Over the years, I gained weight and now weigh around 115 pounds. I've always been petite with a natural C cup, but after having three beautiful children, my breasts were no longer the shape I wanted. Looking back, I wish I had listened to my first plastic surgeon when he recommended getting a breast lift along with my augmentation. Instead, I only chose implants to restore the volume I had lost. The results were great for the first 10-14 years, but as I gained weight, gravity and the additional breast tissue caused my breasts to become much larger and droopier. I eventually started to hate how oversized and saggy they looked. For the last 2-3 years, I had been wanting a breast lift with new implants. I researched countless plastic surgeons in Las Vegas because I'm extremely picky. At one point, I even put down a $2,000 deposit with another surgeon, but I got nervous, canceled the surgery, and waited almost two more years. Then my girlfriend recommended Dr. Richard. When I said I needed to think about it, the consultant did not open the door for me, and no one acknowledged me as I left. For services involving sensitive areas and significant cost, you deserve transparency about who is treating you, what they're doing, and why. I didn't get any of that here.

Everyone was very nice when I arrived, but unfortunately the pricing was not communicated clearly at all. Before injecting, I was given a very quick explanation that Dysport and Botox are "measured differently." I was never told that this difference would result in me being charged roughly THREE TIMES what I believed I was agreeing to. There was no clear discussion of the total number of units being charged, the expected price of the treatment, or even an estimate before proceeding. This was only supposed to be a touch-up, and what I expected to be around a $140 service ended up costing me $422. When I questioned the receptionist afterward and said I had come in because it was advertised at $4 per unit, I was literally told, "Oh no, that's too low." I left, found the advertisement showing the $4/unit price, and came back to address it. At that point, the injector told me that she had explained that the measurements were different. Explaining that Dysport and Botox are measured differently is NOT the same thing as clearly telling a client, "Because of that difference, you will be receiving X units and your total today will be approximately $422." I would never have agreed to a $422 touch-up had that price been clearly disclosed to me beforehand. I understand that different injectables have different dosing ratios, and I have no issue paying the appropriate price for a service I knowingly agree to. My issue is the lack of transparency. If a pricing difference is significant enough to turn what a client believes is approximately a $140 service into a $422 bill, that needs to be explicitly communicated BEFORE anything is injected--not explained afterward when the client questions the bill. I left feeling completely misled and taken advantage of. Regardless of how friendly everyone was, this experience destroyed my trust in the practice. Clear pricing and informed consent should be basic expectations, especially when you're dealing with cosmetic procedures where there is no opportunity to undo the service once it has been performed.
