Tried the AYCE since it only applies to weekends. The resturant is small and cozy. Nice little sushi place. Our server was attentive but kind of rushed us. Now the AYCE menu had many special rolls. The rolls came out quick and the presentation was simple. The quality was lower compared to other sushi places. The fish/seafood was lower quality and all the rolls were room temperature (not my favorite). Also that their tempora was soft, not crunchy and too much batter to shrimp ratio. The good side is that the rolls are smaller, therefore you can try many types of rolls and the price is $20, which is cheaper than other places. I would come here again though but their tempora and seafood quality was a bit of a turnoff. read more

Just went here on Sunday and had the lunch special. It was $12 for 3 rolls and it was ok! Loved my eel avocado. Cannot beat this place for a lunch deal! I work right near by, and often take advantage of the lunch special - 2 rolls and a salad or soup for $8. My company had a conference last week, we were talking to a co-worker who mentioned he loved sushi and had eaten it all over the world. He metioned GINZA at greenfield, which was near his hotel. He had stopped in and were surprised by the low prices (btw, he is from Manhattan NY) but hign quality. He said it was the best sushi he has had on the east cosat! after the conference, we decided to check it out. I am embarrassed to say we live only few miles away and had never given this place a chance (because my wife does not like sushi, she thought it's all raw fish, so do i). We ordered Shrimp terriyaki and Habaichi combo. it's delicious. and we also ordered some cooked sushi roll. my wife and I loved summer roll. it's one of the chef speicail roll . Ginza's sushi is made with fresh ingredients and attention to detail! Every time I eat there the food is delicious and the wait staff is attentive. You can't beat their "all you can eat" sushi on weekends. In addition, their bento boxes, unagi, and soup is much better than other places I've tried. Definitely great place to be. read more

Based on the recommendation from the Hampton Inn front desk I went over and tried Ginza. It was just me so I sat at the sushi bar. William the sushi chef made me a salmon special roll that had salmon on the outside and greens in the inside. He topped it with soy sauce, a jalapeño and a dab of hot sauce. It was some of the best sushi I have had. He then made me a customized dynamite roll by adding jalapeños and hot sauce to the top. William cut up two slices of cantaloupe and shaped them very fancy for dessert. I loved it. I will definitely come back when I am back in the area. read more

Good Sushi and Teriyakis but terrible hibachis. Do not order hibachis here or you will regret it. Ordered steak hibachi and the steak is as tough as rubber and tastes very bland and no grilled flavor. We decided to do the all you can eat today and although the sushi is good, I do have to touch base on the service we received. The entire staff were berating us the entire time from the moment we put in our order to the time we finished eating. What they didn't know was I understood everything they said in Mandarin. Saying we ordered the amount for 4 people's worth of food, the waitress even took out a pen and paper and calculated exactly how many pieces of sushi we ordered. She probably asked us a couple of times if we knew the rules for the all you can eat, that if we couldn't finish the sushi we'd have to pay (mind you we told her we've done this before) she then attempted to ask again if we wanted the sushi all in one shot and if we were sure to finish it While we were eating, she kept coming to check on us asking if everything was okay and then would walk into the back and talk about how much we had eaten so far. It made it very unpleasant for me to enjoy my food while listening to the staff talk about us in shock the entire time. I was hungry for some Japanese today and this place came highly recommended. When I arrived I was welcomed to a clean well decorated interior. The menu was a bit of a let down. Half of the menu is commercial Chinese food. I ordered a 2 roll lunch with miso soup and pork gyozas for appetizers. The soup came put in less than one minute of my order quickly followed by the gyoza. It was ok but the seaweed hadn't completely rehydrated and the gyoza seemed half microwaved. The California roll was about what you could find at a Chinese buffet (with similar plating). Unhappy with the order I wanted to try and see how well an order of sake nigiri would be. The waitresses had no idea what nigiri meant! In fact I am not sure if they understand any words that are not in the menu. Finally after pointing at a picture I was able to communicate what I wanted. The salmon was sticky and definitely not of a high quality. If this is the best sushi in Lancaster I won't be eating sushi anymore. read more

I've had some decent food here before but last week my sushi was a little bit off. Spicy tuna had too much fried flake mixed in so it looked fuller with less tuna. Due to lack of fish inside the roll, the overall texture was off (it reminded me of stuffings on thanksgiving dinner rather than tuna texture). Along with disappointing spicy tuna, green river maki (eel with cucumber) also had only a small amount of eel in it too. I've had a better sushi here before so I would give another try.. read more
