When I approached the desk, she was on the phone, so I waited politely to be acknowledged. Instead of greeting me or even making eye contact, she continued her phone transaction and avoided looking up. After standing there for about five minutes with no acknowledgment, I decided to sit in the waiting area. When my scheduled appointment time arrived, she was still on the phone. I waved gently, and said, "Just checking in." She only nodded without a greeting or any attempt at customer service. What made this experience more disappointing is that this same staff member was extremely warm and attentive when she was selling me packages and assisting the friends I referred. However, her attitude noticeably changed after I requested a refund for a package I no longer needed. The process took far too long, and I eventually had to write a letter to the company to expedite it. Ever since then, her demeanor toward me has been completely different. Front desk staff are usually friendly, welcoming, and professional, which is why this experience stood out. As a long-time client, this was the first time I felt dismissed and treated differently. Unfortunately, this interaction has made me decide to finish the packages I already purchased and then look for another company that values and respects its clients consistently--not only when they are making purchases.
