I just want to take my time and write this review about this super talented amamzing lady and Make Up artist that we are proud to have in our community. I know Maryam for a good few years now and always been popular in our community for her amazing talent and great personality but I unfortunately never had the chance to work with her. I think I do pretty good job with my make up for everyday but when there is a special event, I try to find some good make up artist that do better than me. So far, I have been to many MAC make up artists and we know how popular they are doing Make UP, never been happy how their work ended up on my face, I mean never. Found another make up artist who is my friends friend, went to her, got my hair and make up done, paid alot of money but still wasnt happy because what I wanted, never got it unfotunately. Here comes my BIG DAy, confused who to find to do my hair and make up??? One thought, of course Glam By Maryam :) So i do invite her to come to my event and also do my hair and Make up. A few weeks before the event, she says she will come do my hair and make up but she cant stay for the event because she has some family plans going on.... So here I live in Puyallup, WA and she is coming from Seattle and she wants to get my hair and make up done by 4:30 and leave to go to her family. Crazy traffic timing. It took her more than 2 hours to get to Puyallup and she wanted to leave while traffic was still crazy back to Seatlle. Having my big day, i am crazy running up and down, making sure this and that is ok and had to get some stuff done before I could get to the hotel. SO i just told Maryam to not worry and I will try to find someone else and inside I am crying lol So I couldnt do this to her because she had family plans going on and I couldnt find any earlier time so she could get my make up done and then to let her go earlier, so I decided to tell her not to worry and I will find someone else. Few days later she tells me that she cancelled all her family plans or whatever she had going on... I was shocked :/ Who does that especially family plans??? But this girl did it to make her bride Happy. No on would do such a thing, i mean no one :) Here she is to do my hair and make up! Its my big day, can I trust her, I have never worked with her, havent read any reviews about her all I know is from her other bride pictures that she does an amazing job. Does she have prodcuts that match my skin tone??? Glam by Maryam knows what she is doing. Looking at my pictures today, no one could have done this amazing and glamorous job but Maryam. My foundation perfect, my contouring amazinggg, eye make up beautiful and my whole face flawlessssss. She is very Sweet person. You will feel like you know from ages. Hands Down Maryam is the BEST mua and hair stylist I have ever came across with!! And by far has the bestest customer service and the most amazing personality ever. I was a week away from my wedding and still had no one who i personally felt would make me feel confident and beautiful on my big day. I was looking everywhere trying to settle for someone who would at least do my hair and make up Never expecting them to give me some confidence or make me feel like the princess but i found this amazing woman who i texted 5 days before my wedding and still worked her magic to fit me on her schedule. Ladies, coming from someone who has low self esteem and is constantly worried about her appearance (that would be me) tell you that basically a "stranger" who does amazing hair and make up, saved my wedding day, gave me the confidence mentally and physically for my big day and made me feel special because she took her time to get to know me and listened to every detail of my stories and to top it off she offered to make me a grilled cheese sandwich when she heard my tummy growling i mean thats like an angel who is amazingly talented to do hair and make up! I have used Maryam's services twice and both times she did an AMAZING job! Before Maryam started her business there was a serious lack of talented hair and makeup professionals in my area. I have worked with a few other girls before Maryam and I was disappointed each and every time because either they were not very skilled at their job or they would not listen to what look I wanted them to create (even with picture examples for them to go off of). Maryam is worth every $$$ because she is a the epitome of a true professional. She is never too busy to answer questions via phone/email/text the days leading up to your big event. She treats every event and every client with the same level of respect and attention. What can I say about maryam but wow. She is soo talented, professional, and so very nice. I hired maryam for engagement photo shoot and even though I called her last minute, she was so wonderful in fitting me into her schedule. The makeup she did for me was flawless and so very beautiful. She is very knowledgeable with makeup and knows what she's doing and the best part is how sweet she is! She even did my hair and clipped in my extensions. My picture's turned out amazing! Maryam is a Gem! Maryam did my hair and make up for my wedding and I have never felt prettier. Her work was just amazing. I got married by the Ocean and my hair and make up lasted the entire day and through the night. It looked flawless. She is a true artist! She was supposed to be in town for an event and even through that event got cancelled and she was sick, she still made sure she was there for my big day. I worked with Maryam for one of my photo- shoot and she did my make-up and hair. On top of being very talented make -up artist , Maryam is very pleasant to work with and very easy going, and her make- up and hair skills are just beyond amazing!!! I absolutely loved my make-up, she contoured my face beautifully using the best high definition make-up products, which my photographer loved to photograph because my face looked flawless. I found Maryam last minute for my sister Quinceañera and I'm so glad I did. And luckily us she was open the day we needed her. She was so sweet and is so talented!
