The last few times I've gone the customer service in the drive thru was exceptionally rude and condescending! She acted as though I was interrupting her. Last week the same thing happened with a different girl. When they opened they had employees that actually we're doing a good job. Now I have had numerous encounters with girls who in no way shape or form should be in customer service . Who is hiring these people? I'm fed up with this! They need to train these entitled jerks about appropriate behavior. This coupled with the stupid drive thru is enough for me. They want people to zipper at the drive but all that does is allow people to cut the line. What a unpleasant experience from start to finish. Well, i do like gladys coffee,,, but this sucks because I ordered a pumpkin chai latte and a pecan pumpkin praline. Font know how they figured that out, but chai don't sound like pecan praline-doesn't . pumpkin chai latte, they hot the pumpkin correct, failed after that . Awesome coffee shop in a unique setting! Excellent selection of drinks, will definitely hit that coffee craving! This shop has been under renovations for quite some time, but their popularity was obvious from the constant line of drive thru cars. I was really excited to finally make it inside. It's pretty clear they took this over from a bank previously and they made the space their own for sure. I'm looking forward to taking some time to relax in there. The coffee selection was pretty nice, you've got everything you'd expect and few more fanciful drinks. I'm not big on sugary drinks but would explore some next time. Woooow!! This place is worth the hype. At first I was annoyed because I couldn't find parking and there were so many cars in the drive thru, but now I understand why. The people that work here are friendly. The classic breakfast sandwich (with ham) is beyond delicious. It's simple but good. Also the coffee! Wow! I got the red velvet mocha. This is the best coffee shop! My barista was kind and made the most delicious latte called Moonlight Magic (loved the iridescent sparkle on top). The WiFi is fast, there are some outlets for laptops, and I liked the decor. I was visiting (and on my way to the airport), but I'd love to come back one day for sure. I went to purchase two Breakfast Jack Bagel Sammy's with Steak as the protein and I keep eating and eating it but there's no steak. I look & the steak piece is so small for this being a $15.00 sandwich. This is ridiculous. I tried to call to inform them that I barely got what I paid for. I've added photos to show how there is practically no steak & it was the smallest piece I've ever seen in the whole sandwich and the only piece. Ive never dined inside and this is specifically for the drive through. Service is always on point and quick. I want to gate keep this place but I think it deserves recognition. Everything I come to SD, this is on my list of places to go to for breakfast. I've had their king kong frozen drink which was pretty good - peanut butter forward. Most recently tried their strawberry banana ice cream smoothie. Not too overly sweet and very mild. One very small negative - found a big chunk of strawberries which was frozen and it was pretty sour. You can't get them all so its not that big of a deal. The one thing I really come in for is specifically a breakfast sandwich - spicy jack. I don't normally eat turkey sandwiches but this is a banger of a sandwich. Slight kick and tasty with the negatives - oily and messy but worth it. Bacon and the bagel give it a good crunch. It's a must try if you're into spicy sandwiches. read more

I used to go to the big named coffee places on a regular basis. You know which ones. I no longer do. I choose to come here instead. A more of a mom and pop smaller business but don't let that description fool you. They deliver everything the bigger guy offers in drink and food options but better. First of all. The drinks from hot to cold are exceptionally good. Cheaper and in my opinion taste better. Not sure what the blend exactly is. I am not a coffee expert when it comes to the roast but my palette enjoys the taste and aroma. The food is insane. Currently I am addicted to the Chorizo Breakfast-O~ two chorizo patties, scrambled egg, tomato, red onion, cheese, guacamole sandwiched between two English muffins. A power breakfast that is full of flavor. Trust me. There is a lot going on in there and I like it. Currently there is no indoor dining. It's all drive thru but the line of cars move fast. The employees are pleasant from the ordering to pickup. Even in the early morning. They have smiles on their faces. A great way to start the day. Support local businesses especially the good ones. They have a large menu of food options with breakfast served all day until close. The best part is the convenient drive thru but they also have a large cafe indoors if you want to study or hang out. Their full coffee bar offers customizable drinks with non-dairy options for my lactose-intolerant girlies. My personal favorites are the iced moonlight magic latte with oat milk, the moonlight magic cold brew, and the iced bee's knees with oat milk. Today I had the ultimate breakfast sandwich + the works and it was just okay compared to their other sandwich options so I recommend the pesto sandwich or any of the vegan sandwiches. The Dirty Harry (drink) is amazing. Very sweet, so if you don't like sweet coffee, steer away from it. For me, it is the best! Also ordered the avocado toast and my husband ordered the ultimate breakfast sandwich. Both FABULOUS and fairly priced compared to other similar items at other coffee shops. The only downside is, their indoor dining area is closed (based on other reviews, it seems to have been closed for a long time now), only the drive thru is open and therefore the line was quite long. It did move fairly fast, but my husband and I initially walked up to try and eat in and found that it was closed, the hard way. Note, this is my second time trying it. The first time; my husband got me the lavender latte and that drink left a lot to be desired. Overall, great coffee shop. Highly recommend. read more

I would give 0 stars on this review if I could. The posted closing time is 2:00 PM, but when I was entering the drive thru line at approximately 1:45 PM, I was refused service. I was the last car in line when an employee came outside, placed a cone directly in front of my vehicle, and rudely informed me that they would not be taking my order. I politely explained that I was only ordering one drink and asked if they could please take my order, especially since it was 15 minutes before their posted closing time. Instead of offering any explanation or courtesy, the employee simply wagged his finger at me and walked away. What makes this even more disappointing is that I am a regular customer and visit this coffee shop frequently. If the business intends to stop serving customers before 2:00 PM, then the posted hours should reflect that. Being turned away 15 minutes before closing is frustrating enough, but being treated with such disrespect and dismissiveness is completely unacceptable. read more

Not only are there drinks and food immaculately crafted to perfection and excellent balances of flavors and fun, new innovative ideas for seasonal drinks, their food is quicker but restaurant quality sandwiches and bowls and breakfast items that I recommend anyone. Honestly, I use to love this place. The food is pretty good for a cafe and the coffee is consistent. I believe the downfall of this business is going to be their customer service. I understand that they're busy but as someone who also works in a customer facing environment I wouldn't communicate to customers in this manner. Most of the time when I order I get met with sighs and attitude and feel as though as me being there and ordering is an inconvenience to them. It is an awful feeling to have especially with how expensive it is to eat out. My order normally costs a little more than an hours worth of my wage, and with this I'd rather spend my money on a place where I feel welcomed as a customer. Now by no means do I expect them to have Dutch bros or chic fil a level of customer service, but I do expect to at least not be met with an attitude and sighs over the microphone. I came here on a Saturday around 12, which was a crowded time; but fully understandable. The employees were super friendly as well as patient while ordering food and drinks. I order the Dirty Harry which was super good, but extremely expensive and small. I ordered the large and it was no more than 18oz.... which is NOT a large.
