My eggplant parmigiana was home made perfect. This is a no-frills, old style café with genuine Italian heritage somewhere. In a growing town where you can easily spend $50 for a good meal at one of the two or three really fancy-schnancie places in town, it's nice to know you can get your gourmet in with a $9.95 dish as good as anywhere in Italy! The bread is right out of the oven and light as a feather - although nobody offered butter or olive oil and garlic with it. The salad was plenty big, very fresh, if a little unimaginative. The atmosphere is small town typical with taxi yellow walls and painting prints from a Motel 6 garage sale, but clean as a pin and pleasant. Oh, and the waitress could be Miss Texas. So it's a win win.

It was Sunday a week ago and I was driving thru town during the lunch hour and I decided to stop here and eat. Upon walking in, I noticed that this is a simple restaurant that consists of just a medium size dining room that was mostly filled with people. After looking at the menu, I chose the spaghetti your way which let me pick meat sauce for $6.95 and adding mushrooms for another dollar. During lunch the meal comes with a salad and garlic bread. First to come out were the salad and bread. It was a good salad and adequate in size. While I was only given one piece of garlic bread, it was good too. About 10 minutes the entree arrived. I thought it was a decent looking bowl of pasta with a nice tasting marinara sauce. For the cost and amount of food given it represented excellent value. Also my table service was good. Afterwards, I visited the restroom accessed thru the kitchen and found it to be in order. I like this Italian restaurant and would be happy to return. Good tasting food at very reasonable prices.

Linguine primavera! This is so good and I highly recommend this restaurant! The pasts and a great and the house rolls are great.

Linguine primavera is the best! I love this restaurant and eat here every time I'm in the area.

Surprised to find this quality in such a small place. Food was fresh, made-to-order, with homemade bread & pasta.

Surprisingly good cheap Italian food for a small town. Pizzas are on the big side. The rolls are tasty but they do charge for extra rolls.

We went for a late lunch expecting the lunch crowd would be over. We were warmly greeted when we walked in and were taken immediately to our table. Only a couple of tables were open, and that worked great for us. We ordered cheese bread to start and continued to review the menu. Selections were quite nice, and we all ended up ordering something different (no one ordered pizza, although they looked delicious). I ordered baked tortellini with a side of meatballs. Also, all of our orders came with a choice of soup or salad. Food came pretty fast and was just as we ordered. Food was so hot that it could burn your mouth. However, that didn't stop us from digging in. The food was really tasty and before you could say it, it was gone. We ate so much that we didn't leave any room for dessert. Our waiter was really good. He checked on us frequently but was not too invasive. Will I return? Definitely:)

Side salads came with the pasta. They were okay, but drenched in dressing. The pasta was also way over sauces and heavy, but tasty. My daughter enjoyed the linguine and her friend liked her salad. The Margarita pizza was more of a cheese pizza with slices do tomato and a few springs of basil. Our server had to be asked to refill waters. And the food took a while to come out. The food and drinks were reasonably priced though. Ambiance is white table cloths and typical Italian restaurant vibe.

My husband and I stumbled upon this place while traveling, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the history in the air. Antique items are displayed throughout, and as you enjoy authentic Italian recipes passed down for generations, you're surrounded by photos of those very generations who built this restaurant's legacy. It's a place that feels both warm and welcoming, like stepping into someone's home. I ordered the Trio, which included lasagna that was absolutely phenomenal--rich, flavorful, and clearly made using the family's secret recipe. My husband went for a pizza, made in-house with the freshest ingredients. Everything came out piping hot, and the flavors were out of this world. The service was excellent, and the manager was kind enough to give us a tour of the property. We were blown away by how beautiful it is, especially the outdoor stage--this would be an amazing wedding venue! And whatever you do, don't leave without trying their bread pudding. Trust me. I took some to-go and didn't regret it! P.S. Jan, when I said I'd wait until I got home, I lied. I ate it in the car.
