Salad came with pasta noodles on top which were a bit Al dente, & only 3 tomatoes but it was a decent size. Pasta dishes were large portions to match the price. Chicken Parmesan was $25 & a good size. The chick parm sub was large but needed more sauce. My fries were a bit over fried and almost burnt. The marinara wasn't popular for our party of 15. The Alfredo was delicious, and the chicken pieces were tasty. The server was very nice and she even took off the remade pizza. Prices were a bit high compared to the OG franchise. Butter & bread was nice.

DEMETRIO'S FAMILY RESTAURANT IS NOT HANDICAPPED FRIENDLY AT ALL:…read moreMy review is based on my visit to Demetrio's Family Restaurant on Broadview rd on 10-30-26 at 1:30pm - I walked in the restaurant on the south side entrance half the restaurant was empty when the hostess a guy with a beard asked me 1 or 2 - I said 1 - I asked him to seat me right across from the buffet for the shortest distance for me - he told me no because they had those three tables pushed together and that was for a party of 6 just in case they show up and he insisted I sit by the windows farthest from the buffet they were closing soon with half the restaurant empty in a hour and a half - I explained I'm handicap which should of lit a lightbulb in his head seeing I was walking with a cane and not able to walk long distances I'm 63 years old with severe osteoporosis and have had six hip replacements in my lifetime since I was 28 years old - I have NEVER experienced that in my life from any restaurant they all have been very helpful until i visited this place - I have had better service from McDonald's it's a crying shame that this restaurant REFUSES to show any EMPATHY or COMPASSION to the handicapped people whatsoever - I'm at Das Schnitzel Haus in Parma on Pearl rd for the first time and when the young lady went to seat me I asked if it was ok to sit by the bar with tables that seat 4 and she said absolutely even tho the lights were dimmed down due to the lack of customers at that time I give a a BIG THANK YOU TO DAS SCHNITZEL HAUS FOR SHOWING EMPATHY and COMPASSION THAT DEMETRIO'S FAMILY RESTAURANT LACKS.

I don't frequent Danny boys very often because of the price point. As a man from New Jersey, I have…read morea particular fund for certain styles of Pizza that you can't really find here in Ohio. Danny Boi tries to come close with a New York style pizza and they do a very good job of it. But the price point is higher than I'm normally comfortable paying for a pizza of its size. That being said, I prefer Danny boys well over Angelo's in Lakewood. Now this is not in anyway, taking away from the quality of the food. The garlic bread or nuts or whatever they were were fantastic. The Asian buffalo garlic wings that my eldest and I shared were amazing. The hunk of garlic saturated with the Asian buffalo sauce was just perfect. Our waitress was extremely friendly, answered any questions we had, and did her best to accommodate me when I asked to have our pepperoni pizza divided into 2/3 and 1/3. I didn't want it priced any differently. I just wanted all of the pepperoni that would've gone into the other third put on the other 2/3 because my one son only likes a certain amount of pepperoni. She didn't think she could do it at first, but she went back checked found out and came back and gave us what we wanted. She was quick with drink refills, and extremely friendly. The only issue I had with this visit, and this is more of a note to the entire staff, is she hung out over my shoulder the entire time while I was doing the payment and tip, which felt very pressuring to me. I genuinely leave a good tip, regardless, more often than not quality and food has nothing to do with your waitress, so why should the waitress suffer for something else. Even less than average service still will often get a decent tip for me because I know that this is their livelihood. But I do not appreciate when the staff hangs directly over my shoulder while I do so instead of giving me a moment, walking away and then coming back. I know that in this case I'm using a device of hers to do the payment, but I still did not really care for that moment. All other things aside, fantastic service, fantastic, waitress, great personality, and I was very friendly towards my kids. The look and feel of the restaurant was awesome. I love the old pictures and the feel of a 1950s or 1960s Italian restaurant with the New York City, Atlantic City, Vegas feel. The pictures of Frank Sinatra and some of the other brat Pack along with memorabilia from different movies of that era just helps to set the mood. As I said, it's not a place that they go to frequently, maybe twice a year, but when I go, the experience is always delightful
