Quaint little Japanese restaurant with delicious food(amazing hibachi) and great service. I come from Miami and we have a Samurai with comparable tasting food but way higher prices so I will save my appetite for Ginza when I am in Pulaski. read more

We stopped in on our way down Rt 81 for lunch. Food was delicious from a diverse menu. The service was friendly, prices very reasonable. Particularly enjoyed the Tempura Shrimp. Highly recommend if you are in the area, or passing through. read more

I use to love their food i went tonight very rude and I got steak chicken and shrimp Hibachi and only had three shrimp the sauce was spilled out in the bag. she kept running my card saying it was decline she moved my food to the back like I was going to steal it. I told her I'm not going to steal the food I called about my card right in front of her and it was nothing wrong with it and then it went through. some girl working there starting getting smart saying no one said you was going to steal the food but if someone moves your food from in front of you what are they moving it for?? just very unprofessional!!! I wanna first off say that I gave it three stars because the sushi itself was absolutely phenomenal. Now that I've gotten that out-of-the-way. The appetizers that we ordered which was shumai and steamed dumplings were both frozen and then with a poor attempt to heat them up for us to eat them instantly were actually hard and taste weird. The service was not great either, we walked in and nobody greeted us a sat us, down we actually had a good 10 minutes that we were able to go to the bathroom come back and then someone noticed that we were actually there, meanwhile the restaurant was empty. I must say that the sushi really was great but, there are a few things They need to do differently, one, do not freeze shumai or steam dumplings and then try to serve them in minutes cause it's not good, two make sure you great the customer and seat them, especially when it's not busy... read more

We moved to Pulaski a few years ago and Ginza is a family favorite for us. We have tried a large variety of what they offer and it is always delicious. I have had one issue with a pick up order but that is expected to happen at some point. Definitely will continue to eat Ginza. read more

Failure to deliver food scheduled two hours before for four people. Never called to let us know that they were having issues. Only after contacting thrice did they let us know they couldn't do the delivery, thirty minutes past when it due. While one instance of failure to serve proper food or even food at all is normal in this type of industry - We have all had issues with missing food in our orders prior. I'm not one to let myself get too upset with petty things but constant episodes of failure in this manner is unacceptable. I, unfortunately, can not recommend this service to anyone. read more

I have loved their entrees. I've eaten there twice so far! The miso soup is the best I've ever had and their fried rice is fantastic. However the sushi was definitely not what I will be ordering there ever again. It was obviously of very low quality. The only other feedback is that there could be more zucchini in the grilled veggies. Overall this place is definitely worth the money and their food and service has been great. read more

A very pleasant surprise. We ordered pad Thai, green curry, general Tsao chicken, and beef in garlic sauce. The green curry was excellent, quite spicy. Pad Thai was slightly bland, but still quite good. The garlic beef was good tho could have been heavier on the gatlic. The General Tsao was nice and crispy and flavorful. Their side of lo mein noodles was also flavorful, and cooked well. The white rice was too hard and dry could have been more fluffy. Now - their interior decor is another story - it is not pleasant nor inviting at all. Very dark inside. They need to brighten up the place read more

There isn't enough good I can say about this place! Since the new ownership, the inside has a nice facelift. The staff is beyond nice and will go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied with your meal. That is one this that is very hard to find in a restaurant now a days. Everything is very reasonably priced and my little family of 3 can eat there without spending an arm and a leg. The food is wonderful and always cooked to perfection and I always even up taking leftovers home. I have ordered in and out and the food is always beyond expectation. Big step up from Kimono (which used to be in this location). Food is better and delicious! Service was amazing. Friendly staff. Food came out fast and the price of the food is cheap (for all that you get). I will definitely be eating here a TON more in the future. I also want to add that I like the new layout and decorations. We have eaten dinner here at least 7-8 times. The food was always pretty great until our most recent visit. I ordered the Mongolian beef because it was absolutely delicious the first time I got it. Unfortunately, the last time I got it, it in no way resembled the same dish I was used to. The smell was off and the taste even worse! Tasted like the beef had gone bad, very bad! The sauce was completely different in taste and color. We spoke to the lady I assume is the manager about it and she got overly offended. She told us that different cooks on different shifts prepare dishes completely different. They obviously don't follow any type of recipe. She replaced the dish (I took ONE bite) and brought me sesame chicken instead of letting me decide what I'd like to replace it with. Got our bill and both the Mongolian beef AND sesame chicken were on there. I have never been required to pay for a dish I didn't eat. We really enjoyed eating there until this happened. read more

"Asian fusion" usually means a cluttered mix of bland Asian dishes, but Ginza executes a concise set of the staples of Americanized Japanese, Thai and Chinese cuisines with freshness and flavor. I have ordered from Ginza several times for delivery, and the food has been okay, not great, but not horrible either--overall the quality has been inconsistent. For example, the chicken salad was fresh, but they burned the chicken nuggets in the kids meal and one time the curry arrived hot and a little spicy (requested mild) and the next time it was so spicy--no one could eat it and arrived cold--as if it had been sitting in a refrigerator. We have had issues with items missing and one time I placed an order for pick up, and they had not even began cooking the food until way after the time they said it would be ready. Despite the inconsistencies, we planned to order tonight for dinner--there just aren't that many Asian restaurants in Pulaski, so after spending time getting the family member's orders (our orders are always over $100), I called and the woman who answered the phone was unnecessarily rude. After I said I wanted to place an order for delivery, she said "no." Since she was also yelling at someone else at the restaurant, I thought she was talking to them, and after repeating that I wanted to place an order for delivery, she once again said no, and that they do not deliver. I was a bit puzzled, and let her know I had ordered many times for delivery, and she then said they only deliver if it's not busy. I was left to assume they were busy, which might explain why she felt no need to be polite or offer an apology for the inconvenience--the front of their menu says, "We do deliver!" I had heard that many businesses were suffering because of COVID, so I guess it is nice that Ginza doesn't have that problem, but I have no plans to order from them again or go in person when all is back to normal. When my wife and I returned to Pulaski, after 52 years away, one of the first things I looked for was a restaurant with oriental cuisine. Relatives and friends pointed us to the Kimono Restaurant but did not recommend it. They offered such remarks as, "It's filthy," "It's an old restaurant and the food's no good." One myth was that "they sell cats, they put it in the food." To this one, I rebelled and challenged their statement by checking the place out. It was old, it was unclean but the menu was sufficient. NOW LET'S EXPLODE THE MYTHS. Kimono restaurant no longer exists. The building has been renovated. The interior is clean and bright. The bathroom was spotless. The new owners have prepared an extensive menu. The staff is everything a former restaurant manager would look for, and they, likewise, are clean, neat, and congenial. Lastly, THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS! IT COULD BECOME THE PLACE TO BE IF THE MYTHS WERE FORGOTTEN, AND PEOPLE THAT ENJOY ORIENTAL FOOD WOULD GET ON THE BALL AND PROMOTE IT. God knows that Pulaski needs something, some restaurant to make it stand out. I submit, GINZA Restaurant could be that place. Come on, try it; you will like it. read more
