Oooof. So disappointing. We ate outside on the patio here recently and it was overall just a miss for us. For starters, I have a food allergy so I needed to be able to ask some more complex questions about the menu. Our waiter got upset when I asked for a waiter who speaks English. My French is NOT good enough to have the more complex conversation about allergies that is required. The next waiter came over and we were able to sort out my allergy. That was good. I ordered the club sandwich and some fries. My husband got a burger and fries. The burger, fine. I didn't love it, my husband enjoyed it. The sandwich? As you can see from the photo, it's the saddest club sandwich on earth. The bread wasn't even toasted!! The meat and cheese looked like they came from an old pre-packaged grocery store container. The fries were honestly pretty disappointing too. They didn't taste like proper Belgium fries. For drinks my husband got the airborne beer (both the brown and white). He loved that it was served in the little ceramic helmet. While that beer was a nice bright spot in the meal, the rest was disappointing. My husband told our waiter I didn't like my sandwich, and I only took one bite before sending it back - it was still on the bill. Typically when you send food back, it is removed from the bill. But not here I guess. Don't order the club sandwich, lesson learned. Overall, we definitely would not return and would find somewhere else to eat.

If you've seen band of brothers or any WWII movie centered on the Battle of the Bulge... you will get the name of this spot. The highlight of this place is the Airborne beer and the cool helmet cup it's served in. Come hungry because the portion size is enormous - which comes with a stiff price tag as well... £18 for a burger. The parking lot has an old Sherman tank - great for a quick photo. The service could be a little faster, but I think it might be a French thing - longer meals with multiple courses.
This restaurant gets its name from the famous response to the German demand for the US troops defending Bastogne to surrender during WW2. Nowadays it would be an expletive! Le Nuts is located in the center of Bastogne on Place McAuliffe which is like the town square. An inexpensive pay parking lot is located in front. Inside, the restaurant is decorated in remembrance of the Battle of the Bulge with decor from back then along with more current pictures of famous people who have dined here. It has outdoor and indoor seating. Le Nuts has a large menu that had several items that interested me. I went with the Spaghetti Bolognese for 18€ after a suggestion from the waiter. It arrived less than 15 minutes later and was a very good choice. It came in a large bowl with plenty of spaghetti and meat sauce along with Parmesan cheese. The mixture made for an enjoyable meal of cheesy meat sauce and spaghetti and was very good tasting. The table service was attentive too. I enjoyed my visit to this popular restaurant. Had I stayed in town for a longer visit I would have probably come back to try one of their good looking hamburgers. read more
This was a super cute spot with TONS of WWII memorabilia. The staff was nice but we waited for a while for the waiter to tend to us when we needed things. Otherwise, the food was sooo good! The burgers were pretty big and filling and they were so juicy! There were 4 of us and we all asked for the burger to be cooked well. I'm glad we didn't ask for anything less than that cause all of our burgers were medium rare. We would definitely come back!! read more
** cash only** What an awesome nostalgic restaurant that has some museum qualities. You can embrace, celebrate, the historic 101st Airborne Divison's success in Bastogne by drinking dark flavorful Airborne beer out of collector helmet 'cups' (you can keep for 11 euros each). Good food, larger portions... especially the burgers! Lots of pictures and artifacts to check out while waiting for food and eating. Amazing ambience!! Lots of parking in a community parking lot. Waitress only spoke French but she understood English just fine. If in Bastogne, this is a MUST STOP!! I'll be back for sure!! read more

Kinda pricy but the portions are huge. I got the ham and cheese omelet and it was too huge to finish. Very greasy My daughter got the Aussie burger. Again, massive and it was pretty tasty read more

We loved Nuts so much we went here for lunch and dinner during our stay in Bastogne. We found all of the servers we encountered to be extremely friendly and attentive. My husband enjoyed the variety of Belgian beers. We split the cheeseburger for lunch it was huge and came with fries and a small house salad. For dinner we tried the Thai Mussels. They were great with lots of flavor. We have a connection to the Bastogne Brigade so it was special to see all the memorabilia and flags. read more

The food was pretty good and the prices were reasonable. The service was a bit lackluster but it was pretty busy at the time we visited. The Airborne Beer served in a ceramic Army helmet was cool. read more
We came here on the recommendation of a few people. We ordered the burgers based on photos posted. I think I should have ordered something else. They looked really good, but didn't taste the same. This is a clean place, nice staff, quick service. Parking lot right out front. read more
I ate at Le Nut's in Bastogne, Belgium on 5/30/2018 (30th of May). It was my 1st time there. The name is a historical tribute to the late American General Mc Auliffe's response when asked to surrender Bastogne during World War II. Great historic decor for any World War II buff. The food was good as well. Prices were: Omelette champignon (11.90), Croque Monsieur (9.00), Potage du jour (5.00) and Ricqles (2.90). Those are all in Euros. Good food and good service. Plus, I took photos. read more

The atmosphere is amazing! In the front of the restaurant they have all sorts of photos from Bastogne during the war, and in the back they have photos of men from the 101st Airborne, more specifically the 506th, and still more specifically, Easy Company! A lot of the photos are signed, and it's really a great place for any Band of Brothers fan to stop and see. The food was good and the prices slightly more expensive than usual, and though their was a language difference, the waitress tried her best to communicate with my family and I! read more
