I went here a little while back... it was my first massage and it was okay. The individual who did…read moremy massage was very honest about making sure it was a full hour massage. She did really well, especially in the arms and legs which I honestly wasn't expecting to be massaged so it was a nice surprise. On the downside, I wasn't a fan of the person playing Asian politics while there was music that was supposed to be soothing that was also playing in the background... and the hole where you're supposed to breathe in... yeahhh.... smelled absolutely horrible. It was a gift certificate, and I ended up buying my boyfriend one as well, and he came back feeling pretty awkward and kind of embarrassed which was disappointing. He said that they didn't really give him clear instructions on anything as this was also his first time, so he stripped naked and wrapped himself in a towel. (I honestly didn't find this weird... is it weird?) Then the lady who did his massage came in and practically told him he's not supposed to be naked. Then she went out into the hallway and had what appeared to be an argument between the two girls about who's going to do the massage. So yeah, we won't be back.

With my job, I move a lot and after moving to Idaho just over a year ago, I've been on the hunt for a talented therapist. Wow, is there ever a scarcity of talented and available therapists in Boise/Eagle/Meridian! Found one! Five stars to Julia at Far East just behind Red Robin off Eagle road. The studio is fine and perfectly clean and in a good location. Rate is $60/hour which is a little below the going average and much less than a 5-star therapist could charge. I would put Julia as one of my top five therapists ever and I've seen a hundred at least. Be advised that she doesn't speak much English, but don't worry, She will find any areas hurting or in need of stretching out . You don't need to say anything. The sign out front says walk-ins welcome but I'd definitely call for an appointment. There is another therapist there but I've never used her.

It can be hard to get the same massage therapist every time or maintain a regular schedule, but for me that actually works better since my availability is always changing last minute.
