and walked right out of the store. I couldn't believe how rude this man was! I'm extremely disappointed because I heard so many good things about this store and I really liked the selection of dresses but I couldn't handle the rudeness and disrespect. First off I gave only one star because I had to. Going in the store was very nice, and clean, that was a plus. I saw some dresses out of the window and ddcided to go inside and see what more they had. I starting looking through the bags of dresses. When I believe the store owner said I could look at the pictures. I said no thank you and proceeded to look at the dresses my self. The owner proceeded to aproach me invading my personal space. He told me again with a rude voice that I had to look at the pictures. I walked out if i wanted to look at pictures i would have ordered online! I was so taken back that I was almost lost for words I replied "Well sir I am looking at dresses" he continued to yell "Look at catalog!!!" I love this store to death! I came here once looking for my quince dress & I didn't see anything I could fall in love with so the owner showed me some exclusive dresses (more pricey but worth the look) & I instantly fell in love with one! He even was nice enough to let it get shipped to my house (of course with a fee$) & I just went today to buy my prom dress, fast and easy with lots of help! This is to tell everyone about the horrible customer service at glamorous on 55th and bergenline where they sell dresses for prom and other events. Will not mention a name but the person who I was with who needed a dress we were asking for several dresses to try on and it was almost impossible. "May I try this one?" Looks her up and down.. "Don't have it in her size" (how the hell do you know what size she is douche). Okay I let that one slide. "How about this one".... "Well how much money do you have". Then I couldn't hold it anymore I flipped out, honestly just get us the god damn dress in the size we know she is in and stop assuming we can't afford or fit into your dresses. I've had all my pageant and prom dresses from them and will no longer make business with them. -thank you for reading. Never ever go to the store, the owner and the staff are very rude and insulting. We went in with a group of friends to find bridesmaids dresses and one of the girls tried a dress on so since we liked that style we wanted the other of the girls to try the same dress but in a different size to see if she liked it as well. But they told us that we could only do that if we were going to buy it how are we going to buy a dress that we don't know how it fits and the rest of the girls? Then as my friend was taking off her dress to change into her original clothing the lady yelled at her because she put the dress on the floor or else was she going to put it and they called her stupid for doing that. Do not go here! I have never written a bad review before but I deem it necessary. The service is horrible. The sales people and owner are rude and dressing rooms are a shoe box. They act as if you are a criminal in the store and will only bring you one dress at a time and then if you walk three steps away from the dressing room with the dress on, they tell you to change first. When you ask to try on other dresses the sales people act as if you are bothering them and you should liked the first dress you tried on. When asking about return policy or shipping, answer was no, buy now or you don't get it. Quality of dresses is mediocre, store a bit dirty, the owner has their young kids running around being loud, not a pleasant environment. It is worth driving anywhere else in Nj or going to Brooklyn for better service and most likely better quality dresses. Do not support this store, the owner and staff should learn better manners or not be so prejudice against all other races but their own! Nice place with Nice dresses. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Service!!!!!! There opening time shows at 11am and they opened an hour later or so..( since we got there 10min before they opened and we went to walk around until they opened). I was there this past Saturday. We went to look for bridesmaids dresses, dress for my matron of honor and a party white dress for myself (bride). First off, my matron of honor liked a dress and told the woman staff that works there if she can give her a # size and she said to her "No that's not your size, you are a bigger size!" So rudely. Then one of the bridesmaids decided to try on a dress, so since it did fit her we wanted the others to try and same story, the others couldn't try it on unless we did buy the dress. So then I asked for a nice white dress, she said they didn't have white so to try the red. I tried it and then was told that probably one more size, so instead of bringing me the next size she kept on asking if I liked it. I said that I would love to try it on in white, same time one of my bridesmaids walked over to where that dress was and saw a white color one in the next size I needed. So she told that staff woman, can you bring the white in her size since you do have it! and she just kept on asking if we were going to buy it...so we asked her if she was going to bring it and since she didn't answer because she didn't want to bring over the dress I gave her the red dress back and I said "ok thanks!" she goes over to the other man staff member and start talking in their language about it while I was putting my coat on. That guy decides to walk past by us with this look and so one of my bridesmaids got mad and said that's why you probably don't sell anything and he decided to answer her back by saying We Do Sell! We Do Sell! So yes this place can have nice dresses and all, but if you can't even try on what you want, what is the point! It's a literally waste of you time to even go there! read more
