During my time there, I just got a lot of awkward vibes and looks from the owners son. his wife was a very lovely lady. His father was very respectful and gave me an opportunity to come in. however, when I wasn't able to stay on board and had to leave, I was told that I would be compensated still for the time I did put in. the owner Son told me to check in the mail. That was the first week of the month. Yesterday was 30 September. I called just to let them know that I did not receive it with a voicemail voicemail . the owner told me that the check has been sitting there since the 22nd and that all last checks don't get mailed out so I'm not sure why the sun and his vibes told me different. I picked up the check. Did not cause the scene nor say anything. But just today, October 1, 2026 I went in to see if they repair suede shoes. his energy was so rude and nasty telling me they did not service Timberland boots which I was OK with but what I wasn't OK with was asking if he can refer me to someone in town because I'm not From Ohio. He instructed me to go to Detroit. where I'm originally from with the nastiest look on his face. No referrals to anyone in the city just go back to Detroit and find someone. Very poor customer service. emphasis on nasty attitude and I would hate to think it's because of the color of my skin, but as I was there, I felt like all eyes was on Me when himself said that I was doing a great job. I will never work for this service again. I would never take anyone there nor I ever go there for service. (either that or they could call someone over the phone and have them run my card but I wouldn't get a receipt) the ATM was only 2 or three blocks away so that wasn't so bad but I'll tell you what severely upset me... the bottoms of EVERY SLEEVE that I brought were wrinkled just above the cuffs. (When I say "Wrinkled" I mean it looks like a kid tried to give my sleeves an "Indian burn" right there... they look like crumpled paper!!) I brought more shirts to them and informed them that it was unacceptable, I was told that it only happened b/c I had fitted shirts but they could rectify that and it wouldn't be an issue... I gave them 28 dress shirts that day... any guess on how many of these shirts are horribly wrinkled where the cuff meets the sleeve?? if you guessed EVERY SHIRT, you're correct! I paid 98 dollars cash for these shirts to be cleaned an pressed, 98 dollars!! and out of the 28 shirts, not one of them came out the way any of my former dry cleaners would have had it done. the plus is that the shirts are clean... and as far as I can tell in one piece so... i guess thats worth one extra star.

This was my second time using this laundromat. I arrived around 8:00 PM with three baskets of…read morelaundry, but I only planned to wash two loads because the laundromat closes at 10:00 PM. Shortly after I arrived, an employee approached me and said that if I wanted to wash the items in the third basket, I would need to start that load within five minutes. I explained that I wasn't going to wash the third basket because there wouldn't be enough time before closing. I later took that basket back out to my car. After washing my two loads, I was moving the second load to the dryers when the employee became upset. She told me I was barely going to have enough time to dry my clothes and accused me of lying because she thought I had started the third load after telling her I wouldn't. She repeatedly asked where the third basket was, and I explained that I had already returned it to my car, though she didn't seem to believe me. Because of the interaction, I decided not to put my second load in the dryer. Instead, I packed the wet clothes into a laundry basket, placed clean sheets on top, and took everything to my car. As I was preparing to leave, the employee came outside, knocked on my car window, and apologized, saying, "Sorry I was short with you. I thought you had lied to me." She then asked whether I had put my clothes in the dryer. I told her no, because I knew it was close to closing time and wanted to make sure she could leave on time. As a result, I left with wet clothes in my car and now have to wash them again.

Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend this business due to their refusal to take responsibility for damaging expensive property and their complete lack of communication. Recently, we picked up his laundry to find the front zipper on his insulated Carhartt overalls was completely destroyed/separated. These are heavy-duty work pants that cost around $200. When we contacted the business, they claimed their machines "couldn't do that" and that the zipper must have been broken before drop-off. This is factually impossible. My husband drove directly from work to the laundry service and took the overalls off inside the business lobby to hand them over. Your own security cameras will clearly show him walking in wearing them and taking them off--which proves the zipper was in working order when they entered your care. To make matters worse: 1. We have been patient customers. A few months ago, an ink pen was left in the wash and ruined several items. We didn't ask for a refund then; we were understanding and let them fix what they could. 2. Now that we have a serious claim, the employees are giving us the runaround, refusing to provide the owner's contact information, and my emails to the website are being ignored. Accidents happen, but refusing to check your own cameras, blaming the customer, and ghosting us is unacceptable business practice. We simply want the cost of the repair or replacement covered. Until this is resolved, I warn others to be careful with valuable clothing here.
