Great spot and definitely a must stop. Glena is great. She's super friendly and easy to talk to! I always get the flights. Can't go wrong with sampler

I cannot wait to get back to Asheville to visit Ginger's Revenge. it's one of my favorite beers, and that's saying a lot for someone who doesn't really fancy beer. But I do enjoy ginger beer, ciders, & stouts. A friend brought me the seasonal dirty chai release and it is so good. The seasonal releases are going to have me booking a flight real soon.

Comedy Show with a flight of ciders

I might have to plan a move to Asheville if I know they incorporate ginger practically into every aspect of food and drink! I love ginger, it is by far my favorite root to consume. I visited based on a recommendation from a local. You know it's the best when a local would give you free recommendations and constantly raved about its fruity and floral flavors. Yum, sign me up. Upon driving up, I wasn't too sure where the brewery was as it shared a parking lot with other businesses, but I figured I was at the right spot as it was after hours and the more industrial look of the building was screaming, "this is it!" I walked inside and was immediately greeted by one of the comedians. I'm not a local so I had no idea that a comedy show was about to take place. I paid at the door, $36 to enter and my friend went to get a flight. Surprisingly, there was just one more seat left and I snagged it. The comedy show was lackluster, but the ciders were on-point delicious. Some were ultra spicy and a few were mellow. None of them got me buzzed. The ambiance was chill and relaxing. I enjoyed myself immensely.

I would come here again for sure. The srinks were wonderful and the music was great. I sometimes get opinionated about children in establishments too late, but that's me, I want to make an age=bedtime sign for fools. The restrooms were clean. The food truck smelled oh so good.

Best place in Asheville!! Come one come all!!! I came just to add pictures because out of all the times here I assumed I've done a review....GUESS NOT! I leave so happy from here I guess I forget haha. Seriously, this is your Ginger Beer Mecca!!!

A very interesting brewery experience. My daughter has been raving about this place since she vacationed in Asheville. She was right. This staff is very friendly and engaging. The beers are all made of ginger and a combination of other spices. We had a flight of four and each was equally delicious. We brought home the Hibiscus Lavender.

We got a Groupon and went with some friends. There were a lot of choices of ginger beer and with the Groupon you got two take home glasses. The ladies working there were super nice. I would recommend coming for a refreshing change from the usual breweries.

I'd had a tasting flight of their beers before while attending a comedy show at their club location in South Slope, but this time we went to their brewery location near the French Broad River where they produce, package and serve the full selection of their ginger beers. Alcoholic ginger beer (versus the NA version that is used as a cocktail mixer) is not something you find very often anywhere and AFAIK Ginger's is the only craft brewery in Asheville that produces it. I personally wasn't a huge fan of the sweeter selections in my earlier flight, but I liked the agave lime one a lot and have had it at local bars a couple times since then. This time we took one of their brewery tours that that they do one Saturday afternoon a month. It's not a very lengthy tour and their facility is small enough that you don't walk much, but it was interesting because ginger beer is quite different than regular grain-based beers. We had a good tour guide and learned about their process. At the end you get a 13 oz pour of any of their beers, so much of the ticket price for the tour goes towards that. You can take it on the tour with you or wait and have it at the end. We waited because we wanted to have the beer with food from their guest food truck, Mean Mandy's - Plant Food That's Fire (I'll review them separately, but as a spoiler -- the food was really good). The beers we chose were from their seasonal limited production set: dry-hopped passionfruit and black cherry Thai chili. The passionfruit one was fantastic: you could taste the passionfruit but it wasn't overwhelming -- not too sweet and with some hops in this case, which also came through in the backend of the taste. It was a bit like a cross between a cider and a beer. The black cherry chili one was a whole other thing, notes of cherry up front, but then -- be warned -- a really potent kick of hot chilis in the 2nd half of the taste. If you haven't tried ginger beer, you should, and this is a great place to try it.

This one is amazing

Love their out of the box beer. I wish they sold it here in Birmingham, Alabama. Can't wait to go back!

My husband and I love ginger beer, so when we learned about Ginger's Revenge's alcoholic ginger beer, it was a must-stop in Asheville. The taproom is in a warehouse building, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It is open most afternoons and has plenty of free parking. It's beautiful inside, and I loved the mural on the wall, which is the company mascot, aptly named Ginger. Our "beer-tender" Tammy quickly started our tab and explained the menu, answering our questions. We ordered a flight of blueberry mosaic, lemondrop dry hop, lime agave, and cranberry herb ginger beers to share. Flights are the way to go, because I couldn't decide on just one flavor. While the blueberry mosaic was my favorite, I would order any of those flavors again. I don't think you can go wrong with any flavor of Ginger's Revenge. We purchased several 4-packs to take home, which I recommend, as buying direct helps the independent brewers. My husband and I also bought t-shirts, and I appreciated Tammy searching for an XS shirt for me. If you're into ginger beer or cocktails like Moscow Mules, stop by Ginger's Revenge. It's worth the time and drive.

I drove all the way to Asheville to drink at Gingers. It's a small brewery that isn't always available where I live and it was worth it! Can't wait to do it again.

A nice gem in Asheville. Enjoyed all the flavors and even took a 12 pack home back to STL. Very refreshing and well done ginger cider.

The outdoor seating area is spacious and fun with old cars turned into self imposed selfie stations (guilty as charged) and a haven for sticker placements. Bartenders were great once served. Burial is so unique in that they brew something special every week. Stop by each Wednesday to find out what's new. What I love here is that for their special brew...they serve and charge per ABV...so if it's higher alcohol...you end up paying more. Other brews are by the pint. It's all good though...everyone gets looked after. On to another matter...the food. The food here is friggin delicious. I recommend the smash burger or the wings. The turkey sandwich is also great. A good lunch will cost $25/pp. Stop by the retail store and pick up a few cans of local recent brew to take home. A 4-Pack will cost no less than $24. Remember...every Wednesday they have something new and unique to sell...and it will sell out within 4 days.

I looked through a TON of reviews for this place and there is one *GLARING* difference between…read morethose reviews and mine. They seem to have visited during the day. It's quite possible if I'd have visited during the day that my review would've been 5 stars. However, we came at night (well... winter night it was like 6pm?). It was dark. First, the parking lot. It looked like a scene from a horror movie where everyone gets killed. There was no actual parking lot, just some grass along the road where people were parked. There was a chainlink fence gate that was barely open, with an overgrown sign, and it looked like you were walking into a haunted factory. We walked in the brewery and it was only light by faint lights and candles. We jokingly started calling it the MURDER BREWERY in a spooky voice. I see the beautiful plants in the pictures in reviews here and we saw none of that. I have less-than-stellar night vision and actually held onto my wife's shoulders for her to lead me around. They also have a lot of tables without chairs. Maybe that's trendy, but really I want to sit and chat while I try your beer. I don't want to have to stand around. It cleared out before we left and we got a seat eventually, but the table/chair ratio was way out of whack. All this time and I haven't spoken about the beer yet. It was pretty good. My BIL loved the Mummy Cat. We all had some pretty decent beers. However, we bolted after not too long due to it just not being a great place to hang out in the dark. Our friends enjoyed the photos we took and the catchphrase ANTIQUITY DAWNS AT MODERNITY'S TWILIGHT likely stolen from a 14 year old emo kid's journal that was on their less than useful website. There are no beer lists on it. Literally just that goofy saying and their hours.

Out of all the breweries we visited in Asheville, DSSOLVR is the only one we took beers back home with us on the drive to Atlanta.
