Would have liked for him to give me warning about the awful pain the extraction will cause. Suggested I used cleanser and salicylic acid toner day & night down to my neck. Milunka / Beba was my first ever beauty specialist, many years ago, when we still lived in the same country and town. To us young girls at the time, she was more than a beauty specialist: she was our mentor on all things beauty, she was our life coach and a role model for a true lady. I've been going to Milunka about every 6 weeks for almost 2 years now and I went from someone who would get constant cystic acne to probably once or twice a year. I've tried different treatments, dermatologists, medication and nothing helped until she touched my face. I'm convinced it's her hands that have the magic touch because every time I go to her, my skin is glowing 3 days after. She goes over every part of your face and even your hairline and chin area, I recommend her to anyone dealing with acne. I don't know what I'd do without her. I am very disappointed with what I would call odd and weird interaction I had with the owner over yelp messages. I originally was inquiring about potentially booking a facial appointment for my son who struggles with acne. I then booked an appt through the owner for an evening appointment (8:45pm on a Sunday). The owner began to phone text me with details she needed to complete the appointment. Photos of my son's skin along with medication information. I thought the appointment was confirmed. As I was on my way to the appointment I went back to my Yelp app to check the address where I found messages asking to confirm the appointment. When I messaged that I was coming the responded saying that they had left for the night because I had not responded. I don't understand why they would ask me that thru Yelp when my last communication was through phone text since I don't check Yelp for messages. Milunka is a European facial goddess! My entire life every place I go to works on your face with whatever time limit you choose. I contacted Milunka through Yelp and fortunately for me she had an availability that same day. The last few months I was breaking out horribly due to stress (probably) & hormones (maybe). Either way I had dark spots and breakout everywhere on my face. I only like wearing make up when I go out but on a day to day id prefer not to. It was so bad to the point id have to wear makeup to cover it up even though we all know you you can still see the bumps with makeup. You just feel ugly when your skin isn't on point. I came in and she put in some serious work, no time limit or anything. She did what she had to do to get everything extracted from my face. First time ever I got a facial that I actually felt was done properly. I even came in with a super bad sinus headache & she gave me a massage on my sinus cavities too lol. She recommended me products and I'm really noticing my skin coming back to how it used to be. I'm glad I didn't go to the dermatologist & that I went a more natural route (which I didn't think would've been possible). It's a process but I'm seeing a difference. I hadn't gotten a facial for almost 1.5 years when I happened to get one from BEBA. It's IMPOSSIBLE to find a place that does extractions at most American places. I had no issue in Los Angeles, but, BEBA seemed to be the only person that I could find who was wiling to do it. She squeezed probably about 70 times off my face (stuff and gunk wherever they were hiding) and got rid of whiteheads as well (the main reason why I even go get a facial). It' s a small shop, and she's just a very sweet, comforting person to be around. I'm used to 1.5 hour facials from back in LA, and my session lasted me about 50 minutes? I was a bit surprised. I personally woulda wanted a couple more face packs or something done with the extra time I had, but she said that everyone's session time varies based on their skin condition and mine was not needing anything more. I must take it as a compliment, I suppose. I'll for sure be back to squeeze the crap out of my face again. read more

So far my experience with Milunka has been great. I contacted her via yelp and she called me the same day to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately, the soonest she could get me in was about 3 weeks out. Because it was scheduled so far in advance she contacted me the day before to confirm which was nice, and by text which was awesome! The day of the appointment I was a little nervous. I knew that because of the condition of my skin this was not going to be a pleasant experience but I was hopeful that in the end I would would be happy. I've never had really bad skin and since I'm 32 it was shocking to me that I was suddenly breaking out like a teenager. I'm not sure whether it was the new climate or hard water but whatever it is Milunka has me on track to get rid of it! One thing I noticed is that no one posts photos. Probably because of embarrassment but lucky for you I'm not easily embarrassed so I'm happy to share my journey to clear skin with you! Milunka is AMAZING! I was a faithful, monthly client of hers for 2.5 years! I moved from the South to Vegas and my skin started to breakout due to the climate change. I wanted to stay with Milunka, but my second facial with her was not at all helpful. She was texting on her phone (dirty phones and fingers!) while doing my facial and extractions. Then, she used a different moisturizer and exfoliator (I think,) because almost after the session, my face became raw and red. Then I broke out. I think the combination of the new exfoliator and the dirty fingers may have been the culprit. I called her a few times and she said it may have been the new moisturizer, which she insisted she had used before. Then she said to use hydrocortisone and to just rinse my face. I wish I had said something during the facial, but Milunka was so sweet. I hope it doesn't happen to others. read more

Milunka has the hands of an angel!!! I've gone to so many dermatologists who look at my skin for 2 seconds, diagnose it incorrectly, then have me buy tons of product. I expressed that I truly just want a more reasonable answer, and after A YEAR of trying to figure it out, she was able to tell me what it was, correct the problem, and give me recommendations!! I am over the moon about it! She does more than a facial, she will let you know what to do when you leave the office, and how frequently you should get work done. I can't rave enough about Milunka and her facials. I've been going to her for about 8 months now, and my face has never been happier! Unfortunately, not all of us are born with beautiful, bump-free skin. My skin, for the most part, has been decent throughout my life thus far. Some mountainous breakouts now and then, but nothing a little product couldn't zap. But about a year and a half ago, I went off birth control. GOD FORBID my body do ANYTHING to mess with my hormones. (insert eye roll here.) Because that's when the teenage acne started to flare up. I'm a 33 year old woman who had the face of a 15 year old. But I digress. That's where Milunka stepped in! If you're like me, you've tried "extractions" on your own face before, only to be left with a gross, bloody, scabby mess that lasts for weeks. Well, Milunka performs extractions (which is very hard to find now a days) and she does it gracefully. She KNOWS what she's doing! The after-effects are minimal and your skin is left glowing just hours after she squeezes all of that unwanted gunk out. Please note, this is not the type of facial for someone who is looking for spa music and a couple of good-smelling masks slapped on their face. This is a bit painful at times, but also in a strange way, relaxing and satisfying. She truly clears your pores. And she's like an archaeologist for your face; she finds things in there that you didn't even know existed! I tell her I feel like I lose weight every time I go in there, because she finds so much to extract. The products she uses are great, and very soothing after the extractions. My face is typically a little red, but it fades over the next few hours. I've even went out to dinner immediately afterwards and my boyfriend didn't scream and run away in disgust. So I'd say that's a win, haha. Besides her awesome services, she is an amazing human being. She is one of the sweetest women I've ever met, and is truly concerned with the quality of your skin. She is a cheerleader too! She notices how great my skin was starting to look our last session, and gave me all kinds of kuddos and "hoorays" for following her instructions (and yes, please follow her skin care routine instructions. They work.) I sincerely enjoy visiting her each month, and she is always quick to try and fit you in if there's a cancellation. She is pretty funny too - I love how she shows me some of the stuff that comes out of my face, saying "look at that! wow!" Guess this may only interest Dr. Pimple Popper fans, but hey...to each their own! Healthy skin starts with clear pores. Milunka will clear your pores and give you a great foundation to start healing your problem areas. After three appointments with her for facials (cleansing & extractions), my skin resembles a tone I have not seen in years. It looks and feels healthier.
