Giuliana's is the best. Top notch restaurant on Staten Island. I've eaten in the main dining room as well having dinner parties in the other rooms. We had our small wedding reception there in August 2023 as well as a few of my children's birthday dinner parties. Food, ambiance, service...can't be beat!! Last night I think I visited the most lowkey underrated Italian restaurant in Staten Island! It's my birthday and my husband and some friends surprised me with a dinner here! First of all it was a Saturday night I was blown away with the live singer they had at the restaurant all night! I think it was the owners wife who sang a few songs she sounds amazing! The restaurant is very cozy very intimate very classy very nice ! Very anything you can think of. The service was great the waiter was on top of everything we never had to ask for drinks he would just look over and say another round as long as they said yes or I said yes boom ! The menu is short and sweet lots of GREAT OPTIONS! We ordered: Apps: Fried artichokes (absolutely delicious probably my favorite) Caprice (delicious very fresh) Arugula salad ( the goat cheese on this was great I would of wanted maybe a little bit more all over the salad and the lemon dressing oh my lord that dressing should be a food group lol ) The appetizers are shareable there was 5 ppl at my table and there was definitely enough for everyone to share from . Entrees : Linguine in clam sauce (this dish comes with actual clams in the shells delicious) The picante (this is two very big pork chops in a spicy sauce with potatoes and veggies. The veggies definitely absorb the heat but the pork chop was so tender and delicious wow I drooled trying a piece of the pork chop and the veggies) Salmon ( a nice pretty piece of salmon with potatoes sautéed spinach with whole pieces of garlic and 2 grilled shrimps.. the shrimp chefs kiss omg so good I ordered 5 more on the side the shrimp here is soooo good trust me you would want them with anything you order !!! Stuffed rigatoni ( was a nice serving and the sauce was creamy ) Chicken parm ( the chicken parm !!!!! The chicken was nicely breaded great flavor the spaghetti was cooked perfectly) Dessert : Cannoli ( the filling was the best filling I have ever had and I LOVE Italian pastries but this has got to be one of the best cannoli's I have had at a restaurant it tasted homemade and not store bought) I promise you'll love it Peanut butter pie (the peanut butter pie was my birthday slice I love anything peanut butter this was drizzled with chocolate and I think caramel or peanut butter syrup. Sooooo good very delish. ) The next time I visit I'm definitely ordering the pie and cannoli because I can't choose lol !! Double expresso with sambuca Cappuccino (was the perfect way to wrap up my birthday dinner) The staff here doesn't rush you out which I love . If you come on the weekends they have a live singer it's perfect to tie this experience together! My wife threw me a 60th birthday party here with 17 guests and everything was amazing from the food to the service.. Everything was fresh and the food was delicious. I went with the chicken rollatini which was tasty.. My in-laws who are in the 80s love the food so that says a lot, especially being traditional Sicilian .. The only setback is is that it's located on a corner on Home Boulevard so give yourself time as parking scarce yet. they do have valet yet. Was invited to a party here. The place visually was nothing special since we were seated under a tent and the temperature was crazy hot near the heaters and cold breezes from the seams of the tent. The service was typical. The food was nothing special especially after going up in Brooklyn in an Italian family. Nothing to rave about and not much to enjoy. My wife and I tried this place for lunch on a whim, and boy am I glad we did. Upon entering we were greeting with a warm, cozy, inviting atmosphere. The hostess that greeted us was friendly, accommodating, a very nice. The wait staff was equally as welcoming and they were very attentive to us. We tried the prix-fixe lunch menu, which I definitely recommend. For my appetizer, I tried the mozzarella with tomatoes and olives. My wife tried the stuffed mushrooms. Both dishes were fresh, flavorful, and prepared and cooked to perfection. I normally don't like mushrooms at all, but I loved those mushrooms. For my main course, I had the tilapia oreganata. It was served with potatoes and vegetables in a white wine and lemon sauce. Absolutely delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly. It was tender and flaky, but not mushy, and tasted fresh like it was caught that day. The vegetables were lightly grilled and the potatoes melted in my mouth. For dessert, we were provided with tiramisu and coffee which presented a delicious finish to a great lunch. The tiramisu was rich, creamy, and bore the taste of a delicious espresso to round out the sweetness. I would recommend Giuliana's to anyone looking for a great Italian lunch or dinner, and I will definitely be back many times. read more

Let's start with the food, it was OK, not large portions (not surprise for a restaurant like this). Calamari, the best out of all the dishes. It wasn't chewy like most restaurants. For that in itself 2 stars. Ambience: it was crowded. Every body was put into tents, not much walking space at all. (Restaurants owner trying to get their moneys worth, with crowding up the place, too much.) just like overcrowding Staten Island. Last but not least was service: the waiter did not speak English to good, brought me the wrong glass of wine when I asked him he said "we're all out of that" but yet 2 minutes later, someone else ordered the same thing and receive the wine. I asked him, I thought you said it was out of stock? He said oh I found more. You would think he would tell me that he found more of that brand of wine, but no, must have slipped his mind. To top it off, we waited 32 minutes for our first plate of food. We're not talking mean cause we're just talking about the pasta. Seriously bread and pasta 32 minute wait? Who knows maybe the manager was off that day or something but it was very busy and we were dining at a private party occasion. There was two other private parties as well, and they receive their food way before we did. I was majorly disappointed because everyone told me how good this restaurant was. Based on overwhelming good reviews and knowing Giulainna's offers a pre fix lunch menu, I decided to try this restaurant for a friend's lunch and meet-up. I am so glad I did, since the service, food and venue all added to a wonderful outing. Robert our waiter could not have been more attentive. Friendly, efficient, yet giving us all the the time we wanted to relax and chat. The pre fix lunch was well worth the $15.95. A plate of warm mouth-watering bread covered with cheese began the meal followed by an appetizer, entree, coffee (or tea) and tiramisu. Every thing we ordered was delicious. There's no food. An average pizzeria has the same menu. There's no price. Actually, it's overpriced. . It would have been on par with a pizzeria. But it's more expensive.
