I think almost nobody comes to this park but there is a huge parking lot and several trails. I was the only car in the lot on Sunday. The land is very arid but native plants always find a way to survive.
There is a bench for sitting along the trail but no water or bathrooms except for a portable one. Apparently, this park holds a "rosemary bald" area which is native and rare. I will eventually explore the entire thing.
As for critters, I saw one tortoise making his or her way through the sandy shrubs. Life is good with a hidden nature park! read more
