So we did a fat kid thing today and walked from Disney Paris to the subway after a long day and took the subway back to the exit which was closest to this location. Boy that was a mistake as the music festival was going on and they locked the mall so we couldn't get out and this old man and his kid were like don't go outside it's dangerous. It was like a zombie movie. We finally had to walk underground through the parking structure to get out to which we then hit over a million people partying. We fought our way for the half mile till we got to the gelato place called Glade Bachir. We stood in line which was very long and was greeted by an employee who offered a sample while we stood in line. He gave me the special which is vanilla with pistachios. It was delicious. So my wife and I ordered the largest size they had which was 4 scoops for 13.50 euros. The gelato was stretchy and creamy and delicious. Not overly sweet. Apparently my wife informed me later this was like Lebanese gelato. It was delicious either way and the way they made it was awesome as they put a scoop of vanilla then pistachio to each layer. Then the last outer layer just lathered in pistachio and smushed. It was delicious. I'd come back.
As a pistachio lover, this place looks like it was made in my dreams. The ambience of the restaurant and the quickness of the staff was fantastic. We came in the evening after dinner and there was a super long line winding outside of the store however, the employees came by throughout the line and took orders and gave samples. This made the line go a little faster, but it was worth the wait. Once we got up to the counter they began prepping our orders. I got a small vanilla cone with their signature pistachio outside and it was fantastic. Every bite was pistachiliscous and I couldn't get enough. I definitely recommend if you're in the area and love pistachios.
While visiting The Centre Pompidou, I came across Glace Bachir nearby and decided to try Lebanese ice cream for the first time, even though it was rainy and cold. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, offering free samples since we seemed curious. We ordered a medium-sized cone, which was surprisingly generous--equivalent to two or three scoops, perfect for sharing between two people. We chose their specialty: orange blossom-flavored ice cream topped with crushed pistachios. It was absolutely delicious, with a chewy, melt-resistant texture reminiscent of Turkish ice cream. The flavor was rich and unforgettable, making me wish we had something like this in the U.S. If you're in the area and looking for a sweet treat, I highly recommend Glace Bachir!
Honestly, for what you can get in Paris, this ice cream wasn't that great more for the photo, really. The pistachios didn't add much; they were a bit soggy and got stuck in my teeth. The milk ice cream was quite bland, lacking strong flavor. The sample tasted much better than a whole cone of it. We also tried the rose flavor, which was slightly better, but still not worth the price. On the upside, the line moved quickly. Staff came around offering samples of their famous flavors as you waited, and the whole system was efficient. The staff was friendly, but it was very crowded inside.
Yum!!! A unique ice cream you should try while visiting. It's a slightly stretchy texture and melts much slower. I loved it. I had the traditional flavor, a slightly vanilla and orange with the pistachios on top! It was perfect. If you have been eating treats all over Paris.. get the small, it's plenty! The staff was very friendly and spoke English well so I could ask questions. Grab your ice cream and find a spot on the bench outside.. but watch out for the pigeons! lol.
Ice cream and bad impulse control don't mix well for me, so after having dinner right across from Glace Bachir I found myself waiting in line to get some ice cream as soon as I left. This small little ice cream shop had a lot of people waiting in line, but the quick staff moved everyone along very quickly and before I could write a Yelp review, It was my turn to order. I've never had Lebanese ice cream before so I was super excited to try some, after glancing over the many flavours I decide to just go with a simple chocolate waffle cone and boy oh boy, talk about being absolutely delicious, packed with chocolatey flavour and hitting the spot. Is it the best ice cream I had in Paris? Now that I think about it, probably. Overall, Glace Bachir is a great spot to stop for not just Lebanese ice cream, but ice cream in general. The staff here was super friendly to the kids in front of me, quick to move the line, and the product was wonderful to go with it. Hungry? Want ice cream? Glace Bachir will take care of you.
Okay so I went to the one in Montmartre and I'm reviewing here since they don't have their own yelp page! So good. The milk flavor with pistachio? TO DIE FOR. There's nothing like it here at home. Simple as that, I wish I had the stomach to try all the flavors (especially that rose petal. I'm crying.) Service was speedy and it was nice and clean inside. :)
I kept seeing people walking around with this and knew I had to try it for myself. We went with the original milk ice cream topped with pistachios, and it did not disappoint! The ice cream was creamy and rich, and the pistachio topping was the perfect complement--so flavorful! It did melt pretty quickly, but that didn't take away from how delicious it was. Definitely worth trying if you're in the area!
Glace Bachir serves delicious ice cream, and they definitely don't skimp out on pistachios (the pistachio topping is extra unless you order the Achta/speciality ice cream)! Although they were busy, they offered everyone samples of different ice cream flavors while waiting in line. Their ice cream is on the pricier side, but definitely worth it!
We passed by this Lebanese ice cream shop almost everyday we were staying in the area. There was always a massive line so we were trying to wait for the right time to go. Turns out, that was around 7:45 on a Wednesday evening. There was a small line but it moves so quickly because they are so efficient there. First, they'll bring you a menu in line and even give you a sample. Then they'll take your order (also online, where you also pay). Then you wait until you get to the counter where you give them your ticket, and they scoop it right in front of you. If you get the pistachios, be sure to get your camera ready because they really load it up and it's a sight to see. Hubby and I shared the achta, which we were told is the best part of the milk, rolled in pistachio. I don't even know what the "best part of the milk" means but the ice cream was so creamy and smooth. I only wish we did just wait in line the previous days because we went on our last evening, so we didn't get to have it again.
This place was such a fun experience! A local recommended this as a must-see in this arrondissement. The line may look long, but staffers bring you samples in line, take your order, and check you out ahead of time (it's not a scam). The ice cream has a lighter, more whipped consistency than American ice cream. We chose a Neapolitan variety of flavors. The pistachios make for a nice texture variation.

First Impressions: WOW this place is popular. My sister and I were walking around and exploring Paris nightlife when she and I were both struck by an urge to get ice cream. She pulled up our trusty YELP and this spot popped up about a 5 minute walk from us. SOLD! We were ready to go. Unfortunately we weren't the only ones who had a craving for ice cream because the line was LONG! We settled in for a wait, but the line was pretty fast. The Noms: Ok, so I only had Turkish ice cream once (in Istanbul Turkey) and it was pretty good... but I never had Turkish ice cream like this! The energy and the hustle behind the counter and the fancy way the staff coats everything in crushed pistachio... what entertainment! It definitely helped pass the time in line. The ice cream is creamy and smooth and flavorful. I could have done without the whipped cream, and I tried to say so but I don't think the guy preparing my cone heard me. It's ok, after I tried it I whipped it off and tossed the whole hunk in the trash. My intuition was right because without the whipped cream, it really allowed the ice cream to shine through. I got a scoop of fleu de lait along with a scoop of blackberry and my sister got the pistachio. Very, VERY good. The blackberry is my favorite still, though the fleur de lait was very unique. We enjoyed our cones standing on the sidewalk since there was no seating for the ice cream spot. In Conclusion: I would 10/10 come back. The scoop portions were very generous so it's quite possible to share. I really enjoyed the blackberry, it is one of my favorite flavors regardless of where I go for ice cream as it's very difficult to mess up. read more

Found this small ice cream spot near Le Centre Pompidou. You will need to queue to the right and purchase your scoop sizes first (petite, medium, grande). Pistachio coating is 3€ extra. Take your receipt (ticket) and queue to the left which leads into the shop. A server behind the counter will take your ticket, asks if you want a cup or cone, and scoops your flavor. Whip cream topping is free. read more

Had to try this spot out since there was always a line. Came by and there was only one group in front so I had to try it. I got what they're known for which is their specialty ice cream (tasted kind of like a vanilla) with ground pistachio on the outside. It was around €6.50 for a double. I got one pistache and one of their specialty on a cone with whip cream. They weren't stingy with the pistachio, but the ice cream itself was good. Nothing too special besides the rolled pistachio on the outside. The ice cream is light and creamy. Their special ice cream didn't taste much different from the pistachio. I would say there are other ice cream spots that are more flavorful and creamy. read more

Amazing ice cream! They have many flavors to choose from but the classic is a cream ice cream similar to vanilla covered in pistachios. The line will be long but it's extremely organized and moves fast. Everyone working there is really nice and very helpful. We ordered the small and it was more then enough for my tummy. Glace Bachir is an up-and-coming joint that serves Lebanese ice cream. Having grown up in Los Angeles, I've had my fair share of Lebanese ice cream, and so I wanted to see if this one in Paris matched up to it. After popping in on a rainy afternoon and greeted warmly by the friendly woman (possibly the store owner) behind the counter, I ordered three scoops inside of the standard-size cup: pistachio, rose, and "choco intense." Interestingly enough, I was told by the server that there was no limit to how many flavors I chose in each cup size, which was fantastic. Receiving my order, I sat down at the small counter facing the street, tasting the ice cream while people-watching at the same time. ...and let me tell you, Glace Bachir's ice cream is SPOT-ON, at least with what I've had in the United States. Each flavor was bold in taste and texture: my favorite would have to be the pistachio, which tasted so fresh and had bits of nut inside of it. I could imagine that the pistachios were just chopped up earlier that day, to make the ice cream itself. At less than 5 euros for a standard-size cone (and however many flavors you want), it's a solid deal. I'm glad to have tried this place out, and I hope it goes big soon! read more

Very interesting ice cream spot! I've never had Lebanese ice cream before this, so it was a good experience! The texture is a bit like Turkish ice cream in that it's pretty sticky and gooey. The process was a little tricky so I will explain it here: 1. Order at the counter to your right upon entering 2. You can choose a size and whether you want to try their special orange blossom flavor which includes the additional pistachio topping. They have a few other flavors in addition to their special flavor. But if you want to try their special flavor, you must get the special flavor package. 3. You take your ticket to the people scooping the ice cream. Tell them all the flavors you want upfront and they scoop them all into your cup or cone! I personally didn't love the orange blossom specialty flavor. It didn't have much of a taste aside from being really sweet. My favorites were actually the rose and black currant. The rose was nice and light while the black currant was a little sour so it balanced out nicely. The pistachios on top were a nice touch as it adds some crunch and saltiness to the ice cream giving it more texture and levels of flavor. Overall the people were very nice and the ice cream was pretty good. I would give it a go if you've never had Lebanese or Turkish ice cream just to experience it! But it's not life changing or anything. read more

I was going to get ice cream somewhere else but I walked past this and said to myself I must try Lebanese ice cream. The rose petal ice cream was divine. I mixed it with vanilla and topped it off with pistachios and whip cream. It wasn't overly sweet like most American ice cream is and it was just the right of creaminess. Delicious! read more

Delicious, organic authentic ice cream, with fresh crunchy pistachio toppings. The kids love mixing the flavors and the adults will appreciate the classic qashta! Hands down the best ice cream I've ever had! It was so thick and creamy when you lick it the ice cream just twirls and lingers. Usually ice cream melts by the time you are half way down the cone but nope not Bachir. It remained its consistency through out. I would most def recommend this spot to everyone!!!! There's one thing that happened with my flight getting cancelled!! I got to try this place!!!! Yaaaaaaay!!! Made my frown turn upside down!! Thank you to the fine man putting this amazingness for me. Waited years to get back to Paris again and this place was at the top of my must try's. As a big pistachio lover, it did not disappoint. The workers are very friendly and move the long line very fast. We got the achta ice cream rolled in pistachio. The medium was HUGE so portions are bigger than expected and still devoured it all. The ice cream isn't creamy but the taste was amazing and you gotta get the cream on top. read more

If you want some delicious icecream, this is definitely the place. We ordered a big cone with pistachios cover, and we could pick as many flavours as we wanted in four scoops. They mixed the flavours in the scoop. Unfortunately they didn't have cream at the moment, but the portion was generous even without the cream. The price is a little bit higher than the other icecream spots, but it worth it. read more

Do not come to Paris without trying ice cream from Bachir!!! Seriously!! I only discovered it on my last night but would have gone every day if I'd found it earlier. The long line is worth every minute -- the ice cream is insanely delicious, portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Everyone was very friendly and the best part is that regardless of which size you choose you can select an *unlimited* number of flavors to include in your cone or cup. I had dark chocolate, pistachio, and rose petal (!!) which may have been the best trio of anything in the history of trios. Even if it is pouring rain or freezing cold, this is a MUST if you are nearby (or even if you aren't). read more

It was my first time trying Lebanese ice cream and I loved it! I got their signature flavor achta (milk cream infused with orange blossoms) and rose petal. If you opt for toppings, it comes entirely covered in pistachio topped with whipped cream. The ice cream texture is really unique, almost taffy like. It's creamy and thick without being overly rich and it contrasts nicely with some crunch from the pistachio. And flavors are lovely, especially rose petal - nice hints of rose without being overpowering. I definitely recommend it. read more

Friendly staff that is willing to go the extra mile to make their customers happy. They asked if I wanted a thick milkshake and without hesitation I said yes. At no extra charge they handed an extra scoop of ice cream. The choco intense ice cream is the bomb dot com, period. My wife also had the petale de rose and the fraise (strawberry) which were also tasty. What are you waiting for? Try this place out! read more
