I came in for the advertised $59 facial special, and while the facial itself was nice and I really liked the technician, the overall experience was disappointing. I'd give my facial 4 stars, but this place overall gets a 2. The service I received didn't match what was advertised, and it quickly became clear that the "special" is more of a marketing tactic to upsell packages and products. After my facial (which was a basic facial, but it was still nice), I was taken into another room where I was given a sales pitch that felt rushed and poorly explained. Before I even had a chance to fully understand what was being offered, the conversation jumped straight into financing options like CareCredit, which felt premature and uncomfortable. I made it clear that I don't need financing and prefer to make informed decisions, especially for something like a treatment package that's a couple thousand dollars. I told them I'd think it over rather than purchase on the spot. Instead of taking the time to explain the details or answer questions, the sales associate seemed irritated, avoided eye contact, and gave off an unwelcoming vibe. It's unfortunate , because I actually would have returned for facials based on the quality of the treatment itself. However, the pushy and unprofessional sales experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Because of that, I won't be coming back. Since returning home, I looked up their Facebook reviews and I now know that I should've expected the sales pitch. Advertised as a full facial, but none of that was done. The treatment was extremely short and mostly aggressive scrubbing, which irritated my skin. No proper consultation either (I use tretinoin and they never asked or listened when I told them). Immediately after, they moved me into a room to upsell a $600 vitamin C serum and a light machine. This felt more like a sales funnel than a facial. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend lmao plus they refuse to refund me and despite the ad showing a jelly mask and other things that weren't included, say the service was done as described. It's been 5 days since I received the LED Anti-Aging Facial as a first time customer at JSO SPA in Sun City, Summerlin. The texture of my skin still looks and feels soft, smooth, and supple. I truly enjoyed my experience and hope to visit regularly. The package included a 3D Skin Analysis, which was a first for me. The photos of my pores, wrinkles, and UV analysis were shocking! Yikes!! Nevertheless, I'm glad I'm taking the necessary steps to achieve better results in the future. Ingrid was my esthetician and I am grateful for her expertise and advice. We shared stories throughout my visit, which I didn't mind. This did not distract from the service itself. She was very thorough! The spa bed was warm and cozy. The steamer was placed at a comfortable and safe position; it never bothered me. Extractions were also involved, which is what I knew I needed and only squirmed when the tool worked around sensitive areas. But, I was forewarned and held my breath. Lol! The interior is lovely and calming with neutral colors and comfortable seating. There are even several massage chairs available if you have extra time to relax. read more

Terrible place. The special they offer is very deceiving because they know no one would pay $79. For a double cleanse and double scrub. No massage at all. No mask. Seems like cheap products, as I saw they use No Ad sunscreen. Walmart product. The 1/2 facial is barely 45 minutes and when you're done, it gets worse. They put you in a room with "the manager ", who is a terrible sales person. She tries to get your social security number to run your credit. Isn't that against the law? She tries to act like she cares but it's just fake bad sales tactics. As soon as you say no, she becomes a douche. This is a bait and switch place. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! I arrive at my appointment and now see those were All ADD ONS that you have to pay extra for and is not part of the $79 special. I received a very basic facial treatment- there was no hot wet towels, no steam , no shoulder massage.. I felt this was a bait and switch. Afterwards I was led to a room with a guy behind desk to sell me products.. I declined immediately, checked out and left disappointed. Very disappointed. Book a 1 hour facial on a special. The products that were used on my face had a foul smell. The facial ended in 37 mins and it was NOT an hour. Then you finish and you are corralled to a back room and you get a very very heavy sales pitch. My husband had a facial tune and was with me and the lady asked for his phone to see if his health insurance would cover part of a red light therapy. She started asking weird questions and when she asked for his social, I asked to see the phone and she was applying for a care credit card. I told her that is absolutely not OK we aren't applying for any kind of credit card and she said no no it's just to see if you get a discount. It wasn't about a discount. She was on synchrony Bank applying for a credit card at my husband's name. Then when we said we didn't want a package we went up front and the cost was way more than what was quoted online. False Advertising and Disappointing Experience I paid for a facial that was advertised to include a Hydrafacial component, two masks (one regular and one sheet mask), and dermaplaning. However, the actual service did not include the Hydrafacial portion or the dermaplaning that I paid for. Only one mask was used. The appointment started 15 minutes late, and the steamer was broken, so that step was skipped entirely. The mask was applied before the LED light treatment, which made no sense since the lights could not penetrate the mask. The technician also talked nonstop throughout the service, making it impossible to relax. There was no massage included, which is typically a standard part of a facial experience. After the rushed service, I was quickly ushered into another room for a sales pitch on packages, which felt pushy and unprofessional. This was not just a poor experience but also false advertising. The service was completely different from what was promoted and felt like a bait-and-switch tactic. Do not waste your money or your time here. read more

I brought my mom to JSO Spa for their advertised $79 "60-minute LED anti-aging facial." What we got was about 30 minutes of actual treatment and 30 minutes of high-pressure sales tactics, including scare-based claims about her "high risk for skin cancer" and pressure to buy a $1,200 red-light device. They took her insurance card, suggested switching her listed insurer without explanation, and pushed costly products ($758+) with no receipt provided until I made multiple in-person visits. Refund policies and processes changed every time I asked, and employee credentials were unclear -- one claimed to be an RN but does not appear in the Nevada Board of Nursing database. The spa is in a 55+ community, and I'm concerned about vulnerable seniors being targeted. I have filed a formal complaint with the BBB and the Nevada State Board of Nursing for investigation into their sales tactics, credential claims, and handling of personal/insurance information. Scam, save yourself! This business engaged in fraudulent and deceptive practices. I filed a dispute with a third party, Cherry Technologies, Inc., after discovering that a loan/financing plan was created in my name without my knowledge or consent. At no point did I apply for, authorize, or agree to financing through Cherry. When I initially spoke with Shirley Cantrell, I was presented with a contract stating that services would be provided by JSO Spa for 12 months at a specific monthly price to JSO Spa, no one else. That agreement did not include any financing terms. Contrary to that agreement, a financing plan with Cherry was created without my authorization. The signature on that financing agreement is not mine. I was never presented with, nor did I sign, any Retail Installment Sale Contract with Cherry--on the day of service or at any time thereafter. I do, however, possess the original contract I was presented with by Shirley, which includes my actual signature. That was also the last time I saw her and she did not get back to me about any of my concerns when I reached out. Due to this unauthorized activity, I was forced to contact multiple representatives at Cherry to resolve an issue I did not agree to or create. I was only able to obtain a partial credit, despite disputing the full amount. Because I received only partial credit, I went to receive services and had an appointment scheduled for last week. I did not receive those services. I attempted to call the business but there was no response. When I went to the location in person, the business was no longer operating, and there was no office, notice, or alternative contact information available. Despite failing to provide services, charges continued. I also contacted another client whose phone number was posted on the door of the former spa location and learned they are experiencing the same unauthorized charges and lack of services. This appears to be a pattern of fraudulent behavior affecting multiple clients. I have reported this business and its activities to the appropriate parties. This conduct is completely unprofessional, deceptive, and unacceptable. Do not get yourself involved. read more

JSO popped up on my Facebook. They were offering an introductory offer for first time clients I was excited to try it since it is right down the street from my house and was hoping it would be my facial spot. My appointment was at 4:30, they took me back at 4:45. A lady started talking to me about my skin care goals asking me many questions, I thought she was the aesthetician but realized she was winding up for the sales pitch at the end of my treatment. My aesthetician was a young girl checking people in and out at the front desk. The first big turn off was the rubber gloves she was wearing which was annoying while she was so lightly rubbing my skin alternating with rough cold cloths not exactly sure what was on them. The facial lasted a mare 25 minutes, which I was told the facials were an hour. At the end, she wanted to do a "mapping" of my face and then send me back to the closer lady for the sales pitch.
