Giorgio is an Italian restaurant located on Place McAuliffe in Bastogne and is easy to find on the corner. It is a 2 story restaurant that offers outdoor and indoor dining seating. I dined for dinner there last weekend. I ordered the bolognese pizza for 14€. The pizza was ready and delivered to the table in less than 15 minutes. It was a large pizza and true to its name had a generous amount of bolognese sauce for the filling with plenty of string Parmesan cheese on top. The taste of this pizza was good and it was a lot of food for the price. My complaint about the meal was the pizza was very sloppy in the center and became more of a knife and fork type of pizza because the bolognese was too soupy, Obviously to me the pizza needed more cooking time to firm up the center. It was like eating a bowl of spaghetti bolognese where you want the meat sauce to mix well with the pasta, In this case, the meat sauce would fall off of the pizza dough onto the plate. I would be glad to return here but maybe try another entree or if it's a pizza tell them to cook it well done. read more

They might have looked at us a little oddly at first when we only ordered one pizza between the two of us, but it was plenty of food for the two of us! Thank goodness I didn't let my stomach order from the menu, or we would've gotten SO MUCH food. They were kind enough to bring us the pizza split onto two plates! The servers were kind, even with our language barrier. The overall atmosphere of the place seems to be quite family-friendly. I'd recommend it if you were in the area and wanted to grab an inexpensive bite somewhere. With a few beers and just one pizza, it ended up being very reasonably priced. read more

Fine, normal European pizza. The crust was just a little thick. Nothing special, but reasonable in price and fine.

My family visits Bastogne every 2 years (and sometimes more) in December, and every trip requires a visit to this pizza shop! It is our favorite restaurant in Bastogne. The servers are friendly and take great care of us. We usually order multiple kinds of pizza and everyone shares, but a personal favorite is the Diavolo. Don't forget to ask for the spicy oil to sprinkle on your pizza! I've tried to make this red pepper infused oil at home and it is just never as good as what they offer here!! We usually get many desserts and share those as well, but my favorite is the chocolate cake and ice cream creation. It is amazing!! The cocktails here are also quite good! If you are visiting during the winter months, avoid sitting by the door, as it will get quite drafty (or just keep the cocktails a'comin', and you probably won't notice!). read more

Due to our booking mistake, our trip to Bastogne could have been a disaster. We arrived at Giorgi late at night to find it closed. We had made a reservation with one of the online booking sites, but had made a typo on the date, so they were not expecting us. A police officer and the owner of the Melba restaurant were very kind to help us make contact with a Giorgi employee, who came to our rescue and opened the hotel and prepped a room for us. The room was very clean, very comfortable. The next day, the owner was very helpful in helping us to make our arrangements to take the bus and train, and book our hotel in Brussels, for our trip home to the USA. My only regret is that we did not stay longer in Bastogne; Thank you Giorgi! read more

Very nice place to eat, not your typical Italian food. We had soup, dinner and dessert. I would say, the place is great for families and children. Very modern, yet quaint enough for couples and friends. The staff is fast with the food and drinks.. Not bad to eat read more

Attractive and well located, good ambiance. Menu shows potential, crowded late on a Wednesday nite. Hostess however, seems jaded, with a cloud that hangs over the other younger staff, who are otherwise cheery and welcoming. Cannelonis were a great concept - veal-stuffed, with mushrooms, sliced pecorino and truffle sauce over. Plenty of food, but re-heated for serving. No local breweries on the beer list, even though some of Belgium's best are at hand: Bastogne and Lupulus. Great menu, great potential; people and execution need work. read more
