I absolutely LOVE this lil boutique grocery store in Venice! Such delicious, unique, and hard to find goodies in this local neighborhood store from pre-made sandwiches, to fermented veggies, to gourmet chocolates bars, to a full wine cabinet, to dried pasta. I would say this place is like the local/farmers market esque version of Erewhon. Service has always been great every time I've been in. It's definitely an expensive store, but you're paying for the quality of product in my opinion. It's a cute little neighborhood store on the inside, with a couple tables to sit on the outside. I'm honestly shocked this place didn't have a higher rating on Yelp. I saw a couple comments on the tipping prompt at a grocery store but they do also have a coffee shop inside where you can order drinks, baked goods, etc and they use the same POS so my assumption is the tipping prompt is for that purpose and if for some reason you'd like to tip your cashier checking you out for groceries, more power to ya. Parking note: it's in the heart of downtown Venice so parking is a bit nutty (and you'll likely have to pay) - just something to be mindful of if you're in a time crunch.

Stumbled by here today while wandering Venice into this lovely little grocery haven! Has some beautiful craft artisan deliciousness such as chocolates, unique olive oils, and fun foodie gifts. Not to mention craft boozes and pastries from their own bakery. Enjoyed everything I bought including the croissant with white sesame (like a nutty butter spread), ham and cheese croissant, and the incredibly deliciously rich olive oil lemon cake recommended by the nice counter lady who was oh so patient with my many questions. Love! PS: highly recommend putting your croissant in the air fryer for extra flakiness!

Expensive but super cool little grocery shop with unusual and high-quality products. I gravitated to the kombucha selection and was delighted to find two brands I hadn't tried before, Fermensch, and Walker Brothers.

If you like all things GJusta or Gjelina this place is heaven. That means you savor their fresh bakery goodies, like their charcuterie, cheeses, and/or enjoy their healthy homemade items. The store has a wide variety of unique delicacies and drinks - wines/beers I've never heard of from all over the world by the bottle or can; pasta; frozen dumplings; dips; chips; salads; fish; and then some. You won't be disappointed but maybe a little depleted of your wallet. A great spot to walk in and explore.

I purchased fresh rolls but they only have the Krispy Kreme bags and I didn't realize the bag has a upc code so unfortunately it scanned although I knew what I was going to type and the qty but the system will call for help, even when I didn't need it... Well lets just say when I saw him he was on his cell phone texting and when I politely said excuse me he put his finger to basically tell me to wait and he then proceeded to text whomever he was texting rather than help a customer...I was then annoyed. I explained what occurs and he said for just a donut (as if he wasn't aware) and I said not for 2 rolls but the only bags available at the KK bag that contains a upc code so it triggers the system thinking I needed help when it's not needed. At the end unfortunately he needed to authorize a final time although we both know its now a 2-step process. Again I had to say excuse me I need your authorization...not polite, not managerial like, as if I was bothering him to do his job (wow). Again while the other staff, even a nice lady that runs the front makes it worth while coming here, he turned me off to not even want to come back. While telling staff to not have their phone out to text maybe you should do the same with this particular manager. 3 stars are for the rockstar staff but minus two for the manager you chose to hire.

Gerbacio in produce was really friendly and humorous. I learned that this location offers fresh fried fish which is not something I normally would think Ralphs would have but Ebony had shared some samples with us. Plenty of parking in the large lot. Venice can get busy but didn't have a hard time finding a spot.

Quite naturally, she was able to locate things at this particular location that mine have, but in different aisles and sections of the store. And of course with me being the good son, I paid for the various items she wanted. What I wasn't prepared for was this awesome duo of David and Santiago, both of whom offered levels of customer service as a collective tandem that I had yet to see in a grocery type of setting. Despite a line behind us, cashier David went out of his way to separately bag numerous dish detergent soaps my mom had gotten, clearly pointing out how the last thing we would want would be any soap remnants leaking onto our groceries which ironically enough has happened to us before. Santiago handled the bagging aspect of the transaction with a smooth flow, smile, and great personality, enabling us to get in and out in no time. You can tell these two gel well, and it's clearly a credit to the Ralph's brand, and at the very least this storm particular.

Yay...SO, on my way home I decided to come here. Ever since my local Whole Foods closed, I have not ventured over to the Venice behemoth store!!! It's a bit overwhelmingly ginormous! Ofc, I spent the entire gift card $ on some delicious items to help me completely get over this flu which has lasted almost 10 days! I did get a flu shot this year but the new strain is long lasting... I wore a super protective mask that fit snugly over my face even though I was told I couldn't spread it to anyone!
