The spa is beautiful--luxurious, relaxing, and exactly what you'd expect from a high-end hotel spa…read more The front desk team was welcoming and gave a thorough, helpful tour. Amenities like snacks, drinks, and toiletries were all on par with other five-star spas. I booked a 50-minute "Recover" massage with Lacy, and she was exceptional. As a licensed massage therapist, I've had a lot of massages, and hers stands out as one of the best I've had in years. Her technique, awareness, and attention to problem areas were next-level. The only issue came at checkout. A gift card I received around Christmas 2023 had lost value due to a monthly deduction after one year. I don't agree with that policy, but the front desk handled it professionally and said management would review it. Even with that hiccup, this was a five-star experience. I'll absolutely be back--and next time, I'm booking longer with Lacy.

1.5/5 Stars Premium Prices, Poor Maintenance, and an Extremely Disappointing Experience…read moreAfter staying at Red Rock Casino Resort numerous times, walking past the spa countless times, and knowing individuals who work at the property, I was genuinely excited to finally experience the spa for myself. Unfortunately, after years of anticipation, the experience was nothing short of disappointing. For a property that markets itself as a luxury resort, the spa fell significantly short of the standards and level of service I expected. Nonfunctioning Amenities at Full Price. The cold plunge was completely out of service, yet guests were still charged the full day-pass rate. The remaining amenities consisted primarily of a pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, and dry sauna, neither of which offered anything particularly impressive. The sauna facilities were not sufficiently hot, further diminishing the experience. Disturbing Sanitation and Beverage Concerns.Perhaps the most concerning issue was discovering what appeared to be feces on a bathroom handle. This is unacceptable in any public facility, let alone a luxury spa where cleanliness and sanitation should be fundamental priorities. Additionally, the complimentary apple juice contained visible floating debris and appeared to be fermented or spoiled. This raises serious questions about how frequently beverages are inspected, replaced, and maintained. Refreshments and Basic Services Neglected Hours Before closing: By approximately 2 PM, snack replenishment had seemingly stopped altogether, despite the spa remaining open until 8 PM. That is SIX HOURS during which arriving guests were apparently expected to accept whatever refreshments remained, if any. Guests arriving later in the day are still paying for the same experience. Why should their access to basic amenities and refreshments be diminished simply because they arrived after the early afternoon? Hot water availability was also limited, and the bathroom was not adequately stocked with towels. I actually had to retrieve my own towels, which is not the level of service I would expect from an establishment charging premium prices. These may seem like small details individually, but collectively they demonstrate a concerning lack of attention to guest comfort, facility upkeep, and service consistency. A Disappointing Comparison to Other Spas:Having experienced Lamplighter Spa, I can confidently say that my experience there was substantially better. Red Rock Spa simply did not deliver the same level of value or satisfaction. What makes this particularly frustrating is my longstanding familiarity with the Red Rock property. After staying here on numerous occasions and looking forward to finally visiting the spa, I expected an experience that reflected the resort's upscale reputation. Instead, I encountered unavailable amenities, questionable sanitation, spoiled refreshments, inadequate restocking, and an overall lack of attention to detail. Luxury pricing should come with luxury standards. Guests should not have to compromise on cleanliness, basic necessities, or access to amenities while paying full admission. This experience was extremely underwhelming and absolutely not worth the price. I sincerely hope management addresses these issues, because the current level of service does not reflect the premium experience this property advertises.

I was visiting family and knew I needed to get this taken care of ASAP. I looked up spas that were close by and found Refresh Massage just down the street. I booked my appointment online for the following hour. When I arrived, I was greeted by Brian (?) who said Sara would be just a moment. The lobby was very clean. They have a menu of services listed along with a note of which services they do not...it was amusing and disturbing that they needed to acknowledge these "requests." Sara came out and showed me to a clean, tidy room. I wasn't sure of which service I needed and after discussing it with her it was decided that the Focus massage would be the best. She did my neck and shoulders over a thin sheet which was not uncomfortable. Towards the end she did use some oil on my neck. She used the perfect amount of pressure for me and she was very kind. When I got back to the house, my daughter mentioned that she goes to Refresh Massage and asks for Sara...She was at work when I made the appointment so I wasn't able to consult her prior. :-) I was very pleased with my experience and I would highly recommend this spa! My head and neck feel amazing today!

June was AMAZING, and I wish I could remember the name of the woman who massaged my husband because both of them were absolutely phenomenal. Do not sleep on this spa! The prices are unbelievably reasonable, especially considering how skilled these ladies are at what they do. If I could go back every week, I absolutely would. My husband and I gushed about June and her partner for hours afterward...maybe even days. The spa itself was extremely clean, neat, welcoming, and comfortable. Truly, I have zero complaints. We chose the one-hour couples Thai massage, and it was SO amazing that my only regret was not booking the two-hour option 10/10+ experience. We will absolutely be back!

I was quoted 70$ in text... online stated 75 and I left paying almost 85$ due to card usage. Had I been told if I pay cash it would be 70$ I would have 100% paid cash. Oh well. Thank you June. She said no as it was a service that's already been rendered. I mean, why would I ever actually return? My patronage is definitely worth more than a $15 credit on my next massage thank you very much. She said she's been in service for years and wants to make things right. I, too, have been in service for over a decade and her approach was 1000% not personable. I literally wish it was a recorded call so her management could listen to it. She said if I didn't like my massage, I should have gotten up from the table and refused to pay at that point. Even said she would not have tipped the therapist, which I still did nonetheless. lol, didn't know that was the etiquette but thanks for the lesson. She even told me that almost all of their reviews are 4 and 5 stars and insinuated that the problem is likely me. The "service" of this place is so pretentious, it's crazy. I'll stick with my massages at Equinox, thanks. ------------------------------ Alex was sweet. Petra was cold af - Like do you even have a soul, maybe try smiling. I had Andrea for my therapist and she was great. Pressure was great and if you run hot, she's perfect for you cause her hands stayed cool as a cucumber. 1 star for the administration of it all. They are not accommodating. With Vegas being a tourist city, and their parking and location being what it is, I'd say plan to get there 30 mins early because if you're stuck looking for their location or looking for a parking spot, you're very much eating into your massage time. I even had a question to which the receptionist had to ask her supervisor, who is not on site, and that took about 6 extra minutes of my time. I think management should give their receptionists more leeway with make decisions. I'm not returning because we had issues at check in and tbh, it's been recurring at The Now's in Silver Lake and New Orleans and I'm just over dealing with them.

fire massage spot if u want to feel like you were rolled over and spin out by a spiky rolling pin!…read morebeen here a few times (solo and in a couples massage) and it still remains my favorite out of other massage places. i have never had a problem with any maseuses as they have all been very meticulous and strong. today i had a couples massage and adding cupping last minute, my maseuse was amy and my boyfriends was leo! leo was very funny and suggested my boyfriend also get cupping due to veryy large knots. amy was on the quieter side but i do like my massages that way so i didnt mind at all. both really got in there, amy was detecting every knot and going at them. the cupping was damn painful but honestly a rec to anyone who always feels stiff. the space is very large so they seem to be able to accomodate a lot of people and different groups/services. there is both room temp and cold water, bathrooms are fairly clean. my only gripe is that sometimes you can hear talking through the thinner walls but im mostly focused on surviving (no complaints) so its not anything crazy serious. love this place and will be back ova n ova again!

Overall, it's been a mixed bag of experiences, because ultimately it depends on the masseuse, fluctuating prices, and their schedule. Overall, it's a solid facility and large enough to wear. It can accommodate all sorts of groups for a variety of different massages. There are plenty of chairs for foot massages, private rooms galore, custom shoulder massage chairs, and a serene ambiance with Chinese style furniture that helps with its overall vibe. There have been times where other patrons are talking and there have been times where the mass masseuses are the ones chatting (audibly). The back walking, deep tissue massages are the ones to get, but not every masseuse is able to do this. Some folks may complain about the lack of English, but that has never posed an issue for anyone I brought here, including myself. There are benefits to being members here, in which prices are always going to average out on the cheaper side and is an option, I would recommend for any local. If the massage was good, remember the name of the masseuse. Cash is king, even though they also accept credit cards. Tips can vary, of course, but don't let anyone bully for more than what is reasonable. (#1) __________ (#1) Typically $10-15 for an hour's worth is my rule of thumb.

The pool area is super relaxing, and I loved that they have a coed sauna. I got an 80-minute aroma oil massage and it was AMAZING. The therapist used the perfect amount of pressure, and the room was so tranquil. Also, huge shoutout to the staff--everyone from the front desk to the poolside team was wonderful and so friendly. *That being said, the amenities definitely fell short compared to other spas around here (like Red Rock, where they give you dried fruit, granola, juice, Pellegrino, etc.). At Aquae, the complimentary snacks were literally just popcorn and water, which felt pretty lackluster for a spa day lol. *A few other things annoyed me: My first locker was broken so I had to switch to a different one. *Two of the showers were totally out of order. And if you're modest like me, there is no private changing area unless you lock yourself in a bathroom stall or take up one of the few working showers. I am not a fan of letting all of my jiggly bits hang out. They were missing some basic conveniences--no disposable razors, and no swimsuit dryer (they just hand you a plastic bag for your wet swimsuit). They did have toothbrushes, hairbrushes, shampoo, shaving cream, and hair dryers, though. Overall, the price point is fair for locals, the grounds are pretty, and the staff and massages are top notch. But with the JW Marriott and Rampart remodeling, Aquae Spa really needs a revamp of its own to catch up on the amenities. I'd go back for the massage, but I'm definitely bringing my own snacks and maybe a Moomoo tent to change under so I don't jiggle my wobbly bits in front of everybody next time!
