Great patio and really tasty beer selection. We tried most of the beers available and they were all really tasty. Also loved that they had the beers available for purchase in cans to take home. The beer cheese and pretzels were delicious.

We stopped here for dinner on a Monday evening and we're so glad we did! The patio is wonderful and was the perfect place to eat on a sunny day. The food was amazing! We ordered from the Mexican menu: I got the rockfish bowl and my husband got the birria burrito. Both were phenomenal. We also got tortilla soups.

Ate our food too fast to capture!

A wonderful stop on our way home from a camping trip in Strathcona! We came for the thought of cold beers (on a 40 degree day!) and stayed for the food. Some quotes to describe our meal: The grip it chicken sandwich was 'genuinely the best chicken burger I've had a lot of chicken burgers' The Buffalo chicken wings were 'in the top 23% of chicken wings I've had' 'More places should make burgers like the chrome dome burger' And of course the beers were great! The only thing missing would have been some air conditioning

    Fries, gravy and ketchup

Was very good. The atmosphere was top notch, really a sense of community and bonding which hasn't really felt in a year or so with COVID doing COVID things. The staff was great and very accommodating, especially since it was our first time being there. The drinks were great, the burger was top notch. The only minor complaint I had was the fries were very salty, so if you get the fries, ask for light salt (unless you're into salty foods). Definitely will come again.

Tasty. And impossible to eat without utensils.

The beer is good. Low stars given due to deterioration of tables, wasps everywhere, kids running amok. Food has changed from $19 - $22 pizza to $5 - $7 per soft itty bitty taco. Tasty taco ingredients (had the bison with pickles) but not possible to hold/eat without utensils.

Great space good beer and a great patio

Nice and warm on a cold day. The three kinds of beers we had were very good. Would recommend anybody.

Will not come back due to customer service. We are local and had hoped for a new favorite pizza place. Oh well.

The…read moreinterior is really west coast vibes, high ceilings with a canoe above with wooden accents. We managed to snag a bar table outside in the sunshine and got down to business. It is so rare to see a pickle dip on a menu and being a pickle obsessed connoisseur (yes I've been to pickle fest) I had to order it as an appy. My husband and I devoured it in about 5 mins. Great choice to pair with a salty ripple chip! For our mains, I got the oven baked chicken wings which I give full props on the crunch factor for an oven baked wing. My only qualm was the hot sauce was more like a sweet salsa. Totally fine if that's your vibe but I would maybe rebrand it as abit like a sweet salsa over a hot sauce. When I think wings and hot sauce, I'm thinking something more like a Franks. I also was thrilled when our server asked if I wanted it on the side as the wings stay even crispier if you put the sauce on after and I was so happy she shared this as it was a great reco. My husband ordered the corn nachos and holy moly these were delicious. Amazing amount of toppings and great melted cheese ratio to chip. Slam dunk on these! I would go back simply for these! On the beer side we both loved the Foeder Vienna Lager - so delish. And I loved that they carry Nonnys as I love a good non alc option!

I got a flight of the glowing embers ale, kelp stout, dark lager, and spruce tree ale. Dark beers are usually my favourite, but my favourite out of this batch might have actually been the glowing embers, which was described as a candied smoked ale. The caramelly/smoky combination was great. The kelp stout was interesting - I found it had a slightly vegetal finish but wasn't overtly kelpy. If you like stouts, you'll probably like this. All the beers were very enjoyable. The spruce tree ale and kelp stout are probably the two to try if you want something uniquely local. The Japanese street food truck outside was also fantastic! You can grab food from them and bring it inside the brewery. They also have bar snacks (pretzels, chips) inside. The building is cool. There are front and back patios, a spacious main floor, and a hidden, cozier second floor. The bartender that served me was very friendly. I noticed that the staff was very diligent about clearing tables inside but not so much outside, I saw a table on the patio that had abandoned empty glasses sitting on it when I went out to pick up my food truck order and still there when I left.

Amazing spot for a few drinks. The patios were great and a cozy ambiance. The service was super…read morefriendly and laid back. Bar service was very happy to recommend a few things for our tastes and we got to try some great beers. Aside from the experience I love the commitment this brewery has to sustainment with water care initiatives, partnering with farms to use their spent grain and leveraging hydro power.
