I attended the 5/6/18 class in SF with a friend's 17 year old daughter. I've taken quite a few hair classes but Glam Lab's class was seriously one of the best classes EVER! I am a cosmetologist with lots of makeup experience and needed to brush up on my skills so I can offer this as a service. There was so much useful and understandable information. Bring a pen so you can take notes! There was plenty of practice time and we had as much help as we needed. Everyone there helping us looked fabulous and they are incredibly talented and patient. I will definitely attend more advanced classes in the future! As for my 17 year old friend, she learned all she knows to start a little business and put some money in her pocket. We received certifications so that gives us credibility and I will frame mine and display it at my station. I must thank you, Glam Lab, for such an incredible class!! Greatest family activity ever! January 8, 2016 I took two of my daughters to the Glam Lab Studio in Chicago, IL for all of us to get Certified as Makeup Artists. We had a blast learning how to correctly apply makeup to create a natural look. The instructor Britney was amazing and I appreciated the fact that her face was fully made up. This took away any question about her level of makeup artistry skills. Even though the class was 9:30-5:00, the time went by really fast. Britney demonstrated the technique on a model then we were given time to practice on someone else in class. As far as communication with main office, they return phone calls and emails with no problem. Jason and Gol were open to discuss any questions or concerns I had. Just the energy and communication made me feel really good about the investment I made to get my two daughters and I certified was well worth it. I took the Makeup Pro 101 class on Sunday, August 28, 2016 and still have not received my certificate through mail, due to the fact that it was sent to another school for some reason. I was told that it would be considered a "rush" delivery during the class and was confirmed through email that it would be sent off quickly that week. Aside from the certificate that I payed and worked for and desperately need before I go back to Puerto Rico, I have been trying to sign up for an advanced class for September 18, 2016. I have not been confirmed or received any type of notification for that being. I have called headquarters today, but haven't been successful with getting through. I did enjoy the Glam Lab Makeup Studios class and would just like to get this settled so that my overall experience can be one of excellence. Thank you. read more

I really was so impressed and surprised at how much I learned in the demo and the application process of the class. The instructor Golriz, was super knowledgeable and her instruction was easy to follow, concise and fun. The step by step process made me understand that there is a formula for putting on makeup and that it matters, just like measuring in baking or chemistry. I really learned a lot from Erika too. She showed me and my partner how to properly apply eyelashes. It was actually my first time applying eyelashes on someone else and it was so easy! Thank you! I would highly recommend this class if you are serious in starting your business, wanting to understand how to do makeup for yourself, or continuing your education as a professional makeup artist. I had a great experience at GlamLab Studios. It was fun and i learned alot. Having a paper copy with your name on it saying certified is a great feeling. Ive been a freelance makeup artist for 7 years and taken multiple makeup education classes, but learned more in GlamLab's Professional Makeup 101 class than any other course before. Their products they sell are amazing, I got a brand new brush set with amazing comfortable handles. ALSO, im still wearing GlamLab's eyelashes from last nights class haha! Their brand latex-free eyelash glue works wonders! I cant wait until the next class. read more

Thanks to the glam team for such an amazing experience. I learnt so much in this class today. I left the studio feeling more confident and determined to start freelancing as a makeup artist. Thanks to Golriz for being so patient with us and for assisting us when we needed help. This class was suppose to end at 5 pm, but Golriz extended the class to 1.5 hours longer. She made sure each one of us had a turn to work on each other. Also providing us with ideas of building our businesses, I found that very helpful. I took the Makeup Pro Certification class back in January 2017. I will be returning his weekend for a advanced bridal class with hair technique. What I can say is that I learned more in this 1 day class than I did at a 5 day workshop that I attended in 2016 at a school I will keep unnamed. Gol and her team show up excited to teach and I felt nothing but well supported. Amazing!!! Gol goes through every technique with such precision and was very thorough. I came here to learn some different techniques and I sure did. I learned about lash stacking, about contouring and highlight. And they were what I was hoping to learn.
